Claims (11)
- 複数のバッテリーセルと複数の雲母隔壁アセンブリとが積層されて形成されたセル積層体、及び前記セル積層体の両側面に結合される一対のバスバーフレームを含むセル積層体アセンブリと、
前記セル積層体アセンブリを収容し、前記セル積層体アセンブリの前方、後方及び両側部に対応する位置に形成される複数の流路孔を備えるハウジングとを含み、
前記雲母隔壁アセンブリは、隣接したバッテリーセル同士の間及び前記セル積層体の最外郭に備えられ、基準温度未満では前記セル積層体の積層方向に沿って流路を形成し、基準温度以上では前記流路を遮断するように動作する、ESSモジュール。 - 前記雲母隔壁アセンブリは、
上端及び下端の少なくとも一方に形成された流路溝を備える雲母隔壁と、
前記流路溝の一部を満たし、基準温度以上で膨張して前記流路溝を完全に満たす第1膨張グラファイトシートとを含む、請求項1に記載のESSモジュール。 - 前記バッテリーセルは、パウチ型バッテリーセルであり、幅方向の両側部に貼り付けられるシーリングテープを備える、請求項1または2に記載のESSモジュール。
- 前記ESSモジュールは、前記セル積層体の積層方向の両側部に密着して前記セル積層体を加圧し、前記バスバーフレームに固定される一対の加圧プレートをさらに含む、請求項3に記載のESSモジュール。
- 前記ハウジングは、
前記セル積層体アセンブリの下部を覆う下部プレート、前記セル積層体アセンブリの前方を覆う前方プレート及び前記セル積層体アセンブリの後方を覆う後方プレートを含む下部ハウジングと、
前記セル積層体アセンブリの上部を覆う上部プレート及び前記セル積層体アセンブリの両側部を覆う一対の側方プレートを含む上部ハウジングとを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のESSモジュール。 - 前記ESSモジュールは、前記前方プレートとセル積層体アセンブリとの間及び前記後方プレートとセル積層体アセンブリとの間に介在されるメッシュ隔壁アセンブリをさらに含む、請求項5に記載のESSモジュール。
- 前記メッシュ隔壁アセンブリは、
上端及び下端の少なくとも一方に形成された結合溝を備えるメッシュ隔壁と、
前記結合溝を満たしながらメッシュ隔壁に結合され、基準温度以上で前記流路孔が消えるように膨張する第2膨張グラファイトシートとを含む、請求項6に記載のESSモジュール。 - 前記ESSモジュールは、前記側方プレートとセル積層体アセンブリとの間に介在されるメッシュプレートをさらに含む、請求項5から7のいずれか一項に記載のESSモジュール。
- 前記ESSモジュールは、前記セル積層体とメッシュプレートとの間に介在されて前記メッシュプレートと並んで配置され、複数の流路孔を備える第1雲母プレートをさらに含む、請求項8に記載のESSモジュール。
- 前記ESSモジュールは、前記セル積層体とメッシュプレートとの間に配置されて前記メッシュプレートと垂直に配置され、前記バスバーフレームの内部空間を区画する第2雲母プレートをさらに含む、請求項9に記載のESSモジュール。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のESSモジュールを複数個含む、ESSパック。
