Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- M×Nアレイ配列の画素を含む表示パネルに応用されるデータ処理方法において、
表示中の第i行、第j(n−1<j≦N)−n(1≦n≦N)+1列、……、第j−1列、第j列を含む隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データであって、各画素に対応する駆動トランジスタの閾値電圧を算出するための電圧データを取得することと、
記憶されている第i(m−1<i≦M)行の前のm(1<m<M)−1行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データに基づいて、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であるかを判断することと、
第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であれば、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データのフィルタリング処理を行い、フィルタリング処理後の電圧データから算出された閾値電圧と実閾値電圧との差を第1閾値差以下にすることと
を含む、データ処理方法。 - 前記第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データは、
第i行第j列の画素に対応する駆動トランジスタのソース電圧を含む、請求項1に記載のデータ処理方法。 - 記憶されている第i行の前のm−1行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データに基づいて、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であるかを判断することは、
第i行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データと第i行の前のm−1行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データに基づいて、特徴値を算出することと、
第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データと前記特徴値に基づいて、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であるかを判断することと
を含む、請求項1に記載のデータ処理方法。 - 前記特徴値は、
平均値または加重平均値であり、
前記特徴値が加重平均値である場合、
第i行第j列の画素に近い画素ほど、それに対応する重みが大きくなる、請求項3に記載のデータ処理方法。 - 第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データと前記特徴値に基づいて、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であるかを判断することは、
第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データと前記特徴値の差が第2閾値差より大きくなるかを判断し、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データと前記特徴値の差が第2閾値差より大きくなると、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であると特定することを含む、請求項3または4に記載のデータ処理方法。 - 前記第2閾値差は、
特徴値のK(0.1≦K≦0.2)倍である、請求項5に記載のデータ処理方法。 - 第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データのフィルタリング処理を行うことは、
第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データを前記特徴値に修正することを含む、請求項5に記載のデータ処理方法。 - 第i+1行の画素が表示される場合、第i+1行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データを記憶することをさらに含む、請求項7に記載のデータ処理方法。
- 修正後の第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データに基づいて、第i行第j列の画素を補償することをさらに含む、請求項7に記載のデータ処理方法。
- M×Nアレイ配列の画素を含む表示パネルに応用されるデータ処理装置において、
表示中の第i行、第j(n−1<j≦N)−n(1≦n≦N)+1列、……、第j−1列、第j列を含む隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データであって、各画素に対応する駆動トランジスタの閾値電圧を算出するための電圧データを取得する取得回路と、
記憶されている第i(m−1<i≦M)行の前のm(1<m<M)−1行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データに基づいて、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であるかを判断する判断回路と、
第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であれば、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データのフィルタリング処理を行い、フィルタリング処理後の電圧データから算出された閾値電圧と実閾値電圧との差を第1閾値差以下にするフィルタリング回路と
を含む、データ処理装置。 - m−1個の記憶回路をさらに含み、
ここで、第k(1≦k≦m−1)個の記憶回路は、
第i−m+k行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データを記憶する、請求項10に記載のデータ処理装置。 - 前記判断回路は、
第i行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データと第i行の前のm−1行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データに基づいて、特徴値を算出し、
第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データと前記特徴値の差が第2閾値差より大きくなるかを判断し、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データと前記特徴値の差が第2閾値差より大きくなると、第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データが異常であると特定する、請求項11に記載のデータ処理装置。 - 前記フィルタリング回路は、
第i行第j列の画素に対応する電圧データを前記特徴値に修正する、請求項12に記載のデータ処理装置。 - 第i+1行の画素が表示される場合、第i+1行、隣接するn列の画素に対応する電圧データを、第m−1個の記憶回路に記憶し、
第k個の記憶回路に記憶されているデータは、ストリーム形式で第k−1個の記憶回路に入力され、第k−1個の記憶回路に記憶されているデータを置換する、
請求項11に記載のデータ処理装置。 - プロセッサで実行可能なコンピュータプログラムが記憶されているコンピュータ読み取り可能な媒体であって、
前記コンピュータプログラムが前記プロセッサによって実行されると、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のデータ処理方法が実現される、コンピュータ読み取り可能な媒体。
