Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an automatic steering system in which a headlight is mounted on a synthetic resin handle cover that covers a bar handle so that an optical axis can be adjusted, and a pair of direction indicators arranged on the left and right sides of the headlight are mounted. The present invention relates to a motorcycle, and more particularly to an improvement in a headlight support structure.
BACKGROUND ART A headlight is attached to a handle cover composed of a synthetic resin lower cover that covers a bar handle from below and a synthetic resin upper cover that covers a bar handle from above so that the optical axis can be adjusted. Japanese Patent No. 2767240 discloses a structure in which a pair of left and right direction indicators are mounted. In this structure, headlights are provided on the upper end of a plate-shaped support unit integrally provided on a lower cover. A bearing portion for supporting a support shaft provided from below is provided in a substantially U-shape which is opened upward, and a protrusion protruding from a lower portion of the headlight is fastened to a lower cover so that a front-rear position can be adjusted. .
By the way, the handle cover is composed of a synthetic resin front cover that covers the bar handle from the front side, and a synthetic resin rear cover that covers the bar handle from the rear side. Axial adjustment is possible, and a pair of left and right direction indicators may be installed. In this case, if a conventional headlamp support structure as described above is adopted, the front part and the front part which are molded from synthetic resin are used. Since the mold direction of the rear cover and the moving direction of the mold for forming the bearing for supporting the support shafts provided on the left and right of the headlight from below will be orthogonal to each other, the slide mold must be used. The manufacturing cost of the handle cover increases. Therefore, it is required to realize a structure for supporting the headlight without using a slide type. At this time, it is desired to avoid a complicated shape of the handle cover.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and in a motorcycle in which a front and rear cover constitutes a handle cover, it is possible to avoid using a slide mold when molding the front and rear covers. It is an object of the present invention to provide a headlight supporting structure capable of simplifying the shape of each cover and swingably supporting a headlight.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a handle cover for covering a bar handle, a front cover made of synthetic resin for covering the bar handle from the front side, and a synthetic resin cover for covering the bar handle from the rear side. The motorcycle includes a rear cover, a headlight is mounted on the front cover so that the optical axis can be adjusted, and a pair of direction indicators arranged on the left and right of the headlight is mounted. A pair of pivots that are supported from the front and rear between a pair of first bearing halves provided on one side of the rear cover and a pair of second bearing halves provided on the two-way indicator lamp so as to be swingable. However, a first feature is that the headlights are provided coaxially on both left and right sides of the headlight.
According to such a configuration, a pair of support shafts coaxially provided on the left and right sides of the headlamp can swing so as to be sandwiched between the pair of first and second bearing halves from the front and rear. And the first bearing half provided on one of the front and rear covers only needs to be molded in the same direction as the mold split direction at the time of molding the front and rear covers. Since no mold is required, the manufacturing cost of the handle cover can be reduced, and the first bearing half has only to have a simple shape facing one of the mold split directions. Can also be simplified.
Further, in addition to the configuration of the first feature, the present invention further includes a mounting portion for mounting the directional indicators on the front cover, on the upper portion of each of the directional indicators, and a mounting portion adjacent to the mounting portion. The second feature is that the two bearing halves are projectingly connected to each other, and according to such a configuration, the direction near the second bearing half supporting the half of the support shaft of the headlight is provided. Since the indicator light is attached to the front cover, the support rigidity of the support shaft by the second bearing half can be increased.
