Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明は、撹拌翼3に対して以下の条件で開口4を設ける。(i)撹拌翼3の上半分Uの総面積に対する該上半分Uにおける開口4の開口面積の比率(撹拌翼3の上半分Uにおける開口率)が45〜80%、(ii)撹拌翼3の下半分Dの総面積に対する該下半分Dにおける開口4の開口面積の比率(撹拌翼3の下半分Dにおける開口率)が18〜50%、(iii)撹拌翼3の上半分Uにおける開口率に対する撹拌翼3の下半分Dにおける開口率の比率が31〜71%。

<実験条件>
・槽内径D(撹拌槽1の胴部の内径):310mm
・翼径d(撹拌翼3の幅):165mm
・翼高B(槽底部の最下位置から撹拌翼3の最上端までの高さ):295mm
・液深L(槽底部の最下位置から液面までの高さ):357mm
・槽底部形状:半楕円
・邪魔板:有り
・液量:25リットル
・液粘度:1cp(水)
・撹拌動力:0.2kW/m3
<実験方法>
ヨウ素還元脱色法を用い、流動状態を観察する。即ち、撹拌槽1内の液をヨウ素にて赤褐色に着色し、脱色液を投入してから撹拌を行う上で、槽内液の脱色の進み具合及び仕切ゾーンの有無を観察する(VTR記録)。尚、この方法は、例えばMixing(1975) Shinji NAGATA John Wiley & Sons, P187, 4.3.1 Method of Measuring Mixer Performance や、Handbook of Industrial Mixing,John Willy & Sons, P167, 4-4.3 Approximate Mixing Time Measurement with Colorimetric methods にも開示されている周知の方法である。因みに、「○」は、撹拌槽1の下部から吐出された流動がスムーズに上部に到達し、上下方向に連続した一つの上下循環流動が形成された場合に対する評価であり、「△」は、撹拌槽1の下部から吐出された流動がほとんど上部に到達しているが、一部途中で中心側への流動が見られた場合に対する評価であり、「×」は、明らかに上下循環流動が分断された場合に対する評価である。
Claims (2)
- 撹拌槽(1)内中心部に槽外から回転可能な撹拌軸(2)が配設され、該撹拌軸(2)に平板且つ矩形状の撹拌翼(3)が取り付けられてなる撹拌機において、該撹拌翼(3)が複数の開口(4,…)を以下の条件で備えてなることを特徴とする撹拌機。
(i)撹拌翼(3)の上半分(U)の総面積に対する該上半分(U)における開口(4)の開口面積の比率(撹拌翼(3)の上半分(U)における開口率)が45〜80%
(ii)撹拌翼(3)の下半分(D)の総面積に対する該下半分(D)における開口(4)の開口面積の比率(撹拌翼(3)の下半分(D)における開口率)が18〜50%
(iii)撹拌翼(3)の上半分(U)における開口率に対する撹拌翼(3)の下半分(D)における開口率の比率が31〜71% - 前記開口(4,…)は、前記撹拌軸(2)に対して非線対称に配置される請求項1に記載の撹拌機。
