Abstract
Description
本出願は、2019年1月11日に出願されたスウェーデン特許出願第1930012-8号の利益を主張するものであり、その特許出願のすべての内容は参照により本明細書に援用される。
図1は、本開示の技術が実施されるネットワーク環境の一例の模式図である。図示のネットワーク環境は典型例であり、他の環境やシステムを用いても本開示の技術を実施可能なことは理解されよう。また、様々な機能を、無線アクセスノードや、ユーザ装置や、コアネットワークノードなどの1つの装置によって実行可能、又はコンピュータ環境における複数のノード間で分散して実行可能である。
以下、ビーム情報を他の測位技術と関連して用いることで精度を高める技術を説明する。前述したとおり、既存の技術では所望の精度が得られないことがあり、特にマルチパス成分が存在する状況では顕著である。ビーム関連情報と測位計測値とを組み合わせることで計測誤差範囲を狭め得る。さらに、ビーム関連情報と測位計測値とを組み合わせることで、(既存の無線通信システムにおいて最小の)3より少ない数の基地局(gNB)によって正確な測位推定値の算出が可能になり得る。
特定の実施形態を図示及び説明したが、当業者が本明細書を読んで理解することで添付した請求の範囲内の等価物と修正とを実施し得るものと理解される。
Claims (24)
- ユーザ装置(100)の測位にビーム関連情報を付与する方法であって、
1つ以上のネットワークノード(110)によって送信された複数の参照信号を受信すること(130)と、
前記複数の参照信号に基づいて複数の測位計測値を作成すること(132)と、
前記複数の測位計測値をビーム情報と関連付けること(134)と、
測位推定に用いるために、関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う一連の測位計測値を選択すること(136)とを含む、方法。 - 前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う選択された一連の測位計測値を、前記ユーザ装置(100)の位置を推定する測位演算ノード(105)にレポートすること(142)をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う選択された一連の測位計測値は、ネットワークノード(110)から受信した命令にしたがってレポートされる、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザ装置(100)によって、前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う選択された一連の測位計測値に基づいて前記ユーザ装置(100)の位置を推定すること(140)をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザ装置(100)の位置を推定することは、前記1つ以上のネットワークノード(110)の位置にさらに基づく、請求項2又は4に記載の方法。
- 前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う一連の測位計測値を選択することは、前記複数の測位計測値の各計測結果及び計測結果の質に基づく、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記測位計測値は時間ベースの計測値である、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記測位計測値は信号強度ベースの計測値である、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ビーム情報は、各参照信号のための送信ビーム(111、113、115)及び/又は受信ビーム(101)を含む、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ビーム情報はビーム指標を含む、請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ビーム情報はアンテナパネル指標を含む、請求項1~10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ビーム指標は前記1つ以上のネットワークノード(110)の各ビーム配置に関する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 各ビーム配置は基準方向とサポートされたビームの最大数とを特定する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の測位計測値は、特定のネットワークノード(110)からの送信のマルチパス成分の計測値を含み、
前記方法は、前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う一連の測位計測値に含めるために、前記マルチパス成分の1つ以上の計測値を選択することをさらに含む、請求項1~13のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記マルチパス成分の1つ以上の計測値を選択することは、所定の質基準に基づいて計測値を選択することを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記関連付けることは、測位計測値とビーム情報との1対1マッピングを用いることを含む、請求項1~15のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記測位計測値又は前記ビーム情報の少なくとも一方は、装置機能又は所望の測位精度レベルの少なくとも一方に応じてレポートされる、請求項1~16のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 無線通信ネットワーク(102)で動作するように構成された無線通信装置(100)であって、
無線インタフェース(122)であって、当該無線インタフェースを通じて1つ以上のネットワークノード(110)との無線通信が実行される無線インタフェース(122)と、
制御回路(118)であって、
前記1つ以上のネットワークノード(110)によって送信された複数の参照信号を受信し、
前記複数の参照信号を計測して複数の測位計測値を作成し、
前記複数の測位計測値をビーム情報と関連付け、
測位推定値を決定するために、関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う一連の測位計測値を選択するように構成された制御回路(118)と、を含む装置。 - 前記制御回路(118)は、前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う選択された一連の測位計測値を、測位演算ノード(105)にレポートするようにさらに構成される、請求項18に記載の無線通信装置(100)。
- 前記制御回路(118)は、前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う選択された一連の測位計測値を、ネットワークノード(110)から受信した命令にしたがってレポートするようにさらに構成される、請求項19に記載の無線通信装置(100)。
- 前記制御回路(118)は、前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う選択された一連の測位計測値と前記1つ以上のネットワークノード(110)の位置とに基づいて前記無線通信装置(100)の位置を推定するようにさらに構成される、請求項18に記載の無線通信装置(100)。
- 前記制御回路(118)は、前記複数の測位計測値の各計測の質に基づいて、前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う一連の測位計測値を選択するようにさらに構成される、請求項18~21のいずれかに記載の無線通信装置(100)。
- 前記複数の測位計測値は、特定のネットワークノード(110)からの送信のマルチパス成分の計測値を含み、
前記制御回路(118)は、前記関連付けられたビーム情報を伴う一連の測位計測値に含めるために、前記マルチパス成分の1つ以上の計測値を選択するようにさらに構成される、請求項18~22のいずれかに記載の無線通信装置(100)。 - 前記制御回路(118)は、所定の質基準に基づいて前記マルチパス成分の1つ以上の計測値を選択するようにさらに構成される、請求項23に記載の無線通信装置(100)。
