BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a communication terminal apparatus having a function of transferring transmitted / received images to a specific communication terminal.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, a communication terminal device has been developed that has a function of transferring images to other specific communication terminal devices together with transmitted / received images or communication start time and destination information. FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram of an example of the transfer function. In the figure, 1 is a communication terminal device, 2 is a line, 3 and 4 are counterpart communication terminal devices, and 5 is a management communication terminal device. When the transfer function is set, the
[0003]
When this transfer function is used, for example, an image transmitted to a certain destination cannot be erased until transmission to a specific communication terminal device is completed by transfer. For example, at the time of polling transmission in which an image is transmitted in response to an incoming call from the counterpart device, the image is stored in advance in an area (memory box) of the image memory for polling transmission. Then, an incoming image is received from the counterpart device, an image is transmitted, and then the image transmitted by the transfer function is transferred to a specific communication terminal device. However, since the transmission request by the transfer function is conventionally added to the end of the transmission request queue including other transmission requests, if many transmission requests are accepted, the polling transmission until the transmission end by the transfer function It took a long time. Therefore, even if polling transmission is actually finished, there is a problem that the memory box for polling transmission is not opened until transmission by the transfer function is finished, and a new image for polling transmission cannot be stored.
[0004]
Of course, such a problem occurs not only in polling transmission but also in various transmission types. For example, the same applies to the case of using a batch transmission function in which images to be transmitted are stored in a batch transmission memory box and the images stored up to that point in time are transmitted in a batch. That is, after batch transmission, a new image cannot be stored in the batch transfer memory box until transfer by the transfer function is completed. The same applies to normal transmission. When the image memory is insufficient, a new transmission cannot be reserved until the transfer by the transfer function is completed. Furthermore, even if an image can be deleted when it is received and printed out, if the transfer function is used, it cannot be deleted until the transfer by the transfer function is completed, and if the free space of the image memory becomes small, the memory is insufficient. It may also occur that the data cannot be received by
[0005]
In particular, as described above, since the transmission request by the transfer function has been added to the end of the transmission request queue in the past, there is a period during which various operations for transmission as described above and image reception cannot be performed. There was a problem of prolonged.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a communication terminal apparatus that shortens a period during which each function cannot be used even when the transfer function is used.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a communication terminal device for communicating via a line, an image memory for storing an image transmitted or received, a transmission / reception through the communication means, and a transfer of the transmitted / received image to a specific communication terminal. Control means for controlling communication reservation at the time of transfer based on the type of communication at the time of transmission / reception.
[0008]
For example, when the communication type is polling transmission, it is possible to perform control so that the transmission reservation for transferring an image corresponding to the transmission has the highest priority. For example, when the communication type is batch transmission, it is possible to control to give priority to a transmission reservation for transferring an image corresponding to the transmission. As a result, a memory box for polling transmission and a memory box for batch transmission can be opened at an early stage to store a new image.
[0009]
As described above, for each communication type such as the polling transmission function and the collective transmission function, for example, priority is set based on the communication type, and transmission reservation at the time of transfer is controlled. As a result, the transmission reservation in the transfer function of the communication type having a higher priority than other transmission reservations is preferentially transmitted, and the use restriction of the communication type can be avoided as early as possible.

[0029]
When the transmission / reception is completed, in S33, history information such as destination information, transmission / reception time, transmission / reception time, number of sheets, and communication result is stored in the communication management table 24. In S34, the line is opened and the communication is terminated.
[0030]
After the communication is completed, a transmission request for transferring an image transmitted and received by the transfer function is registered. First, in S35, it is determined whether or not the communication performed in S31 to S34 is transmission. Here, it is determined that polling transmission is not transmission here. In the case of transmission, the transmission request is registered in the transmission reservation command table 22, and it is possible to delete the transmission request and register (one of) transmission requests for the transfer function. In the case of reception, since the transmission reservation command table 22 does not change, the transmission request for the transfer function corresponding to the reception is registered as it is.
[0031]
If the communication performed is reception, it is determined in S36 whether or not there is a vacancy in the transmission reservation command table 22. If there is a vacancy in the transmission reservation command table 22, a transfer transmission request corresponding to the reception is stored in the transmission reservation command table 22 in S37, and the communication process is terminated. At this time, communication types such as normal reception and polling transmission are added. As a result, it can be used to determine priority when a request to be transmitted next is taken out. For example, a transfer transmission request for polling transmission can be transmitted with the highest priority.
[0032]
If it is determined in S36 that there is no free space in the transmission reservation command table 22, the transfer transmission request cannot be stored in the transmission reservation command table 22 as it is. In this case, in S38, the transmitted transmission
[0033]
If the communication performed in S31 to S35 is transmission, it is determined in S39 whether or not transfer transmission for the transmission is necessary. For example, when the transmission that has been performed is transfer transmission, it is determined that transfer transmission is not necessary because transfer transmission of transfer transmission is not performed. If transfer transmission is not required, the process proceeds to S51 in FIG.
[0034]
If it is determined that transfer transmission is necessary, it is determined in S40 whether or not there is a vacancy in the transmission reservation command table 22. If there is a vacancy in the transmission reservation command table 22, the transmission record in the transmission reservation command table 22 is deleted in S41. In S42, the transfer transmission request corresponding to the transmission is stored in the transmission reservation command table 22, and the communication process is terminated. At this time, communication types such as normal transmission and batch transmission are added. As a result, it can be used to determine priority when a request to be transmitted next is taken out. For example, a transfer transmission request for batch transmission can be transmitted with high priority.
[0035]
If it is determined in S40 that there is no space in the transmission reservation command table 22, the transfer transmission request cannot be stored in the transmission reservation command table 22 as it is. In this case, first, in S43, information on the transmitted image such as resolution and number of sheets and information such as communication type such as batch transmission and normal transmission are stored in the transfer transmission
[0036]
Here, the reason why the transfer transmission request is temporarily stored in the transfer transmission
[0037]
Further, the priority order when the transfer transmission request is extracted from the transfer transmission
[0038]
If the communication performed in S31 to S35 is a transmission that does not require transfer transmission, for example, if it is transfer transmission itself, the record of the transmission in the transmission reservation command table 22 is deleted in S51. . In S52, it is determined whether or not there is a transfer transmission request in the transfer transmission
[0039]
By such processing, the transfer transmission request generated at the time of transfer transmission is stored in the transmission reservation command table 22 and transmitted according to the priority order together with other transmission requests in the transmission reservation command table 22. At this time, by setting the priority according to the communication type for the transfer transmission request, the transfer transmission request for the communication type for which a high priority is set is transmitted with priority over other transmission requests. Can do. If there is no space in the transmission reservation command table 22, the transfer transmission request is stored in the transfer transmission reservation wait
[0040]
For example, if the communication type is set to a higher priority for transfer transmission requests for polling transmission or batch transmission, these transmission transmission requests are transferred to the transmission reservation command table 22 with priority, and also in the transmission reservation command table 22. Transmission processing is performed with priority. The polling transmission memory box and the batch transmission memory box cannot store the next image until the transfer transmission is completed. However, as described above, priority is given to the transmission transmission request for polling transmission or batch transmission. These memory boxes can be opened early and new images can be stored.
[0041]
In the operation examples shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 described above, transmission and reception are both performed using the transfer function. However, only transmission or reception is the target of the transfer function, or the communication type. It may be possible to set whether or not to be subject to the transfer function for each. Even in such a case, by setting a priority for each communication type for which the transfer function is set, transfer transmission of a communication type with a higher priority can be executed with priority.
[0042]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, transfer transmission reservation by the transfer function is controlled based on the communication type at the time of transmission / reception. For example, if the priority of the transmission function using the memory box such as polling transmission or batch transmission is set high, transfer transmission corresponding to polling transmission or batch transmission can be executed with priority. Accordingly, there is an effect that it is possible to register a new image by opening the memory box early after the communication is completed.
