Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、限定的ではないが、特に大腿骨ヘッドを臀
部プロテーゼの対応する部品上に取り付けるための装置
に関する。
この種の移植片は公知であって、一般的には大腿骨の
中央髄管に挿入されるステムと、球状大腿骨ヘッドを受
容する態様のネックとを備えている。多くの場合にこの
大腿骨ヘッドは、ステムのネックのそれと相補的な凹部
を有する。ヘッド及びネックの凹部はテーパ形であるこ
とが極めて多い。
外科手術の際には医師が大腿骨ヘッドをステムのネッ
ク上に位置決めするが、これは多数の問題点を惹起す
る。
まず、ヘッドは球状であるので、取り扱いが困難であ
る。外科医は湿性手袋（moist gloves）をはめ、これが
血液で覆われることが多く、取り扱いはより困難とな
る。即ち、滑ったり、その結果ヘッドを落として損傷さ
せる危険性がある。
外科医がヘッドを落とさなくとも、この種の処置は、 ステンレススチールは極めて容易に引掻きされ得るこ
とからヘッドの表面仕上げを損傷する危険性があるこ
と、 ヘッドがプロテーゼのネック上に取り付けられた後に
内側に閉じ込められるであろう種々の夾雑物がヘッドの
凹部内に導入される危険性があること、及び その凹部がネックの前方にくるように大腿骨ヘッドを
回転させる必要があることから、既に髄管内に導入され
たプロテーゼのネック上にヘッドを取り付けることが難
しい といった問題点を生じる。
更に、前記ヘッドが位置決めされる以前にこれらを完
全に殺菌するいかなる手段が先に取られていたとして
も、かかる処置手術はヘッドの無菌性を強度に危険に暴
すことが理解される。
本発明は、プロテーゼ部品、特に大腿骨ヘッドを取り
付けるための装置を提供することにより、単純で且つ効
果的に上記欠点を解消することを目的とする。
上記問題点のうちでヘッドについての全ての直接的な
取り扱いを控えるために、この装置は、その一部がプロ
テーゼ部品を一時的に受容するような態様にされており
且つ他の部分が、前記プロテーゼ部品をその相補的部品
上に位置決めする際に前記プロテーゼ部品を押し出すよ
うな手段を有するボディを備えている。
更に本発明は、前記ヘッドのためのパッケージとして
作用することにより、プロテーゼネック上に取り付けら
れる前にヘッドを装置内部に予め設置し、それによって
無菌要求を固守できることで前記問題点を解消しようと
している。
かかる問題は、ボディのプロテーゼ部品を一時的に受
容するような態様の部分が、前記プロテーゼ部品を保護
するために、取り外し可能にプラグ部品と協働すること
で解消される。
そうしてこの場合は、球状ヘッドまたは他のプロテー
ゼ部品の補助的位置決め手段及びパッケージの両方とし
て作用する装置全体を１つまたは幾つかの予め殺菌され
たシェル内に封入することができる。
前記問題点を解消するうちでプロテーゼ部品を一時的
に保持するためには、ボディのプロテーゼ部品を受容す
る部分は、前記プロテーゼ部品を一時的に位置決めし且
つ保持し、一方で、プロテーゼ部品をそれに与えられた
力の作用下に押し出すことができる態様の内部チャンバ
で構成される。
前記問題点を解消するうちで作業員の手と直接に接触
せずともプロテーゼ部品を自動的に取り付けるために
は、押出し手段は、ボディ内で自由に滑動し且つその一
端が部品に当接することにより協働するように形成され
ている押しボタンで構成される。
有利には、ボディの側部は、母線部とそれに続く支持
カラーとで形成される周囲凹部で構成される。
組み立てる際プロテーゼ部品が対応する相補的プロテ
ーゼ部品の前方にくるように、プロテーゼ部品を装置内
に予め設置する問題は、プラグ部品が、プロテーゼ部品
をボディのチャンバ内に挿入する際にプロテーゼ部品の
一部と協働する内部担持面を有することで解消される。
以下、添付の図面を参照し本発明をより詳細に説明す
る。
実施例 本発明の目的は、添付の図面の参照及び以下の非限定
的な説明からより明らかになるであろう。
種々の図面は、本発明の装置の大腿骨ヘッドＴをステ
ムのネックＣ上に取り付ける適用を示す。
全体がＡで示されたこの装置は、その一部が球状大腿
骨ヘッドＴを受容するようにされたボディ１を備えてい
る。一般的には円筒形のこの装置のボディ１は、ヘッド
Ｔを収容するための内部チャンバ1aを有する。
このチャンバ1aの開口は特に、ヘッドＴを一時的に保
持し、一方で直接にまたは組立てによって、ヘッドＴに
与えられた力の作用下にヘッドＴが押し出され得るよう
に形成された部分1bを有する。例えば、チャンバ1aの開
口端部は、ボスまたは同様の断面の把持部分を有するこ
とができる。
チャンバ1aに対して軸方向に、ボディ１には押しボタ
ン２が自由に滑動するように取り付けられている。押し
ボタン２の端部はチャンバ1a内に突出していて、球状プ
ロテーゼ部品Ｔに当接するようなヘッド2aを有する。押
しボタン２の他方の端部は、ボディ１の側部と組み合わ
せて操作され得るようにボディ１の外側に突出してい
る。例えば、ボディ１の側部は、該装置を一方の手で握
持し且つ押しボタン２を押すために、母線部とそれに続
く支持カラー1dとで形成された周囲凹部1cを有する。
所望であれば、押しボタン２は弾性戻り手段によって
押すことができる。
本発明の別の重要な特徴では、装置のボディ１はチャ
ンバ1aにおいて、前記チャンバ1a内に収容されたヘッド
Ｔを保護するために、取り外し可能にプラグ部品３を受
容する。
この部品３は、ボディ１の対応する部分上にねじ込み
されるキャップで構成することができる。これには、ク
リップ、プレス嵌め等の他の取り外し可能な態様の取付
け具も対象外ではない。
キャップ３の内腔は、球状ヘッドＴにもともと設けら
れている凹部Taと協働するための内部担持面3aを有す
る。この構成によって、凹部TaがステムのネックＣの前
方に一直線に置かれ得るように、ヘッドＴを装置内部に
予め設置することができる。
有利なことに第２図に示した実施態様においては、キ
ャップ３が取り付けられた装置１の全体はヘッドＴのた
めのパッケージであり且つヘッドＴの補助取付け具とな
る。更に、装置全体は１つまたは幾つかの適当に殺菌さ
れたシェル内に封入され得る。これは、特に有利な用途
を有することを表す。
例えば、外科医の補助員は、殺菌シェル（図示なし）
から該装置を取り出した後にキャップ３を取り外し（第
３図）、ヘッドＴが取り付けられた装置Ａを外科医に渡
す。そうすると、外科医は装置を完全に且つ容易に受容
することができ、それをヘッドＴためのネックＣの前方
に置くだけでよい。ヘッドＴの内部凹部TaはネックＣと
一直線に向けられており、押しボタン２のスラスト作用
下にネックの相補的部分の上にほとんど自動的に位置決
めされたヘッドＴが押出されるように、力F1及びF2が押
しボタン２及びカラー1dに与えられる。
上記説明から本発明の長所は明らかであるが、特に、 ヘッドと直接接触せずに取付けることができるので無
菌性を変性することがないこと、 プロテーゼ上へ移植する際の殺菌包装シェルからの取
り出し時間が節約されること が強調される。
装置全体は任意の材料で製造することができ、使い捨
て部品にも再使用可能な部品にもすることができる。

Claims (6)

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】その一部がプロテーゼ部品を一時的に受容
    する態様にされており且つ他の部分が、前記プロテーゼ
    部品をその相補的部品上に位置決めする際に該プロテー
    ゼ部品を押し出すような手段を有するボディを備えてい
    るプロテーゼ部品を取付けるための装置。
  2. 【請求項２】前記ボディのプロテーゼ部品を一時的に受
    容する態様の部分が、前記プロテーゼ部品を保護するた
    めに、取り外し可能にプラグ部品と協働する請求項１に
    記載の装置。
  3. 【請求項３】前記ボディのプロテーゼ部品を受容する部
    品が、該プロテーゼ部品を一時的に位置決めし且つ保持
    する態様の内部チャンバで構成されており、それによっ
    て前記プロテーゼ部品が、それに与えられた力の作用下
    に押し出され得る請求項１に記載の装置。
  4. 【請求項４】押出し手段が、前記ボディ内を自由に滑動
    し且つその一方の端部が、前記プロテーゼ部品に当接す
    ることにより協働するように形成されている押しボタン
    で構成されており、前記押しボタンが前記ボディの側部
    と組み合わされて操作される請求項１から３のいずれか
    一項に記載の装置。
  5. 【請求項５】前記ボディの側部が、母線部とそれに続く
    支持カラーで形成された周囲凹部で構成されている請求
    項４に記載の装置。
  6. 【請求項６】前記プラグ部品が、前記プロテーゼ部品を
    前記ボディのチャンバ内で中心合わせすることで該プロ
    テーゼ部品と協働する内部部品を有する請求項２に記載
    の装置。
