【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は閉鎖体に関し、特に一体
のヒンジによって閉鎖体の残部に連結されたキャップを
含む形式の閉鎖体に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、閉鎖体が一体のヒンジによって容
器に連結された、容器の閉鎖体を提供することが提案さ
れてきた。在来、このような閉鎖体はスナップ作用を生
じさせるのに、ヒンジの張力に頼っている。代表的な構
造は、米国特許第３，６２８，２１５号、同第３，６２
９，９０１号、同第３，９３３，２７１号、同第４，０
４７，４９５号及び同第４，３８６，７１４号に示され
ている。米国特許第４，６３８，９１６号では、スナッ
プ型ヒンジキャップ付きの閉鎖体は、容器の開放首部と
一体をなすようになった第１部分と、キャップを形成す
る第２部分と、第１部分と第２部分とを相互に連結する
一体のヒンジとからなり、第１部分及び第２部分の各々
はベース壁と周囲スカートとを備える。一対のヒンジス
トラップがスカートから延び、そして一体のヒンジの両
側に位置決めされる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】一対のヒンジストラッ
プの半径方向長さは、第２部分のキャップが第１部分に
対して閉鎖位置に又は閉鎖位置から移動する円弧の長さ
よりも短く、従って、一対のストラップは伸びてばねと
して機能する。一対のストラップの端は、スカートの周
囲の半径方向内方でスカートに取り付けられている。本
発明の目的は、性能の良好な寿命の長い、そして開閉
中、破れを引き起こすかもしれないような、ストラップ
に加わる過剰な応力を減じ、或いは除去し、かつ最少の
コストで作ることができるスナップ型ヒンジキャップ付
の閉鎖体を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明によれば、スナッ
プ型ヒンジキャップ付の閉鎖体は、容器の開放首部と一
体をなすようになった第１部分と、キャップを形成する
第２部分と、第１部分と第２部分とを相互に連結する一
体のヒンジとからなる。これらの部分の各々は、ベース
壁と、周囲スカートとを備える。一対のヒンジストラッ
プが一体のヒンジの両側でスカートから延びる。ストラ
ップの端は、第１部分及び第２部分が全開位置にあると
き、真っ直ぐで、実質的に同じ平面に位置する。各スト
ラップは、平面の外に延びる部分を端と端の中間に有す
る。各ストラップは、第１部分及び第２部分が全開位置
にあるとき張力を受けない。ストラップの中間部分は一
方向に軸線方向に延びる。１つの形態では、前記ストラ
ップの中間部分は断面が湾曲している。他の形態では、
前記ストラップの中間部分は断面がＶ形状をなしてい
る。

【発明の実施の形態】図１ー７を参照すると、本発明を
具体化する閉鎖体１０はポリプロピレンのようなプラス
チックで作られ、そして容器の首部に螺合されるように
なった第１部分１１と、キャップを形成する第２部分１
２と、第１部分１１と第２部分１２とを連結する一体の
ヒンジ１３とからなる。第１部分は、ベース壁１４と、
周囲スカート１５とを含み、ベース壁１４と周囲スカー
ト１５との接合部には肩１６がある。環状の口１７がベ
ース壁１４の外面から延び、面取りリム１７ａで終わっ
ている。口１７の内面には環状ビード１８が形成されて
いる。スカート１５には、その内面に、容器の首部のネ
ジ山と螺合する雌ネジ山１９が形成されている。口１７
は、閉鎖体を付ける容器の内容物のための小出し出口を
なす。第２部分即ちキャップ部分１２にはベース壁２０
と周囲スカート２１とが形成されている。スカート２１
の自由縁が肩１６に係合する用になっている。ベース壁
２０の内面には円筒壁２２が設けられ、この円筒壁は、
キャップを閉鎖位置に移動させたとき、口１７に嵌まり
込むようになっている。リブ１８が円筒壁２２と摩擦嵌
めを行って容器の内容物に対してシールを保証し、また
口から内容物をきれいに取り除く。摩擦嵌めは又、第２
部分を閉鎖位置に固定する。
【０００６】一体のヒンジ１３は、安定性を与えるため
に幅の数倍の長さを有する。ヒンジ１３の上面は肩１６
及びスカート２１の自由縁の平面にある。ヒンジ１３の
下側は半径方向断面が逆Ｖの形態をなしている。ヒンジ
ストラップ２５がヒンジ１３の各側に１つずつ設けられ
ている。一体のヒンジ１３の長さはストラップ２５の各
々の幅の数倍である。各ストラップ２５は第１部分１１
の凹部２６と第２部分１２の凹部２７との間に延びてい
る。各ストラップ２５の端は、図４で見たとき、凹部２
６、２７に水平に連結される。各ストラップ２５は、操
作中、即ち第２部分１２を第１部分に対して開閉する
際、ストラップが伸びる。各ストラップの端は、第１部
分１１及び第２部分１２が全開位置にあるとき、真っ直
ぐで、同じ平面に位置する。この位置では、各ストラッ
プ２５の中間部分２５ａは平面の外に軸線方向に延び、
ここでは、上方に湾曲して示されている（図３，４）。
図８ー１０に示す変形形態では、対応する部分を、サフ
ックス「ａ」で指定してある。この形態は、各ストラッ
プの中間部分２５ｂが断面Ｖ形をなし、下方に延びてい
る点で相違する。
【０００７】かくして、性能の良好な寿命の長い、そし
て開閉中、破れを引き起こすかもしれないような、スト
ラップに加わる過剰な応力を減じ、或いは除去し、かつ
最少のコストで作ることができるスナップ型ヒンジキャ
ップ付の閉鎖体を提供していることが分かる。

Claims (6)

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 容器の開放首部と一体をなすようになっ
    た第１部分と、 キャップを形成する第２部分と、 第１部分と第２部分とを相互に連結する一体のヒンジと
    からなり、 前記部分の各々は、ベース壁と、周囲スカートとを備
    え、 一対のヒンジストラップが前記スカートに取り付けら
    れ、且つ一体のヒンジの両側でスカートから延び、 各前記ストラップは、前記スカートとの取り付け箇所の
    間の長さ全体にわたって一様な断面を有し、 前記ストラップと第１及び第２部分との連結平面が前記
    ヒンジと第１及び第２部分との連結平面からずらされて
    おり、 前記ストラップは、その両端に真っ直ぐな端部分を有し
    ており、前記両方の端部分は、第１部分及び第２部分が
    全開位置にあるときに、実質的に同じ平面内に位置し、 各前記ストラップは、前記第１部分及び第２部分の開閉
    中、その長さに沿って伸ばされ、 各前記ストラップは、第１部分及び第２部分が全開位置
    にあるとき、前記両方の端部分の中間に、前記平面の外
    に延びる部分を有しており、 各前記ストラップは、第１部分及び第２部分が全開位置
    にあるとき、張力を受けない、スナップ型ヒンジキャッ
    プ付の閉鎖体。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記ストラップの前記中間部分は、第１
    部分及び第２部分が全開位置にあるとき、前記平面の外
    の軸線方向下向き方向又は軸線方向上向き方向に軸線方
    向に延びる、請求項１に記載の閉鎖体。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記ストラップの前記中間部分は、前記
    中間部分の長さに沿って断面が湾曲している、請求項２
    に記載の閉鎖体。
  4. 【請求項４】 前記ストラップの前記中間部分は、前記
    中間部分の長さに沿って断面がＶ形状をなしている、請
    求項２に記載の閉鎖体。
  5. 【請求項５】 各前記ストラップの端は、前記第１部分
    の前記スカート及び前記第２部分の前記スカートに水平
    に連結されている、請求項１から請求項４のいずれか１
    項に記載の閉鎖体。
  6. 【請求項６】 前記第１部分の前記スカート及び前記第
    ２部分の前記スカートは凹部を有し、前記ストラップの
    端は前記凹部内に取り付けられている、請求項５に記載
    の閉鎖体。
