Abstract
Description
このような相互容量方式のタッチセンシング方式では、指、ペンなどのポインタの有無による駆動タッチ電極(駆動タッチ電極ライン)とセンシングタッチ電極(センシングタッチ電極ライン)間の容量(相互容量)の変化に基づいてタッチの有無及び/又はタッチ座標などを検出する。
タッチ電極TE及びタッチラインTLは、同一の層に存在してもよく、異なる層に存在してもよい。
コントローラCTRは、通常のディスプレイ技術で用いられるタイミングコントローラであるか、タイミングコントローラを含めて他の制御機能もさらに有し得る制御装置であってよく、タイミングコントローラと異なる制御装置であってもよく、制御装置内の回路であってもよい。コントローラCTRは、IC(Integrate Circuit)、FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)、又はプロセッサなどの様々な回路や電子部品によって具現されてよい。
前述によれば、発光性能などのディスプレイ性能とタッチ性能を考慮して、カラーフィルターCFとタッチ電極TE間の最適の位置関係を有するOLEDディスプレータイプの表示装置100を提供することができる。

- 表示領域を含む基板と、
前記基板上に位置する発光素子と、
前記発光素子に対応する第1開口部を含むバンクと、
前記発光素子上に位置する封止層と、
前記封止層上に位置するタッチ電極と、
前記タッチ電極上に位置し、第1層、及び前記第1層上に位置し、前記第1層に比べて屈折率の低い第2層を含むブラックマトリクスと、
前記タッチ電極上に位置するカラーフィルターとを含む表示装置。 - 前記第1層及び前記第2層が直接接触する、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1層は、屈折率が2.1~2.7であり、前記第2層は、屈折率が1.4~1.8である、請求項1に記載の表示装置。

- 前記ブラックマトリクス部の第1層の厚さは、前記ブラックマトリクス部の第2層の厚さよりも厚い、請求項11に記載の表示装置。
