Claims (11)
- 生存微生物の不活化方法において、
所定容積体内で、
前記所定容積体の幾何学的形状に基づいて、複数の天井取付型、直流(DC)又は交流(AC)、両極性又は定常状態のイオンエミッターモジュールを設置し、
各々が高電圧電源(HVPS)を備える前記複数の天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールを用いて、DC又はAC、両極性又は定常状態の非熱プラズマ(NTP)を生成することにより、生存微生物を不活化することを含む方法。 - 前記複数の天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールの前記設置は、目標イオン密度に基づく前記所定容積体内のモジュール密度を有するように前記複数の天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールを配置することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記目標イオン密度は、前記所定容積体内の部分容積体に対応する請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールをコントローラーモジュールに接続することと、
前記コントローラーモジュールを用いて前記複数の天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールを制御することとを更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記非熱プラズマの前記生成は、パルス状DCモード、定常状態DCモード又はACモードのうちの少なくとも1つで前記非熱プラズマを発生させるように、前記複数の天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールの少なくとも一部分を制御することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールの前記設置は、該天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールに、該天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールのエミッターを保護するステンレス鋼シュラウドを設けることを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記非熱プラズマの前記生成は、交番極性を有する非熱プラズマを発生させることを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記非熱プラズマの前記生成は、前記複数の天井取付型イオンエミッターモジュールのうちの異なるものを用いて異なるプラズマ密度で該非熱プラズマを発生させることを含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記非熱プラズマの前記生成は、該非熱プラズマに前記所定容積体を横断させることを更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記非熱プラズマの前記生成は、前記所定空間内に存在する細菌、芽胞、真菌及びウイルスの、該細菌、芽胞、真菌及びウイルスの少なくともそれぞれの閾値割合での不活性化を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記非熱プラズマの前記生成は、中性の正味電荷を生成することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
