Claims (11)
- 複数のバッテリーセルを含み、前記バッテリーセルのそれぞれのリードが互いに接合されたリード接合部が形成されているバッテリーモジュールにおいて、
前記リード接合部に取り付けられた熱電素子と、
前記バッテリーモジュールの過電圧発生時に前記バッテリーモジュールの電流を前記熱電素子側に迂回させる定電圧素子とをさらに含み、
前記バッテリーモジュールに過電圧が発生したとき、前記熱電素子を駆動することで前記バッテリーモジュールのリード接合部を電子冷却する、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記定電圧素子は、前記リード接合部に取り付けられた、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記定電圧素子は、前記リード接合部においていずれか1つのバッテリーセルの正極リードと他の1つのバッテリーセルの負極リードとの間に並列で連結されている、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記定電圧素子は、ツェナーダイオードまたはバリスタである、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記定電圧素子の破壊電圧が前記バッテリーモジュールの満充電電圧よりも大きい、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記定電圧素子は、前記バッテリーモジュールの電圧状態を感知するセンシング回路内に備えられ、前記定電圧素子の破壊電圧到達時に前記バッテリーモジュールの電流を前記熱電素子側に流すことができる回路が前記定電圧素子と熱電素子との間に備えられている、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記リード接合部は、一側のバッテリーセルのリードが90度折り曲げられて設けられた折曲部と、前記一側のバッテリーセルに隣接した他のバッテリーセルのリードが反対方向に90度折り曲げられて設けられた折曲部とか重ねられて溶接された平坦部を含み、前記熱電素子は前記平坦部に取り付けられる、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記熱電素子は、前記リード接合部毎に取り付けられている、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーセルは、パウチ型バッテリーセルである、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
