Abstract

To provide a knit shirt that can be used for formal occasions and is comfortable to wear around the neck.

Description

The present invention relates to a knit shirt having a shirt body consisting of a body and sleeves, and a collar consisting of a collar stand and collar feathers.

In recent years, advances in knitting technology have led to the development of knit materials and various knitting machines that are easy to cut and sew, and a wide variety of knit products are now on sale. One such knit product is the knit shirt, which is made entirely of knit and is widely worn due to its elasticity, comfortable fit, and wrinkle resistance. However, this knit shirt has the disadvantage that it is prone to losing its shape because the entire shirt is made of knit. In particular, if the collar loses its shape, it is unsuitable for formal use. In response to this, a knitted dress shirt described in Patent Document 1 has been proposed as a knit shirt with a collar made of woven fabric. In this dress shirt, the collar part (2) is made of woven fabric, so the collar part (2) is less likely to lose its shape and can be used for formal occasions.

However, in the dress shirt of Patent Document 1, the collar stand that comes into direct contact with the neck is made of woven fabric, which means that the neck area lacks elasticity and a good fit, creating problems with comfort.

The present invention was made in consideration of these conventional problems, and aims to provide a knit shirt that can be used for formal occasions while also being comfortable to wear around the neck.

In order to solve the above problem, the knit shirt according to claim 1 is characterized in that it has a shirt body consisting of a body and sleeves, a band-shaped collar stand that is attached to the upper end of the body and covers the neck, and a collar consisting of collar feathers that are sewn to the sewn part at the top of the collar stand and folded over the outside of the collar stand, the shirt body and the collar stand are knitted, the collar feathers are woven, the collar feathers are made of front and back collar feathers of the same shape that are overlapped and sewn at the outer periphery, and part or all of the sewn part of the collar stand is inserted and sewn between the front and back collar feathers.

The knit shirt according to claim 2 is characterized in that, in claim 1, the distance between the collar wing and the collar wing at the collar stand sewn part is 0 mm or more and 5 mm or less, and the distance between the collar stand and the collar wing sewing position where the collar stand and the collar wing are sewn and the tip of the collar stand inserted into the collar wing is 5 mm or more.

The knit shirt according to claim 5 is characterized in that, in any one of claims 1 to 4, a reinforcing cloth is sewn onto the surface of the collar stand.

The knit shirt according to claim 6 is characterized in that, in claim 5, a reinforcing cloth is sewn to the front side of the placket portion of the upper front body and the lower front body.

The knit shirt according to claim 7 is characterized in that, in claim 6, a reinforcing cloth is sewn to the back side of the placket portion of the upper front body.

The knit shirt according to claim 8 is characterized in that, in any one of claims 1 to 4, the shirt body is a seamless knit of a pullover type, and a placket made of fabric is sewn to the shirt body.

The knit shirt of claim 9 is characterized in that, in claim 8, a reinforcing cloth is sewn onto the surface of the collar stand.

In the knit shirt according to claim 1, the shirt body and the collar stand are knitted, and the collar feathers are woven. In this shirt, the collar stand that directly contacts the nape of the neck is made of knit, so that the neck area is stretchy and has a good fit, ensuring comfort. Embodiments 1 to 4 embodying the knit shirt of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. First, the knit shirt of embodiment 1 will be described. Fig. 1 is a front view of the knit shirt of embodiment 1. As shown in Fig. 1, this knit shirt is a pullover type shirt with three buttons 75a, and has a shirt body 70 and a collar 1. The shirt body 70 is made up of a body part 72 covering the waist and sleeves 71. The body part 72 is made up of a front body part 72a on the chest side and a back body part 72b on the back side, and the front body part 72a is made up of an upper front body part 74 with a buttonhole 74a (see Fig. 2) and a lower front body part 75 with a button 75a.

The collar 1 is composed of a collar stand 10 and collar wings 20. The collar stand 10 is belt-shaped and is provided in a ring shape at the upper end of the body 72 so as to cover the neck. The collar wings 20 are approximately belt-shaped and have collar tips 20a protruding outward at both ends. The collar wings 20 are sewn to the sewing part 12 (see FIG. 3) at the upper part of the collar stand 10 and folded back to the outside of the collar stand 10. In this knit shirt, the shirt body 70 and collar stand 10 are made of knit, and the collar wings 20 are made of woven fabric. In this way, the collar stand 10 that directly contacts the neck is made of knit, so that the neck can be stretched and fitted. In addition, the collar wings 20 are made of woven fabric, so that they are less likely to lose their shape. The collar stand 10 may be knitted together with the body 72 as an integral part, or may be manufactured separately and sewn to the body 72.

In addition, a reinforcing cloth 5a made of fabric is sewn onto the surface of the collar stand 10. This prevents the collar stand 10 from losing its shape and makes it easier to tie a necktie. Furthermore, a reinforcing cloth 6a made of fabric is sewn onto the front side of the placket portion 73 of the upper front body 74. This prevents the placket portion 73 from losing its shape and also adds an accent to improve the design. Here, FIG. 2 shows the state where the button 75a is removed and the collar is open. The reinforcing cloth 7a is not sewn onto the back side of the placket portion 73 of the lower front body 75 in order not to impair the comfort of the knit.

Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view showing in detail the state in which the collar wing 20 is sewn to the collar stand 10. As shown in Figure 3, the collar stand 10 is composed of the collar stand main body 11 that covers the neck area, and the sewn part 12 that is folded back to the outside of the collar stand main body 11 at the folding position P1 at the top end of the collar stand main body 11. The collar wing 20 is composed of the front collar wing 21, which is the front side, and the back collar wing 22, which is the back side, both of which have the same shape. The front collar wing 21 and the back collar wing 22 are overlapped, and part or all of the sewn part 12 is inserted between them from one end 21b, 22b, and sewn together at the outer periphery 21a, 22a. This provides an excellent design because the tip 12a of the sewn part 12 of the collar stand 10 is not exposed from the outside.

The distance D1 between the fold-back position P1 and the ends 21b, 22b of the collar 20 is 0 mm or more and 5 mm or less. However, the distance D1 is measured with the fold-back position P1 as the reference and the direction of the tip 12a of the sewn part 12 as the positive direction. Therefore, when the distance D1 is greater than 0 mm, a part of the sewn part 12 is inserted between the front collar 21 and the back collar 22, and as shown in FIG. 3, the ends 21b, 22b of the collar 20 are in the sewn part 12. When the distance D1 is 0 mm, the entire sewn part 12 is inserted between the front collar 21 and the back collar 22, and the ends 21b, 22b of the collar 20 are in the fold-back position P1. Furthermore, when the distance D1 is less than 0 mm, the entire sewn portion 12 and part of the collar stand body 11 are inserted between the front collar 21 and the back collar 22, and one end 21b, 22b of the collar 20 is in the collar stand body 11.

If the distance D1 is less than 0 mm, the collar feathers 20 made of fabric come into direct contact with the neck, making it difficult to obtain sufficient elasticity and fit around the neck. If the distance D1 is greater than 5 mm, the area of the sewn portion 12 from the fold position P1 to the ends 21b, 22b of the collar feathers 20 becomes too large, making the collar 1 more likely to lose its shape. Therefore, by setting the distance between the fold position P1 and the collar feathers 20 to 0 mm or more and 5 mm or less, it is possible to ensure comfort around the neck and prevent the collar 1 from losing its shape. If the distance D1 is 0 mm or more and 3 mm or less, even greater effects can be obtained.

The distance D2 between the collar sewn position P2 where the collar stand 10 and collar wing 20 are sewn and the tip 12a of the sewn part 12 inserted into the collar wing 20 is 5 mm or more. Because the sewn part 12 is inserted and sewn between the front collar wing 21 and the back collar wing 22, the sewn part 12 inserted between the front collar wing 21 and the back collar wing 22 cannot be directly seen from the outside during sewing. Therefore, if this distance D2 is less than 5 mm, it may not be possible to reliably sew the collar stand 10 and collar wing 20 together.

In the knit shirt of the first embodiment, the shirt body 70 and the collar stand 10 are knitted, and the collar feathers 20 are woven. In this shirt, the collar stand 10 that directly contacts the neck is made of knitted material, so that the collar has elasticity and a good fit around the neck, ensuring comfort. In addition, the collar feathers 20 that are folded over the outside of the collar stand 10 are made of woven material, so that they are less likely to lose their shape and can be worn for formal occasions. Furthermore, the collar feathers 20 are composed of the front collar feathers 21 and the back collar feathers 22 of the same shape, which are overlapped and sewn at the outer periphery 21c, 22c, and part or all of the sewn part 12 of the collar stand 10 is inserted and sewn between the front collar feathers 21 and the back collar feathers 22. As a result, part or all of the sewn part 12 of the collar stand 10 is not visible from the outside, and the design is excellent. Therefore, this knit shirt can be used for formal occasions while improving comfort around the neck.

In addition, in this knit shirt, the distance D1 between the collar feathers 20 and the fold position P1 where the collar stand 10 is folded back at the sewn portion 12 of the collar stand 10 is 0 mm or more and 5 mm or less, ensuring comfort around the neck and preventing the collar 1 from losing its shape. Furthermore, since the fold position P1 is a knit that fits the neck nicely, the neck is less likely to rub against the fold position P1 and dirt is less likely to adhere to the fold position P1 compared to when the shirt is made of woven fabric.

Furthermore, in this knit shirt, the distance D2 between the collar sewn position P2 where the collar stand 10 and the collar wings 20 are sewn and the tip 12a of the collar stand 10 inserted into the collar wings 20 is 5 mm or more, so the collar stand 10 and the collar wings 20 can be sewn securely.

In addition, in this knit shirt, a reinforcing cloth 5a is sewn onto the surface of the collar stand 10, which prevents the collar stand 10 from losing its shape and makes it easier to tie the tie.

Next, the knit shirt of the second embodiment will be described. The knit shirt of the second embodiment is substantially the same as the knit shirt of the first embodiment, and is shown in Figs. 1 and 2. However, in the second embodiment, a collar stand 15 and a collar 2 are used instead of the collar stand 10 and collar 1 of the first embodiment. The method of sewing the collar wings 20 to the collar stand 15 is different from the method of sewing the collar wings 20 to the collar stand 10 in the first embodiment. The method of sewing the collar wings 20 to the collar stand 15 will be described below with reference to Fig. 4. However, the same reference numerals will be used for the same parts as in the first embodiment. As shown in Fig. 4, the collar stand 15 is composed of a collar stand main body 11 that covers the neck area, and a sewn part 17 that is folded back to the outside of the collar stand main body 11 at a folding position P4 at the upper end of the collar stand main body 11. Then, a part or the whole of the sewn part 17 is inserted from one end 21b, 22b of the collar 20, and the tip 17a of the sewn part 17 reaches the other end 21c, 22c of the collar 20, and is sewn together at the outer periphery 21a, 22a. In the knit shirt of this embodiment 2, the sewn part 17 is sandwiched between the entire front collar 21 and the back collar 22, which increases the strength of the collar 20. Other effects are the same as those of embodiment 1.

Next, the knit shirt of the third embodiment will be described. Figure 5 is a front view of the knit shirt of the third embodiment. As shown in Figure 5, this knit shirt is a front-opening shirt with buttons 85a, and has a shirt body 80 and a collar 3. The shirt body 80 is made up of a body part 82 that covers the waist and sleeves 81. The body part 82 is made up of a front body part 82a on the chest side and a back body part 82b on the back side, and the front body part 82a is made up of an upper front body part 84 with a buttonhole 84a (see Figure 6) and a lower front body part 85 with a button 85a.

The collar 3 is composed of a collar stand 30 and collar wings 40. The collar stand 30 is belt-shaped and is provided in a ring shape at the upper end of the body 82 so as to cover the neck. The collar wings 40 are approximately belt-shaped and have collar tips 40a protruding outward at both ends. The collar wings 40 are sewn to the sewing part 32 (see FIG. 7) at the upper part of the collar stand 30 and folded back to the outside of the collar stand 30. In this knit shirt, the shirt body 80 and collar stand 30 are made of knit, and the collar wings 40 are made of woven fabric. In this way, the collar stand 30 that directly contacts the neck is made of knit, so that the neck can be stretched and fitted. In addition, since the collar wings 40 are made of woven fabric, they are less likely to lose their shape. The collar stand 30 may be knitted together with the body 82 as an integral part, or may be manufactured separately and sewn to the body 82.

In addition, a reinforcing cloth 5b made of fabric is sewn to the surface of the collar stand 30. This prevents the collar stand 30 from losing its shape and makes it easier to tie a necktie. Furthermore, a reinforcing cloth 6b made of fabric is sewn to the front side of the placket portion 83 of the upper front body 84. Here, FIG. 6 shows the state in which the button 85a is removed and the placket portion 83 is opened. The reason why the reinforcing cloth 7b is not sewn to the back side of the placket portion 83 of the lower front body 85 is to avoid impairing the comfort of the knit.

Figure 7 is a cross-sectional view showing in detail the state in which the collar wings 40 are sewn to the collar stand 30. As shown in Figure 7, the collar stand 30 is composed of a collar stand main body 31 that covers the neck area, and a sewn part 32 that is folded back to the outside of the collar stand main body 31 at a folding position P3 at the upper end of the collar stand main body 31. Then, a part or all of the sewn part 32 is sewn to the outer periphery 40a while abutting the entire back surface 40d of the collar wings 40, that is, all of the collar wings 40 from one end 40b to the other end 40c. In addition, since the tip 32a of the sewn part 32 and the other end 40c of the collar wings 40 are sewn together while aligned, sewing can be done easily.

The distance D3 between the fold-back position P3 and one end 40b of the collar 40 is 0 mm or more and 5 mm or less. However, the distance D3 is measured with the fold-back position P3 as the reference and the direction of the tip 32a of the sewn part 32 as the positive direction. Therefore, when the distance D3 is greater than 0 mm, the collar 40 is sewn to a part of the sewn part 32, and one end 40b of the collar 40 is in the sewn part 32 as shown in FIG. 7. When the distance D3 is 0 mm, the collar 40 is sewn to the entire sewn part 32, and one end 40b of the collar 40 is in the fold-back position P3. Furthermore, when the distance D3 is less than 0 mm, the collar 40 is sewn to the entire sewn part 32 and a part of the collar stand body 31, and one end 40b of the collar 40 is in the collar stand body 31.

If the distance D3 is less than 0 mm, the collar fins 40 made of fabric come into direct contact with the neck, making it difficult to obtain sufficient elasticity and fit around the neck. If the distance D3 is greater than 5 mm, the area of the sewn portion 32 from the fold position P3 to one end 40b of the collar fins 40 becomes too large, making the collar 3 more likely to lose its shape. Therefore, by setting the distance between the fold position P3 and the collar fins 20 to 0 mm or more and 5 mm or less, it is possible to ensure comfort around the neck and prevent the collar 3 from losing its shape. If the distance D3 is greater than 0 mm and less than 3 mm, it is even more effective.

In the knit shirt of the third embodiment, the shirt body 80 and the collar stand 30 are knit, and the collar wings 40 are woven. In this shirt, the collar stand 30 that directly contacts the nape of the neck is made of knit, so it has elasticity and a good fit around the neck, ensuring a comfortable fit. In addition, the collar wings 40 that are folded back on the outside of the collar stand 30 are made of woven fabric, so they are less likely to lose their shape and can be worn for formal occasions. Furthermore, because part or all of the sewn part 32 of the collar stand 30 is sewn to the back surface 40d of the collar wings 40, it is possible to easily sew together part or all of the sewn part 32 of the collar stand 30 while checking it. Therefore, this knit shirt can be used for formal occasions while improving the comfort around the neck.

In addition, in this knit shirt, the distance D3 between the collar wing 40 and the fold position P3 where the collar stand 30 is folded back at the sewn portion 32 of the collar stand 30 is 0 mm or more and 5 mm or less, ensuring comfort around the neck and preventing the collar 3 from losing its shape. Furthermore, since the fold position P3 is a knit that fits the neck nicely, the neck is less likely to rub against the fold position P3 and dirt is less likely to adhere to the fold position P3 compared to when it is made of woven fabric. As shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, the knit shirt is a pullover type shirt with three buttons 57a and three buttonholes 56a, and has a shirt body 50, a collar 1, an upper placket 56, and a lower placket 57. The upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 are made of fabric, the upper placket 56 has a buttonhole 56a, and the lower placket 57 has a button 57a. In this way, since the upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 are made of fabric, it is possible to prevent the upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 from losing their shape, and it is possible to improve the design by adding an accent. The upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 are the "placket". Since the knit shirt of this embodiment includes the same components as the knit shirt of the first embodiment, the same reference numerals are used for the similar components, and the description thereof is omitted.

The shirt body 50 will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 10. The shirt body 50 is composed of a body 52 covering the waist, sleeves 51, and a collar stand 10 which is a part of the collar 1, and is a seamless knit in which these are knitted together from a single thread without any joints or seams. The body 52 is composed of a front body 52a on the chest side and a back body 52b on the back side, and the front body 52a is composed of an upper front body 54 and a lower front body 55. A slit 52c is provided vertically from the top end of the collar stand 10 to the bottom 52d at the top center of the front body 52a. The upper front body 54 near the slit 52c is the upper sewing part 54a, and the lower front body 55 near the slit 52c is the lower sewing part 55a. An upper placket 56 is sewn to the upper sewing part 54a, and a lower placket 57 is sewn to the lower sewing part 55a. In this way, the shirt body 50 is a seamless knit knitted from a single thread without any joints or seams, making it possible to produce a shirt body 50 that is gentle on the skin and has a soft texture. Furthermore, compared to conventional knit shirt manufacturing methods in which each part, such as the sleeves, front body, and back body, is manufactured and then sewn together, this method does not require cutting or sewing, making it possible to manufacture quickly, and it also eliminates cut losses and prevents wasteful disposal. In this embodiment, the shirt body 50 was knitted using a flat knitting machine MACH2XS153 manufactured by Shima Seiki Mfg. Co., Ltd.

As shown in FIG. 11, the upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 are made of a single piece of fabric folded back at creases 56e and 57e, and are made of surfaces 56a and 57a and back surfaces 56b and 57b in a substantially rectangular shape, with the sides opposite the creases 56e and 57e left open. A notch 56c is formed at the bottom end of the back surface 56b of the upper placket 56 opposite the crease 56e, and a bottom end 56d is formed between the notch 56c and the crease 56e. A notch 57c is formed at the bottom end of the front surface 57b of the lower placket 57 opposite the crease 57e, and a bottom end 57d is formed between the notch 57c and the crease 57e. The upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 can be made the same by making the back surface 56b of the upper placket 56 the front surface 57b of the lower placket 57.

Next, the method of sewing the upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 to the upper front body 54 and the lower front body 55 will be described with reference to Figures 12 to 15. First, the method of sewing the lower placket 57 will be described. As shown in Figure 12, the lower placket 57 is sewn to the lower front body 55 by sewing it to the lower sewing part 55a. In detail, as shown in Figure 13, the lower placket 57 is moved in the direction of arrow C from the opposite side of the fold 57e. Then, the lower sewing part 55a is sandwiched between the front surface 57a and the back surface 57b of the lower placket 57, and the entire lower placket 57 is arranged so that it is parallel to the slit 52c. At this time, the boundary between the notch part 57c and the lower end part 57d abuts against the bottom part 52d, and the notch part 57c is on the upper side of the lower front body 55, and the lower end part 57d is on the lower side of the upper front body 54. Then, the lower placket 57 is sewn to the lower front body 55 by sewing it at seam S1 at the lower sewing portion 55a.

Next, a method of sewing the upper placket 56 will be described. As shown in FIG. 14, the upper placket 56 is sewn to the upper front body 54 by being sewn to the upper sewing portion 54a. In detail, as shown in FIG. 15, the upper placket 56 is moved in the direction of the arrow D from the side opposite the fold 56e. Then, the upper sewing portion 54a is sandwiched between the front surface 56a and the back surface 56b of the upper placket 56, and the entire upper placket 56 is positioned so as to be parallel to the slit 52c. At this time, the boundary between the notch portion 56c and the lower end portion 56d abuts against the bottom portion 52d, and the notch portion 56c is on the lower side of the upper front body 54, and the lower end portion 56d is on the upper side of the upper front body 54. Then, the upper placket 56 is sewn to the upper front body 54 by sewing the upper placket 56 to the upper sewing portion 54a with the seam S2.

After the upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 are sewn to the upper front body 54 and the lower front body 55 as described above, the upper placket 56 is placed snugly on top of the lower placket 57 as shown in FIG. 16, and the lower ends of the upper placket 56 and the lower placket 57 are sewn together with seam S3. After that, a buttonhole 56a is made in the upper placket 56, and a button 57a is attached to the lower placket 57. Finally, the collar 1 is sewn on to complete the knit shirt shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9.

In the knit shirt of the fourth embodiment, the shirt body 50 is a seamless pullover knit, knitted from a single thread without any seams or joints, and no cutting or sewing is required. This not only makes it gentle on the skin, but also enables rapid production and eliminates waste. In addition, the upper placket 56 and lower placket 57 sewn to the shirt body 50 are made of woven fabric, which prevents the upper placket 56 and lower placket 57 from losing their shape and adds an accent to improve the design. Other effects are the same as those of the first embodiment. In this embodiment, the collar 1 of the first embodiment is used, but the collar 2 and 3 shown in the second and third embodiments may be used instead of the collar 1.

Although the knit shirt of the present invention has been described above in accordance with the embodiments, the present invention is not limited to these, and it goes without saying that appropriate modifications can be made and applied as long as they do not contradict the technical concept of the present invention. For example, a pullover type shirt has been described in the first and second embodiments, and a front-opening type shirt has been described in the third embodiment, but the present invention is not limited to these, and a front-opening type shirt may be used in the first and second embodiments, and a pullover type shirt may be used in the third embodiment.
