Claims (5)
- インクが充填される圧力室と、
前記圧力室内の容積を変化させて当該圧力室に連通するノズルから液滴を吐出させるアクチュエータと、
前記液滴の吐出時には、前記圧力室内の容積を拡張させる拡張パルスと、前記圧力室内の容積を収縮させる収縮パルスと、を含む吐出パルスを前記アクチュエータに印加し、且つ、前記液滴を吐出しないタイミングにおいて、前記ノズルから前記液滴が吐出しない程度に前記圧力室内の容積を変化させる微振動パルスを前記アクチュエータに印加する駆動回路と、
を備え、
前記微振動パルスは、拡張パルス部と収縮パルス部を有し、
前記微振動パルスにおける前記拡張パルス部の中央位置は、前記吐出パルスにおける前記拡張パルスの中央位置に対応し、
前記微振動パルスにおける前記収縮パルス部の立ち下り位置は、前記吐出パルスにおける前記収縮パルスの立ち下り位置に対応する、
液滴吐出ヘッド。 - 前記微振動パルスにおける前記拡張パルス部及び前記収縮パルス部のパルス幅は、0.4AL以上(ALは前記圧力室の圧力の固有振動周期の半分)である、請求項1に記載の液滴吐出ヘッド。
- 前記駆動回路は、前記液滴を吐出しないとき、前記液滴を吐出する場合に前記アクチュエータに印加するべき前記吐出パルスのタイミングで、前記微振動パルスを前記アクチュエータに印加する、請求項1に記載の液滴吐出ヘッド。
- 前記液滴吐出ヘッドは、前記ノズルを複数備え、
前記駆動回路は、それぞれ複数の前記ノズルを含む複数のグループに分割し、グループ単位で前記吐出パルス及び前記微振動パルスの印加を制御し、
前記駆動回路はさらに、各グループにおける最初のノズルに対応する前記アクチュエータに前記吐出パルスを印加するのに先立って、前記最初のノズルに対応する前記アクチュエータに前記微振動パルスを印加する、請求項1に記載の液滴吐出ヘッド。 - 1つのドットを形成するために所定の個数の液滴を吐出するプリンタであって、
媒体を搬送する搬送部と、
インクが充填される圧力室と、
前記圧力室内の容積を変化させて当該圧力室に連通するノズルから前記液滴を吐出させるアクチュエータと、
前記液滴の吐出時には、前記圧力室内の容積を拡張させる拡張パルスと、前記圧力室内の容積を収縮させる収縮パルスと、を含む吐出パルスを前記アクチュエータに印加し、且つ、前記液滴を吐出しないタイミングにおいて、前記ノズルから前記液滴が吐出しない程度に前記圧力室内の容積を変化させる微振動パルスを前記アクチュエータに印加する駆動回路と、
を備える液滴吐出ヘッドと、
を備え、
前記微振動パルスは、拡張パルス部と収縮パルス部を有し、
前記微振動パルスにおける前記拡張パルス部の中央位置は、前記吐出パルスにおける前記拡張パルスの中央位置に対応し、
前記微振動パルスにおける前記収縮パルス部の立ち下り位置は、前記吐出パルスにおける前記収縮パルスの立ち下り位置に対応する、
