Description
Claims (20)
- ハンドヘルドデバイスであって、
頂部、底部、左右の側部、並びに、外側及び内側を有するバックカバー、
前記バックカバーの前記内側に取り付けられるタッチセンサであって、前記ハンドヘルドデバイスが手に保持されているときにユーザの指によって操作される位置において前記バックカバー上に位置する、前記タッチセンサ、及び
前記タッチセンサに結合されるタッチセンサコントローラであって、前記タッチセンサとの関連におけるユーザの指の位置を判定するため、及び、そのような位置を、結合されているプロセッサに提供するための前記タッチセンサコントローラ、
を含む、ハンドヘルドデバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記タッチセンサが容量性タッチセンサであり、前記タッチセンサコントローラが容量性タッチセンサコントローラである、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- 請求項1に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記ユーザの指が人差し指であり、前記タッチセンサが、一次元の人差し指の位置を可能にする弓形形状を有する、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- 請求項3に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記弓形形状が、左利き又は右利き操作のために構成される、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- 請求項1に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記ハンドヘルドデバイスの前記バックカバーを覆い、前記タッチセンサに重なるケースをさらに含む、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- 請求項5に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記タッチセンサが弓形形状を有し、前記ケースが、前記タッチセンサの弓形形状に概して適合する外部隆起を含む、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- 請求項5に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記タッチセンサが弓形形状を有し、前記ケースが、前記タッチセンサの弓形形状に概して適合する開口を含む、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- 請求項5に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記タッチセンサコントローラの感度が、前記ケースとの動作のために変更される、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- 請求項1に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記タッチセンサが、二次元の指の位置検出を可能にするための面形状を有する、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- 請求項9に記載のハンドヘルドデバイスであって、前記面形状が、左利き又は右利きの操作のために構成される、ハンドヘルドデバイス。
- ハンドヘルドデバイスと共に用いるためのケースであって、
前記ハンドヘルドデバイスが、頂部、底部、左右側部、並びに、外部及び内部を有するバックカバーと、前記バックカバーの前記内部に取り付けられるタッチセンサとを含み、
前記タッチセンサが、前記ハンドヘルドデバイスが手に保持されているときにユーザの人差し指によって操作される位置において前記バックカバー上に位置し、前記タッチセンサが弓形形状を有し、
前記ケースが、
前記ハンドヘルドデバイスの前記バックカバーを覆うための、前記タッチセンサに重なる保護材料であって、前記タッチセンサの弓形形状に概して適合する前記タッチセンサ弓形形状のインジケーションを含む、前記保護材料、
を含む、ケース。 - 請求項11に記載のケースであって、前記インジケーションが外部隆起である、ケース。
- 請求項11に記載のケースであって、前記インジケーションが開口であるケース。
- 携帯電話であって、
前記携帯電話の前部を形成するディスプレイ、
前記ディスプレイの上に重なり、ユーザの指の位置のインジケーションを提供するフロントタッチセンサ、
少なくとも1つのプロセッサを含み、前記ディスプレイ及び前記フロントタッチセンサに結合される携帯電話システムオンチップ(SoC)、
頂部、底部、左右の側部、並びに、外側及び内側を有するバックカバー、
前記バックカバーの前記内側に取り付けられる裏側タッチセンサであって、ユーザの指によって操作される位置において前記バックカバー上に位置する、前記裏側タッチセンサ、
前記裏側タッチセンサと前記SoCに結合され、前記裏側タッチセンサに関連してユーザの指の位置を判定し、そのような位置を前記SoCに提供する裏側タッチセンサコントローラ、
を含む、携帯電話。 - 請求項14に記載の携帯電話であって、前記裏側タッチセンサが容量性タッチセンサであり、前記裏側タッチセンサコントローラが容量性タッチセンサコントローラである、携帯電話。
- 請求項14に記載の携帯電話であって、前記ユーザの指が人差し指であり、前記裏側タッチセンサが、一次元の人差し指の位置を可能にする弓形形状を有する、携帯電話。
- 請求項16に記載の携帯電話であって、前記弓形形状が、左利き又は右利きの操作のために構成される、携帯電話。
- 請求項14に記載の携帯電話であって、前記裏側タッチセンサコントローラの感度が、前記前記バックカバーを覆い前記裏側タッチセンサに重なるケースとの動作のために変更されるように構成される、携帯電話。
- 請求項14に記載の携帯電話であって、前記裏側タッチセンサが、二次元の指の位置検出を可能にする面形状を有する、携帯電話。
- 前記面形状が、左利き又は右利きの操作のために構成される、携帯電話。
