Abstract
Description
(1)情報提供装置10は、走行中の車両20の位置情報と、車両20の外部環境を測定する外界認識センサ32により出力された、測定エラーの発生を示す測定エラー情報とを含む走行情報と、道路地図を含む地図情報とを取得する情報取得部111と、情報取得部111により取得された走行情報と地図情報とに基づき、道路地図の所定領域内で降雪が発生したか否かを判定する判定部112と、判定部112の判定結果を道路地図に対応付けた情報を出力する出力部113と、を備える。判定部112は、地図情報と走行情報とに基づき車両20が所定領域内を走行しているときに測定エラーが発生したと認識すると、所定領域内において降雪が発生したと判定する。これにより、簡易な構成で精度よく降雪の情報をユーザに提供できる。また、このようして提供された降雪の情報に基づき、ユーザは、迂回をしたり、降雪に備えた事前準備(スタッドレスダイヤの装着)をしたりすることができ、交通の安全性を向上できる。
Claims (8)
- 走行中の車両の位置情報と、前記車両の外部環境を測定する車載センサにより出力された、測定エラーの発生を示す測定エラー情報とを含む走行情報を取得する走行情報取得部と、
道路地図を含む地図情報を取得する地図情報取得部と、
前記走行情報取得部により取得された前記走行情報と、前記地図情報取得部により取得された前記地図情報とに基づき、前記道路地図の所定領域内で降雪が発生したか否かを判定する判定部と、
前記判定部の判定結果を前記道路地図に対応付けた情報を出力する出力部と、を備え、
前記判定部は、前記地図情報と前記走行情報とに基づき前記車両が前記所定領域内を走行しているとき前記測定エラーが発生したと認識すると、前記所定領域内において降雪が発生したと判定することを特徴とする情報提供装置。 - 請求項1に記載の情報提供装置において、
前記走行情報はさらに、前記車両のワイパの作動状態を示す作動情報を含み、
前記判定部は、前記地図情報と前記走行情報とに基づき、前記所定領域を走行中の前記車両の前記ワイパが作動中であることを条件に、前記所定領域内で降雪が発生したか否かの判定を行うことを特徴とする情報提供装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の情報提供装置において、
前記測定エラー情報の信頼度を算出する算出部をさらに備え、
前記走行情報はさらに、前記車両の走行速度を示す速度情報を含み、
前記算出部は、前記速度情報により示される前記走行速度が低いほど前記信頼度を高く算出し、
前記判定部は、前記信頼度が所定程度以上であるとき、降雪が発生したと判定することを特徴とする情報提供装置。 - 請求項3に記載の情報提供装置において、
前記算出部は、前記速度情報に基づき検出される前記車両の停車状態が所定時間以上継続して検出されたとき、前記停車状態の継続時間が長いほど前記信頼度を低く算出することを特徴とする情報提供装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の情報提供装置において、
外気温又は予測された外気温を示す外気温情報を取得する外気温取得部を備え、
前記判定部は、前記外気温情報により示される前記所定領域内の温度が降雪の可能性を示す温度以下であることを条件に、前記走行情報と前記地図情報とに基づき前記所定領域内で降雪が発生したか否かの判定を行うことを特徴とする情報提供装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の情報提供装置において、
前記車載センサには、前記車両と前方車両および後方車両の少なくとも一方との車間距離を検知する車間距離認識センサが含まれ、
前記測定エラー情報には、前記車間距離認識センサによる車間距離の測定エラーの発生を示す情報が含まれることを特徴とする情報提供装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の情報提供装置において、
前記車載センサには、前記車両が走行中の道路の区画線を検知する区画線認識センサが含まれ、
前記測定エラー情報には、前記区画線認識センサによる区画線の測定エラーの発生を示す情報が含まれることを特徴とする情報提供装置。 - 請求項2に記載の情報提供装置において、
前記判定部は、前記地図情報と前記走行情報とに基づき、前記車両が前記所定領域内を走行しているとき、かつ、前記ワイパが停止しているときに前記測定エラーが発生したと認識すると、前記車両が走行中の道路に積雪が残っていると判定することを特徴とする情報提供装置。
