Claims (12)
- 第1表面及び第2表面を含む基板と、
前記第1表面と第2表面の間に設けられる接地層と、
前記第1表面に設けられ、信号受信端と複数の信号放射端を含み、前記信号受信端と前記複数の信号放射端との間に複数の受信分岐が形成される多分岐回路と、
前記第2表面に設けられ、それぞれのビアを介して前記信号放射端に接続され、ビーム成形を行うための複数のアンテナユニットと、
を含み、
水平方向に隣接する2つのアンテナユニットの受信分岐の経路長さの差に基づいて、前記アンテナユニットのビーム角度を制御するアンテナ装置。 - 前記多分岐回路は、複数の層構造における複数の分岐ノードを有することにより、前記信号受信端と前記信号放射端の間の前記受信分岐を形成する請求項1に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記層構造は、上層分岐ノードを有し、前記上層分岐ノードと前記信号放射端の間に挟まれた第1層を含み、
前記長さの差は、共有する上層分岐ノードを有し隣接する2つの信号放射端から、前記共有する上層分岐ノードまでのそれぞれ経路長さの差である請求項2に記載のアンテナ装置。 - 前記層構造は、中層分岐ノードを有し、前記中層分岐ノードと前記第1層の間に挟まれた第2層を更に含み、
共有する中層分岐ノードを有し隣接する2つの上層分岐ノードから、前記共有する中層分岐ノードまでのそれぞれ経路長さの差は、前記長さの差の2倍である請求項3に記載のアンテナ装置。 - 前記層構造は、下層分岐ノードを有し、前記下層分岐ノードと前記第2層の間に挟まれた第3層を更に含み、
共有する下層分岐ノードを有し隣接する2つの中層分岐ノードから、前記共有する下層分岐ノードまでのそれぞれ経路長さの差は、前記長さの差の4倍である請求項4に記載のアンテナ装置。 - 前記分岐ノードは、ウィルキンソン不等分配器である請求項1に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記ウィルキンソン不等分配器は、更に前記アンテナユニットの間の電力比を制御することで前記アンテナユニットのアンテナゲインを制御するために用いられる請求項6に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記水平方向に前記隣接する2つのアンテナユニットの間の位相差は、前記長さの差に比例する請求項1に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記アンテナユニットのビーム角度は、前記長さの差に比例する請求項1に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記水平方向に前記隣接する2つのアンテナユニットで、それぞれの幾何学的中心位置によって形成されるアンテナ距離が、前記アンテナユニットの共振帯域の中心周波数の波長の二分の一である請求項1に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記アンテナユニットの各々が垂直偏波パッチアンテナである場合、前記アンテナユニットは、列と列が垂直鏡像となるように前記第2表面に設けられ、
前記アンテナユニットの各々が水平偏波パッチアンテナである場合、前記アンテナユニットは、行と行が水平鏡像となるように前記第2表面に設けられる請求項1に記載のアンテナ装置。 - 複数のアンテナアレイを備える無線通信装置であって、
前記アンテナアレイの各々は、
第1表面及び第2表面を含む基板と、
前記第1表面と第2表面の間に設けられる接地層と、
前記第1表面に設けられ、信号受信端と複数の信号放射端を含み、前記信号受信端と前記複数の信号放射端との間に複数の受信分岐が形成される多分岐回路と、
前記第2表面に設けられ、それぞれのビアを介して前記信号放射端に接続され、ビーム成形を行うための複数のアンテナユニットと、
を含み、
水平方向に隣接する2つのアンテナユニットの受信分岐の経路長さの差に基づいて、前記アンテナユニットのビーム角度を制御する無線通信装置。
