Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年7月31日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/712,591号の優先権を主張するものであり、その全開示は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
メルトインデックス(MI)を、2160グラムの重量を使用するASTM D−1238を使用して測定する。
表2にまとめているように、結果には、本発明の実施例2から得られたデータが含まれている。実施例2は、第1のエチレン酸コポリマーと第2のエチレン酸コポリマーとのブレンドである。実施例2は、70重量%の第1のエチレン酸コポリマー、比較例C1、および(b)30重量%の第2のエチレン酸コポリマー、10重量%のiBAおよび12重量%のMAMEを含み、190℃で測定したときに95g/10分のMIを有するE/iBA/MAMEターポリマーを含む。
表3にまとめているように、結果には、本発明の実施例3〜7から得られたデータが含まれている。実施例3〜7のコポリマー組成物を表3に記録している。実施例3、実施例4、実施例5、実施例6、および実施例7は、220℃〜250℃の溶融温度を使用して、混合スクリューを備えた26mm二軸スクリュー押出機内で調製した。
Claims (16)
- エチレン酸コポリマーと脂肪族単官能性有機酸との中和されたブレンドを含むアイオノマーであって、前記ブレンドが、
前記ブレンドの総重量%に基づいて、60〜95重量%の前記エチレン酸コポリマーであって、
エチレンと、
前記エチレン酸コポリマー中に存在する前記モノマーの総重量%に基づいて、1〜40重量%のアクリル酸アルキルと、
前記エチレン酸コポリマー中に存在する前記モノマーの総重量%に基づいて、0〜20重量%のモノカルボン酸モノマーと、
前記エチレン酸コポリマー中に存在する前記モノマーの総重量%に基づいて、2〜15重量%の不飽和ジカルボン酸モノマーと、の重合反応生成物であるエチレン酸コポリマーと、
前記ブレンドの総重量%に基づいて、5〜40重量%の脂肪族単官能性有機酸であって、前記脂肪族単官能性有機酸が、36個未満の炭素原子を有する、脂肪族単官能性有機酸と、を含み、
前記ブレンドの総酸単位の少なくとも30モルパーセントが、マグネシウム中和塩のマグネシウムカチオンで中和されている、アイオノマー。 - 前記エチレン酸コポリマーが、1〜20重量%のアクリル酸アルキルを含む、請求項1に記載のアイオノマー。
- 第1のエチレン酸コポリマーと、第2のエチレン酸コポリマーと、脂肪族単官能性有機酸との中和されたブレンドを含むアイオノマーであって、前記ブレンドが、
前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマーが、
エチレンと;
前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、2〜20重量%のモノカルボン酸モノマーと、
前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、0〜40重量%のアクリル酸アルキルと、の重合反応生成物であることと、
前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマーが、
エチレンと;
前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在する前記モノマーの総重量%に基づいて、1〜40重量%のアクリル酸アルキルと、
前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在する前記モノマーの総重量%に基づいて、0〜20重量%のモノカルボン酸モノマーと、
前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在する前記モノマーの総重量%に基づいて、2〜15重量%の不飽和ジカルボン酸モノマーと、の重合反応生成物であり、
前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマーと前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマーとの比率が、90/10重量%〜10/90重量%であることと、
前記ブレンドの総重量%に基づいて、5〜40重量%の脂肪族単官能性有機酸であって、前記脂肪族単官能性有機酸が、36個未満の炭素原子を有する、脂肪族単官能性有機酸と、を含み、
前記ブレンドの総酸単位の少なくとも30モルパーセントが、マグネシウム中和塩のマグネシウムカチオンで中和されている、アイオノマー。 - 前記ブレンドの総酸単位の少なくとも70モルパーセントが、前記マグネシウム塩のマグネシウムカチオンで中和されている、請求項1または請求項3に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記ブレンドが、中和塩の少なくとも1つの追加のカチオン、亜鉛塩、リチウム塩、およびナトリウム塩から選択される中和塩でさらに中和されている、請求項1または請求項3に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記ブレンドの総酸単位が、80〜100モルパーセントの範囲で中和され、前記ブレンドの総酸単位の30〜80モルパーセントが、前記マグネシウム塩の前記マグネシウムカチオンで中和されている、請求項3に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマーが、20〜30重量%のアクリル酸アルキルを含む、請求項1に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記不飽和モノカルボン酸モノマーが、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、またはそれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記ブレンドの総酸単位の80〜100%が、マグネシウムカチオンで中和されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記不飽和ジカルボン酸モノマーが、無水マレイン酸、無水マレイン酸モノメチルエステル、無水マレイン酸モノエチルエステル、無水マレイン酸モノプロピルエステル、無水マレイン酸モノブチルエステル、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記アクリル酸アルキルが、アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸n−ブチルもしくはアクリル酸イソブチル、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記脂肪族単官能性有機酸が、4〜36個の炭素原子を有する脂肪酸であり、任意選択で、C1〜C8アルキル基からなる群から独立して選択される1〜3個の置換基で置換されている、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記脂肪酸が、ベヘン酸、ステリン酸、オレイン酸、エルカ酸、12−ヒドロキシステアリン酸、およびイソステアリン酸のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項12に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマーと前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマーとの比率が、90/10重量%〜60/40重量%である、請求項3〜15のいずれか一項に記載のアイオノマー。
- 請求項1〜14のいずれかの一項に記載のアイオノマーを含む成形品または発泡体。
- 前記成形品が、少なくとも80℃の改善された耐クリープ性を示し、前記成形品が、80℃で30分間、20psiの応力下で25%未満の寸法変化を示す、請求項15に記載の成形品。
