Claims (11)
- 複数のバッテリーセルを含み、前記バッテリーセルのそれぞれのリードが互いに接合されたリード接合部が形成されているバッテリーセル組立体を含むバッテリーモジュールにおいて、
前記バッテリーセル組立体の側面に該当する、前記バッテリーセル組立体内のバッテリーセルのうち両側端に位置するバッテリーセルの表面に吸熱部が位置する熱電素子と、
前記バッテリーモジュールの過電圧発生時に前記バッテリーモジュールの電流を前記熱電素子側に迂回させる定電圧素子とをさらに含み、
前記バッテリーモジュールに過電圧が発生したとき、前記熱電素子を駆動することで前記バッテリーモジュールのバッテリーセル組立体を電子冷却する、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記定電圧素子は、前記リード接合部に取り付けられた、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記定電圧素子は、前記リード接合部においていずれか1つのバッテリーセルの正極リードと他の1つのバッテリーセルの負極リードとの間に並列で連結されている、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記定電圧素子は、ツェナーダイオードまたはバリスタである、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記定電圧素子の破壊電圧が前記バッテリーモジュールの満充電電圧よりも大きい、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記定電圧素子は、前記バッテリーモジュールの電圧状態を感知するセンシング回路内に備えられ、前記定電圧素子の破壊電圧到達時に前記バッテリーモジュールの電流を前記熱電素子側に流すことができる回路が前記定電圧素子と熱電素子との間に備えられている、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記熱電素子は、前記バッテリーセル組立体の側面に板状で備えられる、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記熱電素子上に、前記バッテリーセル組立体の側面に垂直な方向に突出した複数の放熱フィンをさらに含む、請求項7に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーセル組立体の側面を覆うエンドプレートをさらに含み、前記エンドプレートに前記放熱フィンが嵌められる溝が形成されている、請求項8に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 少なくとも1つの請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールと、
前記少なくとも1つのバッテリーモジュールをパッケージングするパックケースとを含む、バッテリーパック。 - 少なくとも1つの請求項10に記載のバッテリーパックを含む、自動車。
