Abstract
Description
即ち、本出願の一の発明に係る燃料電池車は、車体フレーム(例えば、実施形態の車体フレーム2)の前部に乗員室(例えば、実施形態の乗員室3)が配置されるとともに、前記車体フレームの前記乗員室の後方側が荷物搭載部(例えば、実施形態の荷物搭載部5)とされ、少なくとも前記荷物搭載部に水素取り扱い機器(例えば、実施形態の水素タンク11)が支持されている燃料電池車であって、前記荷物搭載部に支持された前記水素取り扱い機器の少なくとも上方と側方を取り囲む覆い室(例えば、実施形態の覆い室12f)を備え、前記車体フレームの荷物搭載部には荷室(例えば、実施形態の荷室4)が配置され、前記覆い室には、前記覆い室内の水素ガスを前記荷室と前記乗員室との間から上方に向けて排出する排出ダクト(例えば、実施形態の排出ダクト14f)が接続されていることを特徴とする。
この場合、万が一水素取り扱い機器から水素ガスが漏れることがあっても、その漏れ出た水素ガスの周囲への流れ出しを覆い室によって抑制し、覆い室内の水素ガスを排出ダクトを通して、荷室よりも高い位置から外部に排出することができる。したがって、この構成を採用した場合には、水素取り扱い機器から漏れた水素ガスが荷室の上部よりも低いに位置に流れ出すのを抑制することができる。
この場合、万が一前後覆い室内のいずれかの水素取り合い機器から水素ガスが漏れることがあっても、その水素ガスの漏れ出しを共通の水素検知センサによって検知することができる。
この構成により、万が一前後の覆い室内のいずれかの水素取り扱い機器から水素ガスが漏れ出た場合にも、漏れ出た水素ガスが前方側の覆い室、若しくは、排出ダクトに設置された水素検知センサのある部分に誘導される。このため、複数個所に分散して配置された水素取り扱い機器からの水素ガスの漏れを単一の水素検知センサによって迅速に検知することができる。
また、水素取り扱い機器からの水素ガスの漏れ出しは、水素検知センサによって検出することができる。万が一車両後方から他車両が追突した場合には、荷物搭載部の車両後方端によって水素検知センサを保護することができる。このため、車両後方から他車両が追突した場合でも、水素検知センサによって水素ガスの漏れ出しを検知することができる。
本実施形態の燃料電池車1は、荷物を載置可能なトラックである。燃料電池車1は、車体前後方向に沿って延びる車体フレーム2を備え、その車体フレーム2の前部に乗員室3が配置されている。車体フレーム2の乗員室3の後方側は、荷室4が設置される荷物搭載部5とされている。燃料電池車1は、図示しない車両駆動用のモータと、そのモータに電力を供給する燃料電池システム100と、を搭載している。
本実施形態では、各覆い室12f,12m,12rは下方側も壁によって閉塞されている。ただし、各覆い室12f,12m,12rは、内側に配置する水素タンク11の少なくとも上方と側方を取り囲むことができる構造であれば良い。
なお、本実施形態では、前方位置の覆い室12fの上部に水素検知センサSfが設置されているが、水素検知センサSfは排出ダクト14fに設置しても良い。
なお、本実施形態では、接続管13に水素検知センサSmが設置されているが、水素検知センサSmは、中間位置の覆い室12mの上部に設置しても良い。また、中間位置の覆い室12fの内部の水素タンク11から漏れ出た水素ガスは、接続管13を通して前方位置の覆い室12fに誘導されるため、中間位置に配置する水素検知センサSmは省略することも可能である。ただし、本実施形態のように中間位置に水素検知センサSmを設置した場合には、覆い室12f内の水素タンク11から水素ガスが漏れ出たときに、その水素ガスの漏れ出しを水素検知センサSmによって迅速に検出することができる。

- 車体フレームの前部に乗員室が配置されるとともに、前記車体フレームの前記乗員室の後方側が荷物搭載部とされ、
少なくとも前記荷物搭載部に水素取り扱い機器が支持されている燃料電池車であって、

後方側の各前記覆い室は、前方側の前記覆い室にそれぞれ前記接続管を介して接続され、
各前記接続管は、車両前方側に向かうにつれて上方に傾斜していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の燃料電池車。 - 車体フレームの前部に乗員室が配置されるとともに、前記車体フレームの前記乗員室の後方側が荷物搭載部とされ、
少なくとも前記荷物搭載部に水素取り扱い機器が支持されている燃料電池車であって、
前記荷物搭載部に支持された前記水素取り扱い機器の少なくとも上方と側方を取り囲む覆い室を備え、
後輪よりも車両後方側に配置される前記覆い室には、当該覆い室内の水素ガスを当該覆い室よりも車両後方側の上部に排出する排出ダクトが接続され、
前記排出ダクトのうちの前記荷物搭載部の車両後方端よりも前方側位置には、水素ガスを検知する水素検知センサが設置されていることを特徴とする燃料電池車。
