(3)上記方法において、前記工程(c)は、前記工程(d)において前記補強パイプ部と前記補強ドーム部との境界で前記外ヘリカル層の下に形成される隙間となる部分に、樹脂を塗布する工程を含むものとしてもよい。
この方法によれば、工程(d)において隙間となる部分に、樹脂を予め塗布しておくので、隙間を更に小さくすることができる。
(4)上記方法において、前記工程(b)は、(i)前記補強ドーム部の前記開口端を含む端部に、前記補強ドーム部の他の部分よりも厚みの小さな薄肉部を形成する工程、を含むものとしてもよい。
この方法によれば、補強ドーム部の端部に薄肉部を形成することによって、補強パイプ部と外ヘリカル層との間の隙間を更に小さくすることができる。
(5)上記方法において、前記工程(i)は、前記補強ドーム部の前記端部における樹脂を減らすことによって、前記薄肉部を形成する工程であるものとしてもよい。
この方法によれば、補強ドーム部の端部の樹脂を減らすことによって薄肉部を形成できる。
(6)上記方法において、前記工程(b)は、マンドレルに樹脂含浸繊維を巻き付ける第1工程と、前記マンドレルに巻き付けた前記樹脂含浸繊維の樹脂を硬化させる第2工程と、を含み、前記工程(i)は、前記第2工程において、前記補強ドーム部の前記端部となる部分において前記樹脂含浸繊維の外側にゴムバンドを巻き付けた状態で前記樹脂の硬化を行う工程であるものとしてもよい。
この方法によれば、樹脂含浸繊維の外側にゴムバンドを巻き付けた状態で樹脂の硬化を行うことによって、補強ドーム部の端部の樹脂を減らして薄肉部を形成することができる。
<ウェットFW>
ウェットFWは、繊維束FBを巻き付ける直前に、低粘度化した液状の樹脂を繊維束FBに含浸させ、その樹脂含浸繊維束をマンドレルに巻き付ける方法である。
<ドライFW>
ドライFWは、線維束に予め樹脂を含浸させて乾燥させたトウプリプレグを準備し、トウプリプレグをマンドレルに巻き付ける方法である。
<RTM(Resin Transfer Molding)成形>
RTM成形は、雌雄一対の成形型内に繊維を設置し、型を閉締した後、樹脂注入口より樹脂を注入して繊維に含浸させて成形する方法である。
<CW(Centrifugal Winding)>
CWは、回転する円筒形の型の内面に繊維シートを貼り付けることによって筒状の部材を形成する方法である。繊維シートとしては、予め樹脂が含浸された繊維シートを用いてもよく、樹脂が含浸されていない繊維シートを用いてもよい。後者の場合には、繊維シートを筒状に巻いた後に、型内に樹脂を流し込んで繊維シートに樹脂を含浸させる。
Claims (6)
- ガスバリア性を有するライナと、前記ライナの周囲に配置された補強層とを有する高圧タンクを製造する方法であって、
(a)繊維強化樹脂製の補強パイプ部を形成する工程であって、前記補強パイプ部は、直管部と、前記直管部の両端にそれぞれ設けられ前記補強パイプ部の端部に向けて外径が縮小する縮径部とを含むように形成される、工程と、
(b)一端から他端の開口端に向けて外径が増大する形状を有する繊維強化樹脂製の補強ドーム部を形成する工程と、
(c)前記補強ドーム部の前記開口端が前記補強パイプ部の前記縮径部の外面上に位置するように前記補強ドーム部を前記補強パイプ部の両端にそれぞれ配置し、前記補強パイプ部と前記補強ドーム部を接合することによって接合体を形成する工程と、
(d)前記接合体の外面に樹脂含浸繊維をヘリカル巻きすることによって外ヘリカル層を形成することにより、前記補強パイプ部と前記補強ドーム部と前記外ヘリカル層とを含む前記補強層を形成する工程と、
を備える方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記工程(b)において、前記補強ドーム部は、前記補強ドーム部の最大外径が前記補強パイプ部の最大外径以下となるように形成される、方法。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の方法であって、
前記工程(c)は、前記工程(d)において前記補強パイプ部と前記補強ドーム部との境界で前記外ヘリカル層の下に形成される隙間となる部分に、樹脂を塗布する工程を含む、方法。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、
前記工程(b)は、(i)前記補強ドーム部の前記開口端を含む端部に、前記補強ドーム部の他の部分よりも厚みの小さな薄肉部を形成する工程、を含む、方法。 - 請求項4に記載の方法であって、
前記工程(i)は、前記補強ドーム部の前記端部における樹脂を減らすことによって、前記薄肉部を形成する工程である、方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって、
前記工程(b)は、
マンドレルに樹脂含浸繊維を巻き付ける第1工程と、
前記マンドレルに巻き付けた前記樹脂含浸繊維の樹脂を硬化させる第2工程と、
を含み、
前記工程(i)は、前記第2工程において、前記補強ドーム部の前記端部となる部分において前記樹脂含浸繊維の外側にゴムバンドを巻き付けた状態で前記樹脂の硬化を行う工程である、方法。
