Abstract
Description
豚の研究が実行された。最大で14個の部分的な厚さの熱傷が、それぞれの豚の背側に生成された。その後に熱傷創傷は、黄色ブドウ球菌、緑膿菌、アシネトバクター・バウマニ、またはカンジタ・アルビカンスによって感染させられ、次いで、0.625%アルギン酸塩ヒドロゲルの中にそれぞれ調合された、1000xMICの局所バンコマイシン、ゲンタマイシン、ミノサイクリン、または、10xMICの局所ジフルカンによって、7日にわたって個別に治療された。本明細書で説明されているような創傷治療デバイスが、抗生物質治療に関連して使用された。スルファジアジン銀クリーム(シルバデン)、ブランク0.625%アルギン酸塩ヒドロゲルおよびIV抗生物質が、それぞれの局所抗生物質ヒドロゲルに関するコントロールとして使用された。7日目に、安楽死の直後に、6mmの創傷組織パンチ生検が、それぞれの創傷から収集され、定量的な細菌学的分析のために急速冷凍された。

Claims (22)
- 創傷治療のためのキットであって、前記キットは、
創傷治療デバイスを含み、前記創傷治療デバイスは、
内側表面、および隔離された治療スペースを画定するシーリング部分を含むチャンバーと、
前記チャンバーの前記内側表面の上に所定のパターンで配置されている複数のエンボス加工された構造体と、
前記チャンバーに接続されている第1の端部を有する少なくとも1つのチューブと、
を含み、
前記構造体は、創傷に直接的に接触するように構成されており、また、前記チャンバーの前記内側表面と前記創傷との間に陰圧を分配するための経路を生成させるように構成されており、
前記少なくとも1つのチューブは、前記隔離された治療スペースに流体連通しており、前記隔離された治療スペースに陰圧を印加すること、および、前記創傷に治療剤を適用することの群から選択される少なくとも1つを可能にするようになっており、
また、前記キットは、
最大でまたは少なくとも約1000xMICの濃度でゲルとともに調合された抗生物質を含む治療剤
を含む、キット。 - 前記治療剤は、鎮痛薬をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記治療剤の調合は、生理食塩水を含む、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記構造体は、約0.2mmから約5mmの高さを有しており、互いから約0.2mmから約10mmの間隔を置いて配置されている、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記構造体は、前記チャンバーの前記内側表面に対して概して垂直の方向に、前記隔離された治療スペースの中へ侵入している、請求項1に記載のキット。
- それぞれのエンボス加工された構造体は、円錐形、ピラミッド、五角形、六角形、半球体、ドーム形、ロッド、丸みを帯びた側部を備えた細長いリッジ、および、四角い側部を備えた細長いリッジからなる群から選択される形状を有している、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記チャンバーは、実質的に不浸透性の材料から作製されている、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記チャンバーは、実質的に透明な材料から作製されている、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記少なくとも1つのチューブは、前記治療スペースから創傷流体を除去するようにさらに構成されている、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記少なくとも1つのチューブを介して前記治療スペースに流体接続されている、吸収性材料を収容する創傷流体収集デバイスをさらに含む、請求項9に記載のキット。
- 前記収集デバイスは、インライン・ポンプ、逆止弁、および安全トランスデューサーのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項10に記載のキット。
- 前記少なくとも1つのチューブを介して前記チャンバーと連通した陰圧の供給源をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記デバイスの使用説明書と、創傷治療のための前記治療剤とをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のキット。

吸収性材料を収容しており、かつ、前記少なくとも1つのチューブを介して前記隔離された治療スペースに接続されている、創傷流体収集デバイス
を含む、創傷治療システム。 - 前記収集デバイスは、インライン・ポンプ、逆止弁、および安全トランスデューサーのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのチューブを介して前記チャンバーと連通した陰圧の供給源をさらに含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 創傷を治療する方法であって、前記方法は、
隔離された治療スペースを形成するために、前記創傷に創傷治療デバイスを適用するステップと、
