Abstract
Description
したがって、上述した問題を解決するために、当該技術分野では高温保存の際に副反応を抑制することができる堅固なSEI層を形成するための研究が続いており、その一環として電解液内の添加剤に対する研究も持続している。
前記Rは被膜形成に役立つ官能基であり、H、C、N、O、F、P、S及びSiの何れか一つ以上の元素を含む鎖型または環形構造の官能基である。

以下では、本発明によるリチウム二次電池について説明する。
前記正極は正極集電体上に正極活物質、電極用バインダー、電極導電材及び溶媒などを含む正極活物質スラリーをコーティングして製造することができる。また、前記正極は正極活物質に基づく層状構造を持つことができる。
また、前記負極は、負極集電体上に負極活物質、電極用バインダー、電極導電材及び溶媒などを含む負極活物質スラリーをコーティングして製造することができる。一方、前記負極は金属負極集電体自体を電極で使用することができる。
前記分離膜としては従来分離膜で使われた通常的な多孔性高分子フィルム、例えば、エチレン単独重合体、プロピレン単独重合体、エチレン/ブテン共重合体、エチレン/ヘキセン共重合体及びエチレン/メタクリレート共重合体などのようなポリオレフィン系高分子で製造した多孔性高分子フィルムを単独で、またはこれらを積層して使用することができ、または通常的な多孔性不織布、例えば高融点のガラス繊維、ポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維などからなる不織布を使用することができるが、これに限定されるものではない。
実施例1
正極活物質としてLi(Ni0.85Mn0.08Co0.05Al0.02)O2、導電材としてカーボンブラック、バインダーとしてPVDFを97.6:1.2:1.2(正極活物質:導電材:バインダー)の重量比で準備した後、N‐メチルピロリドン溶媒の中で混合して正極活物質スラリーを製造した。製造された正極活物質スラリーをアルミニウム集電体(15μm)の一面に塗布した後(ローディング量:0.40~0.55 mg/25cm2)、130℃で20分以上乾燥後、孔隙率24%になるように1~2回圧延して正極を製造した。
電解液でリン酸系添加剤を1重量%添加したことを除いては実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
電解液でリン酸系添加剤を3重量%添加したことを除いては実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
電解液において化学式1でRが全てFであるリン酸系添加剤を使用したことを除いては実施例2と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
電解液で化学式1でRが全てCF3であるリン酸系添加剤を使用したことを除いては実施例2と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
電解液でリン酸系添加剤を5重量%添加したことを除いては実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
電解液でリン酸系添加剤を添加していないことを除いては実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
実験例:高温性能測定
実施例1~6と比較例1で製造されたリチウム二次電池を4.2Vの電圧条件下で、SOC 100%(2000mAh)まで充電を実施した。以後、60℃恒温チャンバに8週間高温保存した後、容量維持率(%)、抵抗増加率(%)及び体積増加率(%)を測定して、下記表1に示す。
容量維持率(%)=(N週目容量)/(初期容量)×100
抵抗=(放電パルス前後の電圧差)/(放電時の電流)
抵抗増加率(%)=(N週目抵抗‐初期抵抗)/(初期抵抗)×100
体積増加率(%)=(N週目体積‐初期体積)/(初期体積)×100
Claims (10)
- リチウム塩、有機溶媒及び下記化学式1で表されるリン酸系添加剤を含むリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液:
前記Rは被膜形成に役立つ官能基であり、H、C、N、O、F、P、S及びSiの何れか一つ以上の元素を含む鎖型または環形構造の官能基である。 - 前記Rが、互いに同一であるか異なり、それぞれ独立に水素、ハロゲン、ヒドロキシ、シアノ、ニトロ、置換または非置換されたアミノ、置換または非置換されたメルカプト、置換または非置換されたカルバモイル、置換または非置換されたC1‐7アルキル、置換または非置換されたC1‐7ハロゲン化アルキル、置換または非置換されたC2‐7アルケニル、置換または非置換されたC2‐7アルキニル、置換または非置換されたC1‐7アルコキシ、置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルコキシ‐C1‐4アルコキシ、置換または非置換されたC6‐10アリール‐C1‐4アルコキシ、置換または非置換されたC2‐7アルケニルオキシ、置換または非置換されたC2‐7アルキニルオキシ、置換または非置換されたC3‐7シクロアルキル、置換または非置換されたC3‐7シクロアルケニル、置換または非置換された3‐7員ヘテロシクロアルキル、置換または非置換されたC3‐7シクロアルキルオキシ、置換または非置換されたC3‐7シクロアルケニルオキシ、置換または非置換された3‐7員ヘテロシクロアルキルオキシ、置換または非置換されたC6‐10アリール、置換または非置換された5‐10員ヘテロアリール、置換または非置換されたC6‐10アリールオキシ、置換または非置換された5‐10員ヘテロアリールオキシ、置換または非置換されたモノ‐またはジ‐C1‐4アルキルアミノ、置換または非置換されたモノ‐またはジ‐C6‐10アリールアミノ、置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルキルカルボニルアミノ、置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルキルカルボニル、置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルコキシカルボニル、置換または非置換されたC2‐4アルケニルオキシカルボニル、及び置換または非置換されたC2‐4アルキニルオキシカルボニルからなる群から選択されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液。
- 前記Rが互いに同一であるか異なり、それぞれ独立に水素、ハロゲン、ヒドロキシ、シアノ、ニトロ、置換または非置換されたアミノ、置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルキル、置換または非置換されたC1‐4ハロゲン化アルキル、置換または非置換されたC2‐4アルケニル、置換または非置換されたC2‐4アルキニル、置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルコキシ、置換または非置換されたモノ‐またはジ‐C1‐4アルキルアミノ、置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルキルカルボニル、及び置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルコキシカルボニルからなる群から選択されたことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液。
- 前記Rが互いに同一であるか異なり、それぞれ独立に水素、ハロゲン、置換または非置換されたC1‐4アルキル、置換または非置換されたC1‐4ハロゲン化アルキル、及び置換または非置換されたC2‐4アルケニルからなる群から選択されたことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液。
- 前記リン酸系添加剤が電解液全体重量に対して0.01重量%~10重量%含まれることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液。
- 前記リチウム塩がLiCl、LiBr、LiI、LiBF4、LiClO4、LiB10Cl10、LiAlCl4、LiAlO4、LiPF6、LiCF3SO3、LiCH3CO2、LiCF3CO2、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiCH3SO3、LiSO3F、LiN(SO2F)2、LiN(SO2CF2CF3)2及びLiN(SO2CF3)2からなる群から選択されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液。
- 前記リチウム塩の濃度が0.1M~3Mであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液。
- 前記有機溶媒がエーテル、エステル、アミド、線形カーボネート、及び環形カーボネートからなる群から選択された1種以上を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液。
- 正極、負極、前記正極と前記負極の間に介在される分離膜、及び請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のリチウム二次電池用非水系電解液を含む、リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極が正極活物質に基づく層状構造を持ち、遷移金属全体の中でニッケルの含有量が60atm%以上であるリチウム複合遷移金属酸化物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のリチウム二次電池。
