Claims (16)
- アスファルト組成物であって、
前記アスファルト組成物の総重量に基づいて、約70~約99.5wt%のアスファルトバインダと、
前記アスファルト組成物の総重量に基づいて、約0.25~20wt%の再生ポリマー成分と、
式E/X/Y/Zを有する、前記アスファルト組成物の総重量に基づいて、約0.1~10wt%のエポキシ官能化エチレンコポリマーと、を含み
式中、Eはエチレンから誘導されたコポリマー単位-(CH2CH2)-であり、
Xは、前記コポリマーの0~約40wt%で存在する、コポリマー単位-(CH2CR1R2)-であり、式中R1は水素、メチル、又はエチルであり、R2は1~10個の炭素原子のカルボアルコキシ、アシルオキシ、又はアルコキシであり、
Yは、前記コポリマーの0.1~約25wt%で存在する、コポリマー単位-(CH2CR3R4)-であり、式中R3は水素又はメチルであり、R4はカルボグリシドキシ又はグリシドキシであり、
Zは、前記コポリマーの0~約10wt%で存在する、一酸化炭素、二酸化硫黄、アクリロニトリル、又は他のモノマーを含むコモノマーから誘導されたコポリマーである、アスファルト組成物。 - 前記再生ポリマー成分が、該再生ポリマー成分の総重量に基づいて、1wt%~99.99wt%のエチレン系ポリマー、プロピレン系ポリマー、ポリエステル、ポリ(塩化ビニル)、ポリスチレン、又はポリアミド、エチレンビニルアルコール、エチレンビニルアセテート、ポリ塩化ビニルのうちの1つ又は複数を含む、請求項1に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記再生ポリマー成分が、該再生ポリマー成分の総重量に基づいて、51wt%~99.99wt%のエチレン系ポリマーのうちの1つ又は複数を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記再生ポリマー成分が、約0.858グラム毎立方センチメートル(g/cc)~約0.970g/ccの密度を有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記再生ポリマー成分が、ASTM D1238に従って190℃及び2.16kgの荷重で測定した場合、10分当たり約20グラム(g/10min)未満のメルトインデックスI2を有する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- Yが、グリシジルアクリレート、グリシジルメタクリレート、グリシジルブチルアクリレート、グリシジルビニルエーテル、並びにグリシジルアクリレート、グリシジルメタクリレート、グリシジルブチルアクリレート、及びグリシジルビニルエーテルのうちの2つ以上の組合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記エポキシ官能化エチレンコポリマーが、エチレン酢酸ビニルグリシジルメタクリレートターポリマー、エチレンn-ブチルアクリレートグリシジルメタクリレートターポリマー、又はエチレンメチルアクリレートグリシジルメタクリレートターポリマーである、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- スチレン/共役ジエンコポリマーを更に含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 酸又は無水物を更に含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記酸がポリリン酸である、請求項8に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記アスファルト組成物の総重量に基づいて、0.05wt%~1wt%の酸又は無水物を含む、請求項8に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記アスファルト組成物が、58℃を超える表層連続粒度を有する、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記アスファルト組成物が50%を超える弾性回復を有する、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記再生ポリマー成分が、該再生ポリマー成分の総重量に基づいて、少なくとも0.01wt%の汚染物質を更に含む、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- 前記再生ポリマー成分が、ASTM D6290に従って測定された場合、ゼロではない黄色度指数を有する、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載のアスファルト組成物。
- アスファルト組成物を製造する方法であって、
アスファルトバインダ、再生ポリマー成分、及び式E/X/Y/Zを有するエポキシ官能化エチレンコポリマーを組み合わせることを含み、
式中、Eは、エチレンから誘導されたコポリマー単位-(CH2CH2)-であり、
Xは、前記コポリマーの0~約40wt%で存在する、コポリマー単位-(CH2CR1R2)-であり、式中R1は水素、メチル、又はエチルであり、R2は1~10個の炭素原子のカルボアルコキシ、アシルオキシ、又はアルコキシであり、
Yは、前記コポリマーの0.1~約25wt%で存在する、コポリマー単位-(CH2CR3R4)-であり、式中R3は水素又はメチルであり、R4は、カルボグリシドキシ又はグリシドキシであり、
Zは、前記コポリマーの0~約10wt%で存在する、一酸化炭素、二酸化硫黄、アクリロニトリル、又は他のモノマーを含むコモノマーから誘導されたコポリマーである、アスファルト組成物を製造する方法。
