Abstract
Description
(a)基材(Sa)と、
(b)基材(Sa)と接触して、20℃以下のTgを有する1つ以上のアクリルポリマー(POLb)を含む感圧組成物(Cb)の層(Lb)と、
(c)層(Lb)と接触して、層(Lc)の重量に基づく重量で、
(i)20℃以下のTgを有する60%~99.5%の1つ以上のアクリルポリマー(POLc)、および
(ii)0.5%~40%の1つ以上のオレフィンコポリマー、を含む層(Lc)と、を備える感圧接着剤物品である。
(A)第1の表面上にアクリルポリマー(POLb)の分散粒子を含有する水性組成物(Qb)の層を形成することと、
(B)第2の表面上に(i)アクリルポリマー(POLc)および(ii)オレフィンコポリマーを含有する分散粒子を含有する水性組成物(Qc)の層を形成することと、
(C)水性組成物(Qb)の層を乾燥させて、層(Lb)を形成することと、
(D)水性組成物(Qc)の層を乾燥させて、層(Lc)を形成することと、を含む。
(A)第1の表面上にアクリルポリマー(POLb)の分散粒子を含有する水性組成物(Qb)の層を形成するステップと、
(B)第2の表面上に(i)アクリルポリマー(POLc)および(ii)オレフィンコポリマーを含有する分散粒子を含有する水性組成物(Qc)の層を形成するステップと、
(C)水性組成物(Qb)の層を乾燥させて、層(Lb)を形成するステップと、
(D)水性組成物(Qc)の層を乾燥させて、層(Lc)を形成するステップと、を含む方法によって作製される。
ポリプロピレン(「PP」)フィルム(厚さ60マイクロメートル)をラミネート前にコロナ処理によって前処理した。配合された接着剤を剥離紙上にコーティングし、80℃で5分間乾燥させた。PPフィルムを感圧接着剤でコーティングされた剥離ライナーでラミネートした。
試験前に、サンプルストリップを20分の滞留時間で試験プレートに適用した。すべてのサンプルは、「接着剤」故障モードとして損傷した。
「C」は、比較を意味し、「I」は、発明を意味する。
「アクリル」は、上記のアクリルポリマーを指す。括弧内の数字は、アクリルポリマーラテックスの湿重量に基づく部数を指す。
「ECP1」は、上記のCOHESA(商標)3050H(38.5~41.4%の活性固体)を指す。括弧内の数字は、ECP1水性分散液の湿重量に基づく部数を指す。
「ECP2」は、上記の40%固体でのELVAX(商標)220W分散液を指す。括弧内の数字は、ECP2水性分散液の湿重量に基づく部数を指す。
「ECP3」は、上記の20%固体でのA-20505分散液を指す。括弧内の数字は、ECP3水性分散液の湿重量に基づく部数を指す。
「厚さ」は、gsm(平方メートル当たりの乾燥組成のグラム数)の単位での層1および層2の合計の厚さである。
「ECP層」は、層1および層2の合計乾燥重量で割ったECPを含有する層の乾燥重量比に100を掛けたものである(つまり、パーセンテージで表される)。
「ECP%」は、層1の乾燥重量と層2の乾燥重量との合計で割ったECPポリマーの乾燥重量に100を掛けたものである(つまり、パーセンテージとして表される)。
「剥離」は、ニュートンでの上記の90度剥離試験の結果である(2.54cm(1インチ)の幅を有するサンプルの場合)。
Claims (7)
- 感圧接着剤物品であって、
(a)基材(Sa)と、
(b)前記基材(Sa)と接触して、20℃以下のTgを有する1つ以上のアクリルポリマー(POLb)を含む感圧組成物(Cb)の層(Lb)と、
(c)前記層(Lb)と接触して、層(Lc)の重量に基づく重量で、
(i)20℃以下のTgを有する60%~99.5%の1つ以上のアクリルポリマー(POLc)、および
(ii)0.5%~40%の1つ以上のオレフィンコポリマー、を含む層(Lc)と、を備える、感圧接着剤物品。 - 前記オレフィンコポリマーが、エチレンコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の感圧物品。
- 前記オレフィンコポリマーが、酢酸ビニルもしくはアクリル酸、またはそれらの混合物の重合単位を含む、請求項1に記載の感圧物品。
- 請求項1に記載の感圧物品を作製する方法であって、
(A)第1の表面上に前記アクリルポリマー(POLb)の分散粒子を含有する水性組成物(Qb)の層を形成することと、
(B)第2の表面上に(i)前記アクリルポリマー(POLc)および(ii)前記オレフィンコポリマーを含有する分散粒子を含有する水性組成物(Qc)の層を形成することと、
(C)前記水性組成物(Qb)の前記層を乾燥させて、前記層(Lb)を形成することと、
(D)前記水性組成物(Qc)の前記層を乾燥させて、前記層(Lc)を形成することと、を含む、方法。 - 水性組成物(Qb)が、1つ以上のモノマーの水性乳化重合を含むプロセスによって作製されて、前記アクリルポリマー(POLb)の分散粒子を生成する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 基材(Sd)を請求項1に記載の物品と接触させるプロセスによって作製された結合物品であって、前記基材(Sd)が、前記層(Lc)と接触している、結合物品。
- 前記基材(Sd)が、ポリオレフィンである、請求項4に記載の結合物品。
