【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、経血を吸収保持する生理用ナプキンに関する。

【従来の技術】
実開平７−３３３１４号公報には、ナプキン本体と本体の両側縁部中央域から横方向外方へ延出する一対のウイングとから構成されたフラップ付きの生理用ナプキンが開示されている。本体とウイングとの下面には、着用ショーツに対する粘着性止着域が形成されている。このナプキンを着用するには、本体の粘着性止着域を着用ショーツの股下部の内面に貼着した後、ウイングを着用ショーツの股下部の外面に折り重ねて貼着する。

このナプキンのフラップには、縦方向へ延びる補強シートが取り付けられている。ナプキンは、補強シートによってウイングの摘持と折り曲げ操作とが容易になる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記公報に開示のナプキンでは、補強シートの内側縁がコアの側縁と平行して直状に延びているので、ナプキンの着用中に補強シートの内側縁が着用者の脚周りに局所的に圧接して不快な刺激を与える場合がある。

本発明の目的は、かかる原因によって着用感が損なわれることがない生理用ナプキンを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を解決するための本発明の前提は、透液性表面シートと不透液性裏面シートとの間に吸液性コアが介在するナプキン本体と、前記ナプキン本体の両側縁部中央域から横方向外方へ延出して着用ショーツの股下部外面に折り重ねて貼着することが可能な一対のウイングとから構成された縦長の生理用ナプキンである。

前記前提における本発明の特徴は、前記ナプキンが、前記ナプキン本体の両側縁部の上面と前記ウイングの上面とに接合された縦横方向へ伸長する一対の弾性伸縮性カバーシートを有し、前記ウイングが、前記ナプキン本体の両側縁部中央域から横方向外方へ延出する前記裏面シートの部分と、縦方向へ延びる内側縁および外側縁を有して前記裏面シートの部分上面に接合された補強シートとから形成され、前記補強シートの内側縁が、前記ナプキン本体の側縁部から横方向外方へ離間して前記外側縁に向かって凸となるように湾曲し、前記カバーシートが、前記ナプキン本体の側縁部全域から横方向内方へ延出して前記表面シートの上方に位置する内方部分と、前記ナプキン本体の側縁部中央域から横方向外方へ延出して前記ウイングの上面全体を覆う外方部分と、前記ナプキン本体の両端縁部の側に位置する側縁部両端域から横方向外方へ延出し、前記ウイングを越えて前記ナプキン本体の縦方向へ延びる両端部分とから形成され、前記カバーシートの内方部分が、縦方向へ伸長された状態で前記ナプキン本体の両端縁部上面に接合され、前記着用ショーツに対する粘着性止着域が、前記ウイングの下面と前記カバーシートの両端部分の下面とに形成されていることにある。

添付の図面を参照し、本発明に係る生理用ナプキンの詳細を説明すると、以下のとおりである。

図１，２は、生理用ナプキン１の部分破断斜視図と、図１のＡ−Ａ線断面図とである。図１では、縦方向を矢印Ｌで示し、横方向を矢印Ｍで示す。生理用ナプキン１は、図１に示すように、縦方向へ長いものであって、ナプキン本体１ａと、本体１ａの両側縁部１ｃの中央域から横方向外方へ延出する一対のウイング１ｂと、ウイング１ｂの全体を覆う一対のカバーシート５とから構成されている。

ナプキン本体１ａは、透液性表面シート２と、不透液性裏面シート３と、それらシート２，３の間に介在する吸液性コアとから形成されている。コア４は、接着剤を介して表面シート２の下面と裏面シート３の上面とのうちの少なくとも一方に接合されている。表面シート２と裏面シート３とは、コア４の両端縁４ａから縦方向外方へ延出する部位が互いに接合され、コア４の両側縁４ｂから横方向外方へ延出する部位が互いに接合されている。本体１ａにおける裏面シート３の下面には、着用ショーツの股下部内面に対する粘着性止着域３１（図２参照）が形成されている。

ウイング１ｂは、本体１ａの側縁部１ｃの中央域から横方向外方へ延出する裏面シート３の部分３ａと、裏面シート３の部分３ａの上面に接着剤３３を介して接合された補強シート６とから形成されている。ウイング１ｂの下面には、着用ショーツの股下部外面に対する粘着性止着域３２（図２参照）が形成されている。それら止着域３１，３２には、粘着剤が塗布されている。

補強シート６は、本体１ａの両側部１ｃに並行して縦方向へ延びる内側縁６ａと外側縁６ｂとを有する。コア４の側縁４ａと向かい合う内側縁６ａは、本体１ａの側縁部１ｃから横方向外方へ離間して外側縁６ｂに向かって凸となるように湾曲している。補強シート６の縦方向の寸法は、裏面シート３の部分３ａのそれと同じであるか、または、部分３ａのそれよりも小さい。補強シート６の外側縁６ｂは、裏面シート３の部分３ａの外側縁３ｂの内側に位置している。外側縁６ｂは、外側縁３ｂに一致していてもよい。補強シート６は、その上面がカバーシート５の下面に接合されていてもよい。

補強シート６は、その剛性が裏面シート３やカバーシート５のいずれの剛性よりも高い。ＪＩＳ−Ｌ１０９６に準拠した４５度カンチレバー法による補強シート６の剛性値は、３０ｍｍ以上であることが好ましい。かかる高剛性の補強シート６の存在によって、ウイング１ｂの摘持と折り曲げ操作とが容易になる。補強シート６には、薄葉紙、不織布、シート状のパルプ、または、ポリエステルやポリプロピレンの合成樹脂シート等を使用することができる。ウイング１ｂを高剛性化するには、補強シート６に代えて、ウイング１ｂにホットメルト接着剤等の接着剤や粘着剤を塗布してもよい。

カバーシート５は、弾性伸縮性を有し、本体１ａの側縁部１ｃに並行して縦方向へ延びている。カバーシート５は、本体１ａの両側縁部１ｄ間に延びる接合線７で本体１ａに接合されている。カバーシート５は、本体１ａの側縁部１ｃ全域から横方向内方へ延出する内方部分５ａと、本体１ａの側縁部１ｃ中央域から横方向外方へ延出する外方部分５ｂと、本体１ａの両端縁部１ｄの側に位置する側縁部１ｃ両端域から横方向外方へ延出し、ウイング１ｂを越えて本体１ａの縦方向へ延びる両端部分５ｃとから形成されている。両端部分５ｃは、ウイング１ｂと重なり合っていない。内方部分５ａは、表面シート２の上方に位置し、本体１ａの縦方向へ伸長された状態で、本体１ａの両端縁部１ｄに延びる接合線３６で本体１ａに接合されている。外方部分５ｂは、ウイング１ｂの上面全体を覆うとともに、ウイング１ｂの上面に接合されている。両端部分５ｃの下面には、着用ショーツの股下部外面に対する粘着性止着域が形成されている（図示せず）。両端部分５ｃの止着域には、粘着剤が塗布されている。本体１ａとカバーシート５の内方部分５ａとの間には、接合線７，３６によって囲まれて本体１ａの横方向内方へ向かって開口するポケット９が形成されている。カバーシート５は、縦方向と横方向とへ弾性的に１０〜２００％伸長するものである。

カバーシート５に使用する弾性伸縮性シートには、エラスチックフィルム、弾性伸縮性不織布等がある。エラスチックフィルムや弾性伸縮性不織布は、疎水性であることが好ましい。なお、カバーシート５には、エラスチックフィルムと弾性伸縮性不織布とのラミネートシートを使用することもできる。かかるラミネートシートは、不織布が着用者の肌に当接するようにして使用することが好ましい。

図３は、仮想線で示す着用ショーツ１０の股下部に止着したナプキン１の裏面図である。図３では、ウイング１ｂとカバーシート５の外方部分５ｂおよび両端部分５ｃとが着用ショーツ１０の股下部外面側に折り曲げられている。ナプキン１では、折り曲げられたウイング１ｂが粘着性止着域３２を介してショーツ１０の股下部外面に貼着され、折り曲げられたカバーシート５の両端部分５ｃが粘着性止着域を介してショーツ１０の股下部外面に貼着されている。カバーシート５の両端部分５ｃを股下部外面に貼着する場合は、両端部分５ｃを縦方向へ伸長させ、ショーツ１０の外面を広く覆うようにする。ナプキン１では、補強シート６の内側縁６ａがショーツ１０の脚周り開口縁部に沿って延びている。ナプキン１では、補強シート６の全体がカバーシート５によって覆われているので、高剛性の補強シート６が着用者の脚周りに直接当たることはなく、着用者に不快な刺激を与えることはない。ウイング１ｂおよび補強シート６を着用ショーツ１０の脚周り開口縁部に沿って折り曲げるときは、カバーシート５をナプキン１の横方向外方へ引っ張りながら折り曲げることで、カバーシート５の内方部分５ａを表面シート２の上面から上方へ移動させることができ、ポケット９を大きく開口させることができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明に係る生理用ナプキンによれば、ウイングを着用ショーツの股下部外面側に折り曲げると、補強シートの湾曲した内側縁が着用ショーツの脚周り開口縁部に沿って延びるので、補強シートが着用者の脚周りに局所的に圧接することがなく、着用者に不快な刺激を与えることがない。このナプキンは、カバーシートの両端部分をナプキンの横方向外方へ伸長させて着用ショーツの股下部外面に貼着すると、カバーシートが着用ショーツの股下部外面を広い範囲で覆うので、カバーシートを利用して着用ショーツの汚れを広範囲にわたって防止することができる。また、カバーシートの両端部分をナプキンの横方向外方へ伸長させることで、ポケットが大きく開口し、ポケットによるナプキン横方向へ流れる経血の捕捉が容易になる。

Claims (2)

  1. 透液性表面シートと不透液性裏面シートとの間に吸液性コアが介在するナプキン本体と、前記ナプキン本体の両側縁部中央域から横方向外方へ延出して着用ショーツの股下部外面に折り重ねて貼着することが可能な一対のウイングとから構成された縦長の生理用ナプキンにおいて、
    前記ナプキンが、前記ナプキン本体の両側縁部の上面と前記ウイングの上面とに接合された縦横方向へ伸長する一対の弾性伸縮性カバーシートを有し、
    前記ウイングが、前記ナプキン本体の両側縁部中央域から横方向外方へ延出する前記裏面シートの部分と、縦方向へ延びる内側縁および外側縁を有して前記裏面シートの部分の上面に接合された補強シートとから形成され、前記補強シートの内側縁が、前記ナプキン本体の側縁部から横方向外方へ離間して前記外側縁に向かって凸となるように湾曲し、
    前記カバーシートが、前記ナプキン本体の側縁部全域から横方向内方へ延出して前記表面シートの上方に位置する内方部分と、前記ナプキン本体の側縁部中央域から横方向外方へ延出して前記ウイングの上面全体を覆う外方部分と、前記ナプキン本体の両端縁部の側に位置する側縁部両端域から横方向外方へ延出し、前記ウイングを越えて前記ナプキン本体の縦方向へ延びる両端部分とから形成され、前記カバーシートの内方部分が、縦方向へ伸長された状態で前記ナプキン本体の両端縁部上面に接合され、前記着用ショーツに対する粘着性止着域が、前記ウイングの下面と前記カバーシートの両端部分の下面とに形成されていることを特徴とする前記ナプキン。
  2. 前記補強シートの剛性が、前記裏面シートと前記カバーシートとの剛性よりも高い請求項１記載のナプキン。
