【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して本発明の一実施形態を説明する。
図1(a)は本発明の一実施形態に係る車載機の外観構成を示す斜視図、同図(b)は同側面図である。

図1に示すように車載機20は、固定部21と可搬部22からなる分離型となっている。固定部21は、車両に固定され、容易に取り外せない構造となっている。可搬部22は、固定部21に容易に取り付けでき、かつ、振動等では外れない構造となっている。また、固定部21及び可搬部22には、コネクタ23が設けられ、固定部21及び可搬部22内の回路がコネクタ23により結合されるようになっている。

以上詳記したように本発明によれば、車載機を固定部と可搬部とにより構成し、固定部に設けたメモリに車両に対応した車種区分コードを記憶させているので、可搬部は固定部に取り付けた時のみ料金自動収受処理を行なうことができる。従って、可搬部は、他の車両の固定部に取り付けたとしても、固定部のメモリに記憶されている車種区分コードに従って正しい料金収受が行なわれることになり、車載機の不正積み替えを確実に防止することができる。
また、車載機の可搬部は、車両から分離することができるので、可搬部のみを事務所等に設置した事務所機器に装着して残額の積み増し処理及び保守処理等を行なうことができる。
