1つの出発材料は、サブミクロン範囲の直径を有するセルロース小繊維を含むか、または当該セルロース小繊維からなるナノフィブリルセルロースを含む。ナノフィブリルセルロースは、低濃度においてさえ、自己凝集したヒドロゲル網状体を形成する。これらのナノフィブリルセルロースのゲルは、高度にせん断減粘性であり、天然の疑似プラスチックである。
ナノフィブリルセルロースは通常、植物起源のセルロース原材料から作製される。原材料は、セルロースを含む任意の植物材料に基づいてもよい。原材料は、特定の細菌発酵処理に由来してもよい。一実施形態において、植物材料は、木材である。木材は、トウヒ、マツ、モミ、カラマツ、ダグラスファー、もしくはツガなどの針葉樹、またはカバノキ、アスペン、ポプラ、ハンノキ、ユーカリノキ、オーク、ブナ、もしくはアカシアなどの広葉樹、または針葉樹および広葉樹の混合物から形成されてもよい。一実施形態において、ナノフィブリルセルロースは、木材パルプから得られる。一実施形態において、ナノフィブリルセルロースは、広葉樹パルプから得られる。一例において、広葉樹は、カバノキである。一実施形態において、ナノフィブリルセルロースは、広葉樹パルプから得られる。
ナノフィブリルセルロースを含む分散液を作製するための方法は、まず、ナノフィブリルセルロースと、任意に補助的薬剤、たとえば非ナノフィブリル化パルプまたは他の薬剤とを提供し、続いてそれらを所望量で含む分散液を形成することとを含む。一実施形態において、分散液は、水性分散液である。
一実施形態は、医療用製品を作製するための方法であって、ナノフィブリルセルロースの水性分散液を提供し、ガーゼの層を提供することを含む方法を提供し、ナノフィブリルセルロースは、本明細書に記載された分散液であってもよく、ガーゼは、本明細書に記載されたガーゼであってもよい。
表1は、様々なガーゼを用いた様々な含浸試験の結果を示す。試験AE5~AE7は、1つのImprexニップによって行われた。AE9には3つのニップがあり、AE10には2つのニップがあった。試験AH1~AH5は、それぞれ、3、4、4、5および4回の含浸処理で、1つのImprexニップを用いて行われた。乾燥温度は、全ての試験で90℃であった。試験AE5~AE10において、乾燥圧力は2バールであり、試験AH1~AH5において、乾燥圧力は5バールであった。乾燥は、テフロンプレートと布との間のプレスドライヤにおいて実施された。ゲル濃度は、全ての試験において0.8%であった。含浸処理は、含浸、ニップにおける押圧、および脱水を含む。使用されたガーゼは、パルプ-ポリプロピレン-ポリエステルガーゼ(AE7,AE9,AE10,AH3,AH4)、パルプ-ポリプロピレン-ポリエステルガーゼ(AE5)、パルプ-ポリプロピレンガーゼ(AH1,AH2)、パルプ系ガーゼ(AH5)であった。
様々なガーゼから作製された様々な医療用製品の特性が試験された。AJ1、AJ2、AK2およびAK3は、パルプ-ポリプロピレンガーゼである。AK1は、パルプ-ポリプロピレン-ポリエステルガーゼである。坪量および透気度は、調湿試料から測定された。この結果は、表3に示される。Md=縦方向、cd=横方向

ナノフィブリルセルロース水性分散液をガーゼの層に含浸させることと、

Claims (20)
- セルロース繊維原料から分離された小繊維または小繊維束を含むナノフィブリルセルロースを含浸させたガーゼの層を含み、
ナノフィブリルセルロースがガーゼに均一に分散し、別の層がナノフィブリルセルロースからガーゼの表面に形成されず、含浸されたガーゼが脱水されていることを特徴とする医療用製品。 - ナノフィブリルセルロースは、1μmを超える長さと200nm未満の直径とを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用製品。
- ナノフィブリルセルロースは、1~100nmおよび1~50nmから選択される範囲内にある小繊維の数平均径を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の医療用製品。
- ナノフィブリルセルロースは、水に分散したとき、5000~50000Pa・sの範囲内のゼロせん断粘度と、22℃で水性媒体中における0.5%(w/w)の濃度において回転式レオメータによって測定された、3~15Paの範囲内の降伏応力とをもたらすことを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- ナノフィブリルセルロースは、化学的に非修飾のセルロースおよび/または酵素的に非修飾のセルロースを含む非修飾ナノフィブリルセルロースを含むことを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- ナノフィブリルセルロースは、修飾ナノフィブリルセルロースを含むことを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- 修飾ナノフィブリルセルロースは、化学修飾ナノフィブリルセルロースまたは酵素修飾ナノフィブリルセルロースを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の医療用製品。
- 化学修飾ナノフィブリルセルロースは、酸化セルロースを含むアニオン性に修飾されたナノフィブリルセルロースを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の医療用製品。
- ガーゼは、不織布ガーゼおよび織物ガーゼから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- ガーゼは、天然ガーゼ、合成ガーゼ、および半合成ガーゼ、ならびにそれらの混合物から選択され、それらの混合物は、ポリプロピレンとセルロースとの混合物、またはポリプロピレンとポリエステルとセルロースとの混合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- 10~100mNm2/g、または15~70mNm2/gの範囲内の比引裂強さを有することを特徴とする請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- ISO534によってバルク厚さとして測定される300~700g/cm3、または350~530g/cm3の範囲内の密度を有することを特徴とする請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- 25~80g/m2、30~70g/m2、および35~65g/m2から選択される範囲内の坪量を有することを特徴とする請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- ナノフィブリルセルロース水分散液を提供することと、
ガーゼの層を提供することと、
ナノフィブリルセルロース水分散液を完全に前記ガーゼの層に含浸させることと、
含浸されたガーゼを脱水して医療用製品を得ることと、
を含む方法によって得られることを特徴とする請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。 - 方法は、ニップ、ポンドプレス、サイズプレスから選択される押圧装置による脱水前に、含浸されたガーゼを押圧することを含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の医療用製品。
- 治療薬を含むことを特徴とする請求項1~15のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- 美容用薬剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1~16のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- 移植片で覆われた皮膚創傷を含む、皮膚創傷または他の損傷を治療するおよび/または覆うための使用のための、請求項1~17のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- 治療薬を投与するための使用のための、請求項1~16のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品。
- 請求項1~15または17のいずれか1項に記載の医療用製品を含むことを特徴とする、包帯、マスク、または貼付剤から選択される美容用製品。
