Abstract
Description
アルカリ電池の構造の形態は特に限定されないが、積層型の電池が加圧機構を取り付けるのに好都合である。
図2Aは、本発明の第2実施形態に係る固体電解質アルカリ電池の構造を示す一部破断断面図である。図2Bは、第2実施形態に係る固体電解質アルカリ電池の側面図である。アルカリ電池31は、第1実施形態と同様、水素吸蔵合金を主材料とした負極33と、水酸化ニッケルを主材料とした活物質からなる正極34と、固体電解質を有するポリオレフィン系の不織布からなるセパレータ35とを有する。なお、負極3と正極34とセパレータ35とを合わせて電極群32と称する。電極群32の周囲を取り囲むように形成された矩形の枠形部材37と、枠形部材37と電極群32とを上下から覆う矩形の第1蓋部材38と第2蓋部材39とによって角形のアルカリ電池31が構成されている。

Claims (9)
- 負極と、正極と、前記負極と前記正極の間に介在する固体電解質を有するセパレータとを備えた第1電極群と、
前記第1電極群を加圧する加圧機構と、
電解液と、を備えた固体電解質アルカリ電池。 - 前記セパレータがプラズマ処理またはフッ素ガス処理されている請求項1に記載の固体電解質アルカリ電池。
- 前記固体電解質が金属酸化物である請求項1または2に記載の固体電解質アルカリ電池。
- 前記金属酸化物がジルコニアまたは酸化イットリウムを含んでいる請求項3に記載の固体電解質アルカリ電池。
- 前記セパレータは不織布に比表面積が20~120m2/gの前記金属酸化物を均一に分散配置した請求項4に記載の固体電解質アルカリ電池。
- 前記金属酸化物が球状の粒子である請求項5に記載の固体電解質アルカリ電池。
- 前記第1電極群が、筒状の外装体の軸方向に沿って積層されており、
前記第1電極群を前記外装体の軸方向に沿って貫通している導電性を有する集電体を備えていて、
前記正極および前記負極のいずれか一方の電極が、前記外装体の内面に当接して、前記外装体と電気的に接続されている一方、前記集電体と接触しておらず、
前記正極および前記負極のいずれか他方の電極が、前記外装体に接触していない一方、前記集電体の外側面に当接して、前記集電体と電気的に接続されており、
前記加圧機構が前記第1電極群を前記外装体の軸方向に加圧する請求項6に記載の固体電解質アルカリ電池。 - 前記正極と前記負極とが蛇腹状の前記セパレータを挟んで交互に配置された第2電極群を有し、
前記第2電極群の側端部を囲む枠形部材と、前記枠形部材の開口部を対向して覆う第1蓋部材と第2蓋部材とを備え、
前記負極の上端部が前記第1蓋部材の内側の面に当接し、前記正極の下端部が前記第2蓋部材の内側の面に当接しており、
前記加圧機構が前記第2電極群を垂直方向に加圧する請求項6に記載の固体電解質アルカリ電池。 - 負極と正極の間に介在し、球状の粒子のジルコニアまたは酸化イットリウムが分散配置され、加圧機構により加圧が可能となっているアルカリ電池用セパレータ。
