Claims (9)
- 導光光学素子を含む光学デバイスであって、導光光学素子は、
第1の硬質層と、
第2の硬質層と、
前記第1の硬質層と前記第2の硬質層との間に置かれるとともに前記第1の硬質層と前記第2の硬質層を機械的に連結するポリマー材料の軟質層であって、前記ポリマー材料が安全なガラス特性をもたらすのに十分な引張強度を有し、前記導光光学素子は全内部反射が生じる2つの主要な平行な外部表面を有する、ポリマー材料の軟質層とを含み、
前記硬質層の少なくとも1つは複数の互いに平行な部分反射面を含み、
前記部分反射面は前記外部表面に非平行である、光学デバイス。 - 前記軟質層は前記硬質層に屈折率整合される、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 軟質層は前記硬質層の各々とは異なる屈折率を有する、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記軟質層と前記硬質層の少なくとも1つとの間に置かれた少なくとも1つの第3の層をさらに含み、前記少なくとも1つの第3の層は部分的に反射し、前記導光光学素子の少なくとも一部にわたって伸びる、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記硬質層の各々は前記複数の互いに平行な部分反射面を含む、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記複数の互いに平行な部分反射面は前記第1の硬質層内に含まれ、前記第2の硬質層内に互いに平行な部分反射面の第2のセットをさらに含み、前記第2の硬質層の前記部分反射面は、前記第1の硬質層の前記部分反射面に非平行である、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記導光光学素子はニアアイディスプレイの一部である、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 全内部反射によって導光光学素子内に伝播し、かつ、部分反射面によって観察者の眼に向かって屈折するように、導光光学素子へ画像を導入するために配置された画像プロジェクターをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記軟質層は、ポリビニル・ブチラール(PVB)、エチレン酢酸ビニル(EVA)、およびエチレン・メタクリル酸(Ionoplast)から選択される少なくとも1つの材料で構成される、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
