Claims (6)
- 車体側チューブと車軸側チューブとを有して伸縮可能なテレスコピック型のフォーク本体と、
前記車体側チューブの車体側端に装着されるキャップと、
前記車軸側チューブ内に設けられるシリンダと、
前記シリンダ内に軸方向へ移動自在に挿入されるとともに、一端が前記キャップに連結される筒状のロッドと、
前記シリンダ内に収容される電気機器と、
前記電気機器に接続されるとともに前記ロッド内に挿通されて前記キャップを貫通して前記フォーク本体から外方へ引き出される電線とを備え、
前記キャップは、前記ロッドに連結される接続筒を有し、
前記接続筒と前記ロッドの一方の外周の所定位置にて他方側への軸方向への移動が規制されるとともに回転自在に装着され、前記接続筒と前記ロッドの他方の外周に螺着される環状の連結ナットによって前記接続筒と前記ロッドとが連結される
ことを特徴とするフロントフォーク。 - 前記接続筒が前記ロッドのキャップ側端の内周或いは外周に嵌合され、
前記接続筒と前記ロッドのキャップ側端のうち内周側に配置される一方は、他方の端部に当接するフランジを有し、
前記接続筒と前記ロッドのキャップ側端のうち外周側に配置される他方は、外周に螺子部を有し、
前記連結ナットは、前記螺子部に螺着されて前記フランジを前記接続筒と前記ロッドのキャップ側端のうち外周側に配置される他方とで挟持して前記キャップと前記ロッドとを連結する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記連結ナットは、
前記螺子部に螺着される環状のナット部と、
前記ナット部の軸方向の一端に連なって、前記接続筒と前記ロッドのキャップ側端のうち内周側に配置される一方の外周に軸方向へ移動可能に装着される環状の延長部とを有し、
前記延長部の少なくとも一部の外周形状は、工具による把持を可能とする形状とされている
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記ロッドは、
前記シリンダ内に出入りする筒状の小径ロッドと、
一端が前記小径ロッドの反シリンダ側端に連結されるとともに前記小径ロッドよりも内径が大径な大径ロッドとを有し、
前記電線は、
前記小径ロッド内に収容される内方ケーブルと、
前記大径ロッド内に収容されるとともに前記キャップを貫通して前記フォーク本体から外方へ引き出される外方ケーブルと、
前記大径ロッド内に収容されて前記内方ケーブルと前記外方ケーブルとを接続するコネクタとを有し、
前記大径ロッドの他端が前記連結ナットによって前記キャップに連結される
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記ロッドのキャップ側端が前記接続筒の内周に嵌合されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記ロッドの外周に配置されて前記フォーク本体内に収容されるとともに前記フォーク本体を伸長方向へ付勢する懸架ばねと、
前記ロッドの外周であって前記フランジよりもシリンダ側に離間した位置に設けられて前記連結ナットの前記延長部のシリンダ側への移動を規制するストッパを備え、
前記ストッパは、前記懸架ばねの上端を支持可能な工具の取り付けを可能とする取付部を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項2に従属する請求項5に記載のフロントフォーク。
