Abstract
Description
この複雑な現象について説明しようと、いくつかの理論が提唱されている。燃焼室内に少量の潤滑油が存在すると、燃料と混ざり、早期着火を悪化させる場合があることがとりわけ観察されている。また、燃焼室内の堆積物の存在とLSPIの発生との関連を確立することができている。最後に、エンジン自体の設計は早期着火に影響を及ぼす可能性がある。
(i)少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体と、
(ii)少なくとも1つの基油と
を含む潤滑油組成物の、車両、好ましくは自動車のエンジンにおいて、早期着火、特に低速早期着火を防止及び/又は低減するための使用であって、
前記潤滑油組成物は、新品の潤滑油組成物を添加することなく、少なくとも1回のオイル交換間隔の間、好ましくは、車両が走行する10,000km~30,000kmの距離にわたって使用され、
潤滑油組成物中に存在するホウ素の含有量は150質量ppm~350質量ppmである。
a)エンジンを少なくとも1つの基油及び少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体を含む潤滑油組成物に接して設置し、潤滑油組成物中に存在するホウ素の含有量は150質量ppm~350質量ppmである工程;
b)エンジンを、新品の潤滑油組成物を添加することなく、少なくとも1回のオイル交換間隔の間、好ましくは、車両が走行する10,000km~30,000kmの距離にわたって作動させる工程を備える、方法である。
(i)少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体と、
(ii)少なくとも1つの基油と
を含み、車両、好ましくは自動車のエンジンにおける早期着火、特に低速早期着火を防止及び/又は低減するための使用であり、
前記潤滑油組成物は、GFC Lu-43A-11法に従って、150℃を超える温度、好ましくは150℃~170℃で、少なくとも110時間の間、好ましくは120時間~150時間、鉄触媒による酸化反応を受け、
潤滑油組成物中に存在するホウ素の含有量が150質量ppm~350質量ppmである。
ホウ素誘導体
上述したように、本発明に従って使用される潤滑油組成物は、(i)少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体を含む。
前述のように、本発明に従って使用される潤滑油組成物は、(ii)少なくとも1つの基油を含む。
本発明に従って使用される組成物は、また、上記で定義するホウ素誘導体と異なる、以下の本文でより正確に定義する1つ又は複数の添加剤も含んでいてもよい。
本発明による潤滑油組成物は、エンジン、とりわけ車両エンジン、特にガソリン車両エンジンで使用されることをより具体的に意図する。
(i)少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体と、
(ii)少なくとも1つの基油と
を含み、車両、好ましくは自動車のエンジンにおいて、低速早期着火(LSPI)を防止及び/又は低減するための使用であり、前記潤滑油組成物は、新品の潤滑油組成物を添加することなく、少なくとも1回のオイル交換間隔の間、好ましくは、車両が走行する10,000km~30,000kmの距離にわたって使用され、
潤滑油組成物中のホウ素の含有量は150質量ppm~350質量ppmである。

潤滑油を劣化させる方法
以下の実施例で使用する油を模擬劣化にかけた。このシミュレーションは、GFCLu43A-11法に従って、170℃で144時間、鉄100ppmで触媒された油の酸化反応によって行われる。
以下に詳述する実施例において、早期着火傾向を発熱反応の開始温度に関して決定する。発熱反応の開始温度は、HPDSC(高圧示差走査熱量測定)によって測定する。
- 分析するサンプル2±0.05mgをタンクに量り取る;
- オープンサンプル及び対照を検知器の表面に置く;
- セルを機械的に密閉する;
- 1~20barの圧力をセルに加える;
- 20℃~80℃、好ましくは30℃~70℃の測定開始温度にてサンプル温度を平衡に保ち、1~15分間、好ましくは2~10分間維持する;
- 少なくとも1つの温度傾斜を、開始温度と100℃~400℃、好ましくは150℃~350℃、より優先的には200℃~300℃の温度との間でサンプルに適用する。
上述した手順(潤滑油を劣化させる方法)に従って、潤滑油組成物の耐酸化性を、鉄媒介劣化の間に評価することができる。
潤滑油組成物の調製
潤滑油組成物A0~A3を調製した。
潤滑油組成物のLSPI性能の評価
上記で定義する測定法(実験室早期着火傾向方法)に従って、発熱反応開始温度(着火温度)を、対照油及び実施例1の潤滑油組成物について測定した。

Claims (15)
- (i)少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体と、
(ii)少なくとも1つの基油と
を含む潤滑油組成物の、車両のエンジン、好ましくは自動車のエンジンにおいて、早期着火、特に低速早期着火を防止及び/又は低減するための使用であって、
前記潤滑油組成物は、新品の潤滑油組成物を添加することなく、少なくとも1回のオイル交換間隔の間、好ましくは、前記車両が走行する10,000km~30,000kmの距離にわたって使用され、
前記潤滑油組成物中のホウ素の含有量は150質量ppm~350質量ppmである、潤滑油組成物の使用。 - 前記ホウ素誘導体は、ホウ酸誘導体、ボロン酸誘導体、ボロン酸塩、ホウ酸塩、ホウ酸塩化分散剤、例えばホウ素スクシンイミド誘導体、特にホウ酸塩化ポリイソブテンスクシンイミド、ホウ酸塩化洗浄剤、単純オルトホウ酸塩、ホウ酸エポキシド、ホウ酸エステル、及びこれらの混合物から選択される、請求項1に記載の使用。

- 前記潤滑油組成物は、水素化又は非水素化ホモポリマー又はコポリマー、スチレン、ブタジエン、及びイソプレンから選択され、好ましくは、水素化スチレン/イソプレンコポリマーである、少なくとも1つの粘度指数向上添加剤を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の使用。
- 前記潤滑油組成物は、前記潤滑油組成物の全質量に対して粘度指数向上添加剤を2質量%~15質量%含む、請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の使用。
- 少なくとも1つの基油を含む潤滑油組成物における、少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体、特に請求項2に定義したホウ素誘導体の使用であって、
前記潤滑油組成物中のホウ素の含有量は150質量ppm~350質量ppmであり、
車両のエンジン、好ましくは自動車のエンジンにおいて、早期着火、特に低速早期着火を防止及び/又は低減するための使用であり、前記潤滑油組成物は、新品の潤滑油組成物を添加することなく、少なくとも1回のオイル交換間隔の間、好ましくは、前記車両が走行する10,000km~30,000kmの距離にわたって使用される、使用。 - 少なくとも1つの基油を含む潤滑油組成物における、少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体、特に請求項2に定義したホウ素誘導体の使用であって、
前記潤滑油組成物中のホウ素の含有量は、150質量ppm~350質量ppmであり、
新品の潤滑油組成物を添加することなく、少なくとも1回のオイル交換間隔の間、好ましくは、前記車両が走行する10,000km~30,000kmの距離にわたって使用された後の前記潤滑油組成物の、車両のエンジン、好ましくは自動車のエンジンにおいて、早期着火、特に低速早期着火を防止及び/又は低減する観点から性能の劣化を抑制するための、使用。 - 少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体、特に請求項2に定義したホウ素誘導体の使用であって、
高圧示差走査熱量測定によって測定される潤滑油組成物の着火温度を、ホウ素誘導体化合物を含まない使用済み潤滑油組成物と比べて、特に、少なくとも2%、好ましくは少なくとも4%上昇させる目的のための使用であり、前記潤滑油組成物は、新品の潤滑油組成物を添加することなく、少なくとも1回のオイル交換間隔の間、好ましくは、前記車両が走行する10,000km~30,000kmの距離にわたって使用され、前記潤滑油組成物中のホウ素の含有量は150質量ppm~350質量ppmである、使用。 - 車両のエンジン、好ましくは自動車のエンジンにおける早期着火、特に低速早期着火を防止及び/又は低減する方法であって、少なくとも以下の工程:
a)前記エンジンを少なくとも1つの基油及び少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体を含む潤滑油組成物に接して設置し、前記潤滑油組成物中のホウ素の含有量は150質量ppm~350質量ppmである工程;
b)前記エンジンを、新品の潤滑油組成物を添加することなく、少なくとも1回のオイル交換間隔の間、好ましくは、前記車両が走行する10,000km~30,000kmの距離にわたって作動させる工程を備える、方法。 - 前記潤滑油組成物が請求項2~9のいずれか一項に定義したものである、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 潤滑油組成物の使用であって、
前記潤滑油組成物は、
(i)前記潤滑油組成物中のホウ素の含有量が150質量ppm~350質量ppmである、少なくとも1つのホウ素誘導体と、
(ii)少なくとも1つの基油と
を含み、車両のエンジン、好ましくは自動車のエンジンにおいて、早期着火、特に低速早期着火を防止及び/又は低減するための使用であり、
前記潤滑油組成物は、GFC Lu-43A-11法に従って、150℃を超える温度、好ましくは150℃~170℃で、少なくとも110時間の間、好ましくは120時間~150時間、鉄触媒による反応を受けた、潤滑油組成物の使用。
