攪拌機、温度計、不活性ガス導入管、滴下漏斗および還流管を備えた反応容器に、初期溶剤としてジエチレングリコールジメチルエーテル291質量部を仕込み130℃まで昇温した。その後、メチルメタクリレート355.2質量部、n-ブチルメタクリレート231.6質量部、スチレン42.2質量部、2-ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート90.0質量部、及びメトキシポリエチレングリコールアクリレート(新中村化学製「AM-130G」)8.4質量部からなるモノマー混合液と、t-ブチルパーヒドロキシ2-エチルヘキサノエート33.7質量部及びジエチレングリコールジメチルエーテル33.7質量部からなる開始剤溶液を3時間かけて滴下し、3時間ホールドしたのち温度を下げ、不揮発分70.1質量%のアクリル重合体(A-1)の溶液を得た。
合成例1で使用した2-ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレートを表1の通りに変更した以外は、合成例1と同様にして、アクリル重合体(A-2)及び(A-3)を得た。

攪拌機、温度計、不活性ガス導入管および還流管を備えた反応容器に、イソホロンジイソシアネート416.7質量部、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート485.5質量部、ジブチルヒドロキシトルエン3.1質量部 、メトキノン0.3質量部を仕込み、80℃まで昇温し、2時間反応させた。その後、ジメチロールプロピオン酸125.7質量部を加えてさらに2時間反応させて、カルボキシル基及び2以上の(メタ)アクリロイル基を有するウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-1)を得た。
撹拌機、温度計、不活性ガス導入管および還流管を備えた反応容器に、イソホロンジイソシアネート416.7質量部、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート410.5質量部、ポリカーボネートジオール(旭化成株式会社製「デュラノールT5651」;以下「ポリカーボネートジオール(P-1)」と略記する。)150質量部、ジブチルヒドロキシトルエン3.1質量部 、メトキノン0.3質量部を仕込み、80℃まで昇温し、2時間反応させた。その後、ジメチロールプロピオン酸125.7質量部を加えてさらに2時間反応させて、カルボキシル基及び2以上の(メタ)アクリロイル基を有するウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-2)を得た。
攪拌機、温度計、不活性ガス導入管および還流管を備えた反応容器に、イソホロンジイソシアネート416.7質量部、イソシアヌル酸EO変性ジアクリレート485.5質量部、ジブチルヒドロキシトルエン3.1質量部 、メトキノン0.3質量部を仕込み、80℃まで昇温し、2時間反応させた。その後、ジメチロールプロピオン酸125.7質量部を加えてさらに2時間反応させて、カルボキシル基及び2以上の(メタ)アクリロイル基を有するウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-3)を得た。
合成例4で使用したペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート485.5質量部を2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート119.1質量部に変更した以外は合成例4と同様にして、ウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(RB-1)を得た。
攪拌機、温度計、不活性ガス導入管および還流管を備えた反応容器に、合成例1で得たアクリル重合体(A-1)溶液1085.8質量部、ウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-1)1031.3質量部、及びトリメチロールプロパントリアクリレートのエチレンオキサイド付加物228.0質量部を仕込み、80℃まで昇温、2時間反応させて、カルボキシル基及び2以上の(メタ)アクリロイル基を有する反応物(X-1)を得た。
次いで、トリエチルアミン75.7質量部を投入し、さらに水2219.1質量部を投入して、活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物(1)を得た。
実施例1で使用したアクリル重合体(A-1)をアクリル重合体(A-2)又は(A-3)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物(2)及び(3)を得た。
攪拌機、温度計、不活性ガス導入管および還流管を備えた反応容器に、合成例1で得たアクリル重合体(A-1)溶液1085.8質量部、ウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-1)1031.3質量部、ポリカーボネートジオール(P-1)150質量部及びトリメチロールプロパントリアクリレートのエチレンオキサイド付加物228.0質量部を仕込み、80℃まで昇温、2時間反応させて、カルボキシル基及び2以上の(メタ)アクリロイル基を有する反応物(X-4)を得た。
次いで、トリエチルアミン75.7質量部を投入し、さらに水2219.1質量部を投入して、活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物(4)を得た。
実施例2で使用したウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-1)をウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-2)または(B-3)に変更した以外は、実施例2と同様にして、活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物(5)及び(6)を得た。
攪拌機、温度計、不活性ガス導入管および還流管を備えた反応容器に、アクリル重合体(A-2)溶液1093.8質量部、ウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-1)1031.3質量部を仕込み、80℃まで昇温、2時間反応させて、カルボキシル基及び2以上の(メタ)アクリロイル基を有する反応物(X-7)を得た。
次いで、トリエチルアミン75.7質量部を投入し、さらに水2219.1質量部を投入して、活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物(7)を得た。
実施例1で使用したウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-1)をウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(RB-1)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物(R1)を得た
実施例1で使用したウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B-1)をウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(RB-1)に変更し、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレートのエチレンオキサイド付加物を使用しなかった以外は、実施例1と同様にして、活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物(R2)を得た
上記で得た活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物に 光重合開始剤(BASFジャパン株式会社製「イルガキュア500」、1-ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトンとベンゾフェノンとのモル比1:1の共融混合物)を活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物に対して固形分当たり5質量%混合して目的の活性エネルギー線硬化型水性塗料を得た。
ABS(アクリロニトリル-ブタジエン-スチレン共重合体)及びPC(ポリカーボネート)板上に、乾燥後の膜厚が10μmになるように活性エネルギー線硬化型水性塗料をスプレー塗装して、乾燥機中で60℃の温度で10分間の予備乾燥をした後、出力80W/cmの高圧水銀ランプを用いて、照射量0.8J/cm2の紫外線照射を行い、評価用硬化塗膜を作製した。
ABS又はPC板上の硬化塗膜に、カッターにて1mm角で10×10個の切れ目を入れ、セロファンテープによる剥離試験を行い、残存する目数を下記の基準にしたがって、塗膜密着性を評価した。
○:95~100個
△:60~94個
×:59個以下
ABS板上の硬化塗膜を基材のABS板とともに80℃の温水に2時間浸漬した後、取り出して25℃で2時間乾燥した。その後、上記同様にセロファンテープによる剥離試験を行い、残存する目数を下記の基準にしたがって、温水浸漬後の塗膜密着性を評価した。
○:95~100個
△:60~94個
×:59個以下
ABS板上の硬化塗膜を基材のABS板と共にpH9のNaOH水溶液60℃中に1時間浸漬した後、取り出して25℃で1時間乾燥した。その後、上記同様にセロファンテープによる剥離試験を行い、残存する目数を下記の基準に従って、耐薬品性を評価した。
○:95~100個
△:60~94個
×:59個以下
EOTEMPA:トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレートのエチレンオキサイド付加物(アクリレート当たり、エチレンオキサイド約1モル付加物)
Claims (6)
- 水酸基を有するアクリル重合体(A)及びイソシアネート基を有するウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B)の反応物(X)と、水性媒体(Y)とを含有する活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物であって、前記ウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B)が、カルボキシル基及び2以上の(メタ)アクリロイル基を有するものであることを特徴とする活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物。
- 前記ウレタン(メタ)アクリレート(B)が、ポリイソシアネート(b1)、カルボキシル基を有するポリオール(b2)、及び水酸基を有する多官能(メタ)アクリレート(b3)の反応物である請求項1記載の活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物。
- さらに、多官能(メタ)アクリレート(C)を含有する請求項1又は2記載の活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物。
- 前記反応物(X)が、ポリカーボネートジオール(P)を必須原料とするものである請求項1~3いずれか1項記載の活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか1項記載の活性エネルギー線硬化型水性樹脂組成物を含有することを特徴とする活性エネルギー線硬化型水性塗料。
- 請求項5記載の活性エネルギー線硬化型水性塗料が塗装されたことを特徴とする物品。
