Abstract
Description
応答性判断手段14は、排気センサ6の出力値の時間変化に基づいて、排気センサ6の応答性を演算する。詳細には、酸素センサ6の出力が応答性判断手段14に送られ、この出力に応じて排気センサ6の応答性が演算される。センサの挙動が安定している状態では、空燃比のフィードバック領域での排気センサ6の出力の時間変化は、図2に示す正弦波に近い形態となる。

Claims (8)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられて排気の成分を検出する排気センサの異常を判定する異常検出装置であって、
前記排気センサの出力値の時間変化に基づいて、前記排気センサの応答性を演算する応答性判断手段と、
前記応答性判断手段により演算された応答性が、予め定める応答閾値よりも低い場合に前記排気センサの異常を判定する異常判定手段と、を備え、
前記異常判定手段は、前記排気センサの出力値が、予め定める第1判定値から第2判定値に時間変化する間において、時間変化に対する出力値の傾きが反転またはゼロとなる除外機会を除いて、前記排気センサの異常を判定する排気センサの異常検出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の排気センサの異常検出装置において、前記異常判定手段は、前記検出値の時間変化の微分値に基づいて除外機会を検出する排気センサの異常検出装置。
- 請求項1または2に記載の排気センサの異常検出装置において、前記排気センサは、排気の酸素濃度を検出する酸素センサである排気センサの異常検出装置。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の排気センサの異常検出装置において、さらに、前記異常判定手段が異常と判定した場合に異常を報知する異常報知手段を備えた排気センサの異常検出装置。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の排気センサの異常検出装置において、前記内燃機関が多気筒エンジンであり、各気筒に接続される排気管が合流後の単一のパイプに前記排気センサが取り付けられている排気センサの異常検出装置。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の排気センサの異常検出装置を備えた自動二輪車。
- 請求項6に記載の自動二輪車において、車体の前後方向における運転者が座るシートとハンドルとの間に、前記内燃機関であるエンジンが配置され、
前記排気通路が、前記エンジンの前面から前方に延びたのち、屈曲して前記エンジンの後方に延びており、
前記排気通路における前記エンジンのシリンダ軸線よりも前方の領域に、前記排気センサが設けられている自動二輪車。 - 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられて排気の成分を検出する排気センサの異常を判定する異常検出方法であって、
前記排気センサの出力値の時間変化に基づいて、前記排気センサの応答性を演算する応答性判断過程と、
前記排気センサの出力値の時間変化に対する変化態様が、予め定める除外機会条件を満足する場合に除外機会と判定する除外判定過程と、
前記除外機会を除いて、前記応答性判断過程により演算された応答性に基づいて前記排気センサの異常を判定する異常判定過程と、を備えた排気センサの異常検出方法。
