Claims (13)
- 電気光学ディスプレイを駆動する方法であって、前記方法は、
駆動スキームを使用して前記ディスプレイの第1の部分を更新することであって、前記駆動スキームは、白色テキストを黒色背景上に表示するように構成されている、ことと、
前記ディスプレイの前記第1の部分を更新することに続いて、時間遅延を実施することと、
前記ディスプレイにわたるスワイプ動作を作成するために、前記駆動スキームを使用して前記ディスプレイの第2の部分を更新することと
を含む、方法。 - エッジアーチファクトをディスプレイピクセルから除去することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ディスプレイの前記第1の部分を更新するステップは、アクティブ光学移行を経るディスプレイピクセルのみを更新するように構成された駆動スキームを使用することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 前記電気光学系ディスプレイは、電気泳動材料の層を有する電気泳動ディスプレイである、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記電気泳動材料は、流体内に配置された複数の荷電粒子を備え、前記複数の荷電粒子は、電場の影響下で前記流体を通して移動することが可能である、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記荷電粒子および前記流体は、複数のカプセルまたはマイクロセル内に閉じ込められている、請求項9に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記電気泳動材料は、マイクロセルを用いて閉じ込められた染色流体内の単一タイプの電気泳動粒子を備えている、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記荷電粒子および前記流体は、高分子材料を備えている連続相によって包囲された複数の別々の液滴として存在する、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記流体は、ガス状である、請求項12に記載のディスプレイ。
