【考案の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】本考案は、可動接触片を備えた受
接続端子に嵌合する挿込接続端子に関するものである。

【従来の技術】通常、図４に示すように挿込接続端子の
挿入端１は、１枚の導電金属板から折り曲げられて接合
面１ａを有して平刃状に形成されている。このような挿
入端１の先端には面取り１ｂが施され、図示しない相手
側の受接続端子に容易に嵌合できるようになっている。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら上述した
従来例では、挿入端１が受接続端子に嵌合する際に受接
続端子の一部に衝合する。多極コネクタ等において挿入
端１が高密度に配列された場合には、合成された衝撃力
が極めて大きいものとなり、挿入に相当な力を要するこ
とが多い。
【０００４】本考案の目的は、上述した問題点を解消
し、少ない衝撃力で嵌合できる挿込接続端子の挿入端を
提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上述の目的を達成するた
めの本考案に係る挿込接続端子は、相手側の受接続端子
に挿入する挿込接続端子の接続部を、導電金属板から成
る底板の両側を折り曲げて前記底板に折り重ねた二重構
造とし、前記接続部の先端部に先端に向けて開口を有す
る「コ」字型の切開部を形成し、該切開部内に前記底板
から弯曲部を有する弾性突片を斜め上方に向けて延出し
たことを特徴とする。

【作用】上述の構成を有する挿込接続端子は、相手側の
受接続端子に嵌合する際に弾性突片が最初に受接続端子
に衝合して衝撃力を緩和する。

【実施例】本考案を図１〜図３に図示の実施例に基づい
て詳細に説明する。図１は挿込接続端子の斜視図、図２
はその縦断面図であり、挿込接続端子の挿込端１１は、
１枚の導電金属板が上板１２、底板１３、底板１３から
延長された弾性突片１４を有するように打ち抜かれ、更
に折り曲げられることにより平刃状に形成され、その先
端部には面取り１１ａが施され、図示しない相手側の受
接続端子に容易に嵌合できるようになっている。
【０００８】そして、上板１２の先端中央は本体部１１
ｂの方向に切り開かれ、弾性突片１４がその基部１４ａ
から立ち上げられるようになっている。弾性突片１４は
基部１４ａから上方に緩やかに立ち上げられ、途中で下
方に折り曲げられて弯曲部１４ｂが形成さればね性を付
与されている。弾性突片１４の先端の自由端１４ｃは、
挿込端１１の先端部よりも稍々前部に突出され、上板１
２と略同等の高さに位置付けられている。
【０００９】このような構成により、挿込接続端子の挿
入端１１が図３に示すように相手側の受接続端子１５に
挿入されると、先ず弾性突片１４の自由端１４ｃが受接
続端子１５の可動接触片１６に衝合する。このとき、弾
性突片１４は下方に弾性変形し、衝合により発生する衝
撃力が緩和される。また、弾性突片１４は無理なく曲げ
られ、挿込端１１が可動接触片１６と弾性接触部１７の
間に容易に嵌合される。

【考案の効果】以上説明したように本考案に係る挿込接
続端子は、受接続端子に衝合する際の衝撃力が弾性突片
により緩和される。

    (57)【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 相手側の受接続端子に挿入する挿込接続
    端子の接続部を、導電金属板から成る底板の両側を折り
    曲げて前記底板に折り重ねた二重構造とし、前記接続部
    の先端部に先端に向けて開口を有する「コ」字型の切開
    部を形成し、該切開部内に前記底板から弯曲部を有する
    弾性突片を斜め上方に向けて延出したことを特徴とする
    挿込接続端子。
