Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 光学システムで閉塞を検知するためのシステムであって、
光信号を生成するように構成された第1のレーザー光源と、
前記第1のレーザー光源から前記光信号を受け取り、前記光信号をビーム経路に沿って導くように構成された一組の光学素子と、
前記ビーム経路の少なくとも一部に沿って進行する前記光信号の反射を受け取るように構成された検出器と、
プロセッサ、及び実行可能な命令を記憶するメモリを備える制御システムであって、前記制御システムは前記検出器に通信可能に結合され、前記命令は、前記プロセッサにより実行されると、前記制御システムが、
前記検出器によって生成された信号に基づいて、前記光信号の前記反射に関連した反射信号を検出し、
前記反射信号の検出に基づいて、第2のレーザー光源を無効にする、ことを可能にする、制御システムと、を含むシステム。 - 前記第1のレーザー光源に通信可能に結合された関数発生器を更に含み、前記関数発生器は変調信号を生成して前記第1のレーザー光源により生成される前記光信号を変調するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記検出器、前記関数発生器、及び前記制御システムに通信可能に結合されたロックイン増幅器を更に含み、前記ロックイン増幅器は、前記変調信号に基づいて、前記検出器によって生成された信号から前記反射信号を抽出するように構成される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記一組の光学素子は、前記第1のレーザー光源により生成された前記光信号を透過させ、前記光信号の前記反射を前記検出器に向けて反射させるように構成されたビームスプリッタを含む、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記一組の光学素子は、前記第1のレーザー光源により生成された前記光信号を反射させ、前記第2のレーザー光源により生成された光信号を透過させるように構成されたダイクロイックミラーを含む、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記一組の光学素子は終端光学素子を含み、前記検出器は、前記終端光学素子によって引き起こされる前記光信号の前記反射を受け取るように構成される、請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記一組の光学素子は、前記第1のレーザー光源により生成された前記光信号を光ファイバーに向けて導くように構成され、前記一組の光学素子内の前記光学素子のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記第2のレーザー光源により生成された光信号を前記光ファイバーに向けて導くように構成される、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記反射信号の大きさが閾値を上回っているとの判断に基づいて、前記第2のレーザー光源を無効にするように構成される、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 眼科外科手術システムであって、
1つ又は複数の光学素子を含む外科手術プローブに結合するように構成されたコネクタと、
治療レーザー光源と、
プローブレーザー光源と、
検出器と、
一組の光学素子であって、
前記治療レーザー光源から治療光信号を受け取り、前記治療光信号を第1のビーム経路に沿って前記外科手術プローブの前記1つ又は複数の光学素子に向けて導き、
前記プローブレーザー光源からプローブ光信号を受け取り、前記プローブ光信号を第2のビーム経路に沿って前記外科手術プローブの前記1つ又は複数の光学素子に向けて導き、
前記外科手術プローブ内の前記光学素子のうちの1つ又は複数によって引き起こされる前記プローブ光信号の反射を受け取り、前記プローブ光信号の前記反射を前記検出器に向けて導く、ように構成される一組の光学素子と、
プロセッサ、及び実行可能な命令を記憶するメモリを備える制御システムであって、前記制御システムは前記検出器に通信可能に結合され、前記命令は、前記プロセッサにより実行されると、前記制御システムが、
前記検出器によって生成された信号に基づいて、前記プローブ光信号の前記反射に関連した反射信号を検出し、
前記反射信号の検出に基づいて、前記治療レーザー光源を無効にする、ことを可能にする、制御システムと、を含むシステム。 - 前記プローブレーザー光源に通信可能に結合された関数発生器を更に含み、前記関数発生器は変調信号を生成して前記プローブレーザー光源により生成されるプローブ光信号を変調するように構成される、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記検出器、前記関数発生器、及び前記制御システムに通信可能に結合されたロックイン増幅器を更に含み、前記ロックイン増幅器は、前記変調信号に基づいて、前記検出器によって生成された前記信号から前記反射信号を抽出するように構成される、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記一組の光学素子は、前記プローブ光信号を前記第2のビーム経路に沿って透過させ、前記プローブ光信号の前記反射を前記検出器に向けて反射させるように構成されたビームスプリッタを含む、請求項9〜11の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記一組の光学素子は、前記治療光信号を透過させ、前記プローブ光信号を反射させるように構成されたダイクロイックミラーを含む、請求項9〜12の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記治療レーザー光源は、500〜600nmの間の波長を有する前記治療光信号を生成するように構成され、
前記プローブレーザー光源は、600〜700nmの間、又は800〜900nmの間の波長を有する前記プローブ光信号を生成するように構成される、請求項9〜13の何れか一項に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御システムは、前記反射信号の大きさが閾値を上回っているとの判断に基づいて、前記治療レーザー光源を無効にするように構成される、請求項9〜14の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
