Claims (15)
- タイヤ・ホイールアセンブリであって、
貫通孔を有するホイールと、
前記ホイールに装着されることによって空洞を形成するタイヤと、
前記空洞の外側の位置から前記空洞の内側の位置までホイールを通って延在するバルブであって、前記貫通孔から離間している、バルブと、
前記空洞の外側の位置に、前記ホイール上で前記貫通孔の上方に装着されて、どの部分も前記空洞の内側に位置しない偏向センサと、
を備える、タイヤ・ホイールアセンブリ。 - 温度及び圧力センサを更に備える、請求項1に記載のタイヤ・ホイールアセンブリ。
- 加速度計を更に備える、請求項1に記載のタイヤ・ホイールアセンブリ。
- 前記偏向センサが、位置センサ及び配向センサのうちの1つを含む、請求項1に記載のタイヤ・ホイールアセンブリ。
- 前記タイヤが、前記偏向センサの反対側の位置に、前記タイヤの内面に印を含む、請求項1に記載のタイヤ・ホイールアセンブリ。
- 前記偏向センサと信号通信するプロセッサを更に備える、請求項1に記載のタイヤ・ホイールアセンブリ。
- 前記バルブに接続され、前記プロセッサと信号通信するエアレギュレータを更に備える、請求項6に記載のタイヤ・ホイールアセンブリ。
- 前記偏向センサが、光学センサ、超音波センサ、無線周波数センサ、磁気センサ、レーダー、ミリ波レーダー、構造化光センサ、及びレーザーセンサからなる群から選択されるセンサである、請求項1に記載のタイヤ・ホイールアセンブリ。
- タイヤ内の圧力を調節する方法であって、前記方法は、
車両のホイールに装着されたタイヤを提供することであって、
前記タイヤ及び前記ホイールが空洞を画定し、
前記ホイールが、配設された貫通孔を有する、ことと、
前記空洞の外側の位置に、前記ホイール上で前記貫通孔の上方に、どの部分も前記空洞の内側に位置しない偏向センサを提供することと、
前記偏向センサを用いて、前記貫通孔の反対側の前記タイヤの内壁の選択領域を監視することと、
前記貫通孔の反対側の前記タイヤの前記内壁の前記選択領域の監視に基づいて、タイヤ偏向を計算することと、
非タイヤデータに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記タイヤの所望のタイヤ偏向を決定することと、
前記計算されたタイヤ偏向が前記所望のタイヤ偏向の所定量内に入るまで、前記タイヤ内の空気圧を調整することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記非タイヤデータが、車両速度、車両加速度、地形データ、車両負荷、及びエンジン歪みからなる群から選択される、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記偏向センサの位置及び配向のうちの1つを監視することを更に含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記タイヤ内の湿度レベルを監視することを更に含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記タイヤ内の空気圧を調整する工程が、前記タイヤ内の前記湿度レベルに部分的に基づく、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記タイヤ内の温度を監視することを更に含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記タイヤ内の空気圧を調整する工程が、前記タイヤ内の温度に部分的に基づく、請求項14に記載の方法。
