(b)前記流体中に分散した複数の第3および複数の第4の粒子であって、前記第3および第4の粒子は反対の極性の電荷を帯び、前記第3および第4の粒子は、それぞれ、互いに異なり、前記第2の粒子とも異なる減法混色の原色を有する、第3および第4の粒子とをさらに含み、
前記第3および前記第4の種類の粒子によって形成された凝集体を分離するために必要な電界が、他の任意の2種類の粒子から形成された凝集体を分離するために必要な電界よりも大きい、請求項13に記載の電気泳動媒体。 - 前記流体に加えて、
(a)前記流体中に分散した複数の第1および複数の第4の粒子であって、前記第1および第4の粒子は反対の極性の電荷を帯び、それぞれ、少なくとも約60重量%のアクリレートまたはメタクリレートエステルモノマーを含むポリマーコーティングを有し、前記エステル基は少なくとも約6個の炭素原子を含む炭化水素鎖を含み、前記第1および第4の粒子の一方は光散乱性粒子であり、前記第1および第4の粒子の他方は減法混色の原色の1つを有する、実質的に非光散乱性の粒子である、第1および第4の粒子と;
(b)前記流体中に分散した複数の第2の粒子であって、前記第2の粒子は前記第4の粒子と同じ極性の電荷を帯び、少なくとも約60重量%のポリジメチルシロキサン含有モノマーを含むポリマーコーティングを有し、前記第1および第4の粒子のうちの前記実質的に非光散乱性の粒子とは異なる減法混色の原色を有し、前記第2の粒子が前記本発明の顔料粒子である、第2の粒子と;
(c)前記第1の粒子と同じ極性の電荷を帯びている複数の第3の粒子であって、実質的に非光散乱性であり、前記第1および第4の粒子のうちの前記実質的に非光散乱性の粒子のものとは異なり前記第2の粒子とも異なる減法混色の原色を有する、第3の粒子と
をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の電気泳動媒体。 - 請求項13に記載の電気泳動媒体の層と、前記電気泳動媒体の層に隣接して配置されて、そこに電界を印加するように構成された少なくとも1つの電極とを含む電気泳動ディスプレイ。
