【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は床清掃装置の回転す
るパッド台に取り付けて使用する清掃用パッドに関する
ものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、床を清掃するには、樹脂からなり
回転するパッド台を有する床清掃装置の上記パッド台に
清掃用パッドを取り付け、清掃用パッドを床面に接触さ
せた状態でパッド台を約１５００ｒｐｍで回転し、清掃
用パッドを床面上に移動させている。
【０００３】しかし、床面に傷がついてその傷内に汚れ
が入り込んだような場合には、床面上の汚れを有効に落
すことができない。
【０００４】そこで、最近では、あらかじめ床面上に熱
反応樹脂を混合した樹脂ワックスを塗布しておき、清掃
用パッドを床面に接触させた状態でパッド台を１５００
〜２５００ｒｐｍで回転し、清掃用パッドを床面上に移
動することにより、摩擦熱で樹脂ワックスを軟化させ、
樹脂ワックスの表面の微小な凸部を除去して、樹脂ワッ
クスの表面を鏡面状態に修復することが行なわれてい
る。
【０００５】そして、清掃用パッドとしては、ナイロン
繊維をコイル状にしたものからなるコイルパッド、ポリ
エステル繊維等の化学繊維で作られた厚さ約２ｃｍの不
織布からなるものなどが使用されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし、このような清
掃用パッドにおいては、通気性があるから、樹脂ワック
スの温度がそれほど上昇しないので、樹脂ワックスが十
分に軟化しない。このため、樹脂ワックスの表面の微小
な凸部を十分に除去することができないから、樹脂ワッ
クスの表面を確実に鏡面状態に修復することができない
ので、清掃用パッドを床面上に何度も移動しなければな
らない。
【０００７】本発明は上述の課題を解決するためになさ
れたもので、床面上に塗布された樹脂ワックスの表面を
確実に鏡面状態に修復することができる清掃用パッドを
提供することを目的とする。
【０００８】
【課題を解決するための手段】この目的を達成するた
め、本発明においては、床清掃装置の回転するパッド台
に取り付けて使用する清掃用パッドにおいて、基布に７
０〜９０％の木綿と１０〜３０％のナイロンとからなる
糸をタフティングして繊維層とする。
【０００９】
【発明の実施の形態】図１は本発明に係る清掃用パッド
を示す概略正断面図、図２は図１に示した清掃用パッド
を示す概略平面図である。図に示すように、基布１の表
面に厚さが約１ｃｍの繊維層２が設けられ、繊維層２は
８０％の木綿紡績糸と２０％のナイロンフィラメントと
を撚糸状にした糸を基布１にタフティングして設けられ
ている。すなわち、基布１に上記糸がタフデッド加工で
植毛されて繊維層２が設けられている。また、基布１の
裏面にはフェルトからなるバッキング材３が設けられて
いる。そして、全体が円形状に切断されており、中央に
円形の穴４が設けられている。
【００１０】この清掃用パッドを床清掃装置の回転する
パッド台に取り付け、清掃用パッドの繊維層２を樹脂ワ
ックスが塗布された床面に接触させた状態でパッド台を
１５００〜２５００ｒｐｍで回転したときには、主に繊
維層２のナイロンフィラメントから摩擦熱が発生し、繊
維層２の木綿紡績糸が熱が逃げるのを防止することがで
きるから、床面上に塗布された樹脂ワックスの温度を４
０〜８０度に上昇させることができるので、樹脂ワック
スが十分に軟化する。このため、樹脂ワックスの表面の
微小な凸部を十分に除去することができるから、樹脂ワ
ックスの表面を確実に鏡面状態に修復することができる
ので、清掃用パッドを床面上に一度だけ移動すればよい
ため、効率良く床面の清掃を行なうことができる。
【００１１】図３は本発明に係る他の清掃用パッドを示
す概略正断面図、図４は図３に示した清掃用パッドを示
す概略平面図である。図に示すように、基布１の表面に
厚さが約１ｃｍの繊維層１１が設けられ、繊維層１１は
８０％の木綿紡績糸と２０％のナイロンフィラメントと
を撚糸状にした糸を基布１にタフティングして設けられ
ている。また、繊維層１１に幅が４．５ｃｍの溝１２が
設けられている。この溝１２は基布１に植毛される上記
糸の長さを変えることにより形成することができる。
【００１２】この清掃用パッドにおいては、溝１２がラ
ジエータの役目を果たすから、樹脂ワックスの温度が極
端に上昇することがないので、樹脂ワックスに焦げ跡が
生ずるのを防止することができる。
【００１３】なお、上述実施の形態においては、基布１
に植毛される上記糸の長さを変えることにより溝１２を
形成したが、基布１に植毛されたループ状の上記糸を一
部カットして、カットしなかった部分に溝を形成しても
よい。また、上述実施の形態においては、８０％の木綿
紡績糸と２０％のナイロンフィラメントとを撚糸状にし
た糸を用いたが、７０〜９０％の木綿と１０〜３０％の
ナイロンとからなる糸を用いればよく、７５〜８５％の
木綿と１５〜２５％のナイロンとからなる糸を用いるの
が好ましく、７８〜８２％の木綿と１８〜２２％のナイ
ロンとからなる糸を用いるのがより好ましい。

【発明の効果】本発明に係る清掃用パッドにおいては、
主に繊維層のナイロンから摩擦熱が発生し、繊維層の木
綿が熱が逃げるのを防止することができるから、床面上
に塗布された樹脂ワックスが十分に軟化するので、樹脂
ワックスの表面を確実に鏡面状態に修復することができ
る。
