Claims (2)
- 円筒状の缶本体(3)を備える電池缶(2)と、前記円筒状の缶本体(3)に収容され、セパレータによって絶縁されたアノード及びカソードを巻くことによって形成された電極組立体とを備える、特にリチウムイオン電池である、電池(1)であって、
前記缶本体(3)が、基部を形成する第一端部(4)と、前記基部(3)から長手方向に、開口部(9)を備える前記缶本体(3)の第二端部(7)まで延びる周囲側壁(5)とを有し、
前記第二端部(7)が、前記缶本体開口部(9)内部へ前記缶本体(3)に挿入されたキャップ組立体(8)によって閉じられ、
前記キャップ組立体(8)が、前記開口部(9)を囲む環状肩部(11)を、前記環状肩部(11)が前記キャップ組立体(8)の上部分に係合するように、内側にクリンプ加工することによって、前記缶本体に取り付けられている、
電池(1)において、
前記缶本体(3)の前記側壁(5)が、前記第二端部(7)において端縁部(10)で終わり、前記周囲側壁(5)の前記端縁部(10)が内側に延びるループ状に折り畳まれて前記環状肩部(11)を形成し、
前記内側環状肩部(11)の対向する内側壁面が互いに接し、前記端縁部(10)が、前記缶本体(3)の前記内側壁(5a)に接触し、
前記環状肩部(11)が、前記側壁(5)の前記端縁部(10)が前記缶本体の前記長手方向軸線から離れる方向に曲げられて、前記缶本体(3)の前記内側壁(5a)に向き、前記側壁(5)の前記第二端部(7)における端面が、前記缶本体(3)の前記長手方向から見て平坦な外側環状面(14)を形成するように、内側にクリンプ加工されており、
前記側壁(5)の一部分が内側にクリンプ加工されて、前記カバー組立体の下部分と係合する環状突起を形成している
ことを特徴とする電池(1)。 - 前記キャップ組立体(8)が正側電流出力端子を備え、前記環状肩部が負側電流出力端子を備える、又はその逆である、請求項1に記載の電池組立体。
