Description

The present invention relates to a polyester spun yarn.

Conventionally, in clothing such as T-shirts, underwear, casual wear, trekking wear, and sportswear, cotton tends to be preferred in terms of appearance and texture. However, cotton products have problems such as becoming heavy when wet with water or sweat, and causing sweat to cool when the wet sweat evaporates, taking heat away. Therefore, in recent years, many products made of polyester fibers are commercially available. Polyester fibers are not sticky to the skin because they are difficult to get wet with water and sweat, and are easy to act even when worn (excellent functionality). Furthermore, since it is difficult to get wet, sweat chill is less likely to occur.

While having such excellent properties, polyester fiber products have the problem of poor aesthetics and texture like cotton products, and are prone to pilling. In order to solve such a problem, Patent Document 1 discloses a knitted or knitted fabric using a spun yarn containing polytrimethylene terephthalate, and describes that it has anti-pilling properties. Patent Documents 2 to 4 disclose polyester woven or knitted fabrics having improved texture using filaments (long fibers). However, the woven and knitted fabrics described in Patent Documents 1 to 4 do not satisfy all of the anti-pilling property, the aesthetics of cotton, and the texture of cotton.

An object of the present invention is to provide a polyester spun yarn from which a woven or knitted fabric satisfying anti-pilling property, cotton aesthetics and cotton texture in addition to the wettability and handling properties of polyester fibers can be obtained.

As a result of intensive studies to solve the above problems, the inventor has found a solution means having the following configuration, and has completed the present invention.
(1) A bundled spun yarn in which a part of a polyethylene terephthalate short fiber is wound around an outer peripheral surface of a fiber bundle composed of two or more different types of polyethylene terephthalate short fibers. A polyester spun yarn which is wound at an inclination angle of 30 degrees or less with respect to the longitudinal direction.
(2) The polyester spun yarn according to (1), wherein two or more different polyethylene terephthalate short fibers differ in at least one of specific gravity, thickness, cross-sectional shape, and crimp rate.
(3) The polyester spun yarn according to (1) or (2), wherein at least one of the polyethylene terephthalate short fibers has an irregular cross section.
(4) A woven or knitted fabric formed of the polyester spun yarn according to any one of (1) to (3) above.

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a polyester spun yarn from which a woven or knitted fabric satisfying anti-pilling property, cotton aesthetics and cotton texture in addition to the wettability and handling properties of polyester fibers can be provided.

It is explanatory drawing which shows one Embodiment of the polyester spun yarn which concerns on this invention. It is explanatory drawing which shows the polyester spun yarn by the conventional binding spinning. 5 is a graph showing the distribution of binding fibers and inclination angles in the polyester spun yarns obtained in Example 1 and Comparative Example 2.

Hereinafter, the polyester spun yarn according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG. As shown in FIG. 1, a polyester spun yarn 10 according to an embodiment includes a PET short yarn on an outer peripheral surface of a fiber bundle 12 composed of polyethylene terephthalate short fibers (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “PET short fibers”) 11. This is a bound spun yarn in which a part 11a of the fiber is wound. That is, a part of PET short fibers forming the fiber bundle 12 (hereinafter may be referred to as “bundled fibers”) 11a is wound around the remaining PET short fibers 11b.

In the polyester spun yarn 10 according to one embodiment, it is important that the PET short fibers 11 are composed of two or more different PET short fibers. When two or more kinds of different PET short fibers are used, PET short fibers having different physical properties and appearances show different movements (behaviors) during, for example, bundling spinning, and are entangled in a complicated manner, resulting in disorder of parallelism and unevenness. As a result, a natural surface feeling and cotton aesthetics can be obtained.

“Two or more different PET short fibers” are different in physical properties and appearance, for example. Examples of physical properties and appearance include specific gravity, thickness, cross-sectional shape (circular, triangular, flat, cross, hollow, etc.), crimp rate, gloss (fullal, semidal, bright, etc.), and the like. Among these, it is preferable to use two or more types of PET short fibers having at least one of specific gravity, thickness, cross-sectional shape and crimp rate, and it is more preferable that at least one of the PET short fibers has an irregular cross-section. . Examples of the irregular cross section include a cross section.

In the PET short fiber 11, it is preferable that at least one of two or more different PET short fibers has a modified cross section such as a cross section. By using such PET short fibers 11, the aesthetics of cotton and the texture of cotton can be further improved.

In the polyester spun yarn 10 according to one embodiment, as described above, a part 11a (binding fibers 11a) of the PET short fibers forming the fiber bundle 12 is wound around the remaining PET short fibers 11b. In general, PET short fibers tend to fluff and pilling (pills) is likely to occur. Therefore, in order to suppress the generation of pills (to increase the anti-pilling property), the PET short fibers are subjected to binding spinning in which a part of the PET short fibers constituting the fiber bundle is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the fiber bundle. The However, the bound spun yarn obtained in this way has a problem that although the anti-pilling property is improved, the fiber bundle is strongly tightened and thus becomes hard.

Therefore, in the polyester spun yarn 10 according to an embodiment, it is important that the binding fibers 11a are wound around the remaining PET short fibers 11b at an inclination angle of 30 degrees or less with respect to the longitudinal direction of the fiber bundle 12. . The “inclination angle” is an angle θ formed by the AA line and the BB line shown in FIG. By winding at an inclination angle of 30 degrees or less, the balance between anti-pilling properties and hardness is maintained, and in addition to anti-pilling properties, cotton aesthetics and cotton texture are also obtained. The inclination angle is preferably 27 degrees or less, and more preferably 20 to 26 degrees. The inclination angle (angle θ) is obtained by measuring the angle of each bundled fiber 11a with respect to the longitudinal direction of the fiber bundle 22 and calculating the average.

On the other hand, the conventional polyester spun yarn 20 as shown in FIG. 2 is wound so that the bundling fiber 21a, which is a part of the fiber bundle 22, tightly clamps the remaining PET short fibers 21b. That is, the remaining PET short fibers have a binding fiber 21a at an inclination angle exceeding 30 degrees with respect to the longitudinal direction of the fiber bundle 22 (angle θ ′ formed by the A′-A ′ line and the B′-B ′ line). It is wound around 21b. When it is wound at an inclination angle exceeding 30 degrees, an anti-pilling property can be obtained, but the fiber bundle becomes hard due to being tightened too much, and the aesthetics of cotton and the texture of cotton cannot be obtained.

The polyester spun yarn 10 according to one embodiment is obtained by subjecting two or more different PET staple fibers to bond spinning. At that time, by setting the spinning speed to be relatively high, the inclination angle of the bundled fibers tends to be 30 degrees or less. The specific spinning speed for setting the inclination angle of the binding fibers to 30 degrees or less is appropriately set according to the thickness of the fiber bundle, the number of binding fibers, the spinning machine used, and the like. For example, when obtaining a 30th polyester spun yarn, it is possible to substantially reduce the inclination angle of the bundled fibers to 30 degrees or less by performing coupled spinning at a spinning speed of 400 m / min or more.

In the polyester spun yarn 10 according to one embodiment, the number of PET short fibers 11 constituting the fiber bundle 12 and the number of bundling fibers 11a are not particularly limited. For example, the number of PET short fibers 11 and the number of bundling fibers 11a may be set so that the polyester spun yarn 10 has a general yarn count (for example, 10 to 40 count).

The woven or knitted fabric obtained using the polyester spun yarn 10 according to one embodiment thus obtained has excellent anti-pilling property and cotton aesthetics in addition to excellent wettability and handling properties of the polyester fiber. Satisfies the texture of cotton. Therefore, the polyester spun yarn 10 according to an embodiment is suitably used for clothing such as T-shirts, underwear, casual wear, trekking wear, and sports wear.

EXAMPLES Hereinafter, although an Example and a comparative example are given and this invention is demonstrated concretely, this invention is not limited to this Example.

First, the side surface of the obtained polyester spun yarn was photographed by observing with a scanning electron microscope (magnification 70 to 90 times). The scanning electron microscope used is “S-3400N” manufactured by Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation.
