Abstract

前記後端から前記前端に向かって延び、加圧された燃料の供給源に接続される燃料チャネルと、
軸方向に変位可能なバルブニードルと、
備え、前記バルブニードルは、前記バルブニードルがバルブシートに座して燃料がノズルに流れるのを防ぐ閉位置と、該バルブニードルが前記バルブシートからリフトされる開位置とを有し、前記開位置では、前記バルブニードルと前記バルブシートとの間にバルブニードル流れエリアが露出し、燃料は、前記燃料チャネルと前記バルブニードル流れエリアと前記ノズル内の前記少なくとも一つのボアとによって少なくとも規定される流路を介して、前記燃料バルブを通って前記ノズル孔に流れることができる。
前記燃料バルブは更に、前記燃料の前記流路に流量制限部を備え、前記流量制限部は、前記流路において、前記バルブシートと前記ノズル孔との間の配されていることを特徴とする。

Claims (10)
- 大型ターボ過給式2ストロークユニフロークロスヘッド内燃機関の燃料バルブであって、
後端と前端とを有する細長い燃料バルブハウジングと、
ノズル孔面積を有する少なくとも1つのノズル孔に開口する少なくとも1つのボアを有し、前記燃料バルブハウジングの前記前端に配されるノズルと、
前記後端から前記前端に向かって延び、加圧された燃料の供給源に接続される燃料チャネルと、
軸方向に変位可能なバルブニードルと、
を備え、
前記バルブニードルは、前記バルブニードルがバルブシートに座して燃料がノズルに流れるのを防ぐ閉位置と、該バルブニードルが前記バルブシートからリフトされる開位置とを有し、前記開位置では、前記バルブニードルと前記バルブシートとの間にバルブニードル流れエリアが露出し、燃料は、前記燃料チャネルと前記バルブニードル流れエリアと前記ノズル内の前記少なくとも一つのボアとによって少なくとも規定される流路を介して、前記燃料バルブを通って前記ノズル孔に流れることができる。
前記燃料バルブは更に、前記燃料の前記流路に流量制限部を備え、前記流量制限部は、前記流路において、前記バルブシートと前記ノズル孔との間の配されていることを特徴とする、
燃料弁。 - 前記流量制限部の流路面積は、前記ノズル孔面積より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料バルブ。
- 前記流量制限部の流路面積は、前記ノズル孔面積の3/4未満、好ましくは1/2未満、最も好ましくは1/3未満である、請求項1又は2に記載の燃料バルブ。
- 前記ノズルは、少なくとも1つのノズル孔に開口する複数のボアを有することを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3に記載の燃料バルブ。
- 前記ノズルは、少なくとも1つのノズル孔に開口するボアを1つしか有さないことを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3に記載の燃料バルブ。
- 細長い部材を有するバルブニードルを有するスライド弁であり、該バルブニードルが前記ボア内に突出していることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の燃料バルブ。
- 前記細長い部材が、中実の第1部分と、バルブシートから最も遠い部分である中空の第2部分とを有し、前記中空の第2部分は少なくとも1つのオリフィスを有し、その自由端で開口していることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の燃料バルブ。
- 前記流量制限部は、前記細長い部材を有するバルブニードルの前記中空の第2部分の前記少なくとも1つのボア又は前記少なくとも1つのオリフィスに取り付けられたインサートとして、前記バルブシートと前記少なくとも1つのノズル孔との間の流路に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の燃料バルブ。
- 前記ノズル孔は前記ノズルの径方向に分布し、好ましくは軸方向にも分布しており、前記ノズル孔は、前記ノズルの軸方向先端付近に配置され、該先端は好ましくは閉じられている、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の燃料バルブ。
- 請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の燃料バルブを備える、大型ターボ過給式2ストロークユニフロークロスヘッド内燃機関。
