式1の化合物、例えばエチルカプサイシンを、サプリメント、例えばビタミンサプリメントに混合する。ビタミン欠乏症を有する対象をグループ分けする。各グループは以下のサプリメントのいずれかを受ける:エチルカプサイシン及びビタミンを有するサプリメント(S+E+Vit);エチルカプサイシンを有するが、ビタミンを含まないサプリメント(S+E−Vit);エチルカプサイシン及びビタミンを含まないサプリメント(S−E−Vit);又はビタミンを含む通常のサプリメント(S−E+Vit)。対象は、定期的なサプリメントによりビタミン欠乏症を回復させることが知られている所定の期間、所定の間隔でサプリメントを摂取する。いくつかのS+E+Vitグループが存在し、ここで各グループは、種々の濃度のエチルカプサイシン及び/又はビタミンのサプリメントを受ける。ビタミン濃度が、S−E+Vitのビタミン濃度と比較して低められる。所定期間の最後で、どの対象がビタミン欠乏症を有し、そしてどの対象がビタミン欠乏症を克服したかについての評価を実施する。これから、S+E−Vitグループの対象が、S−E+Vitグループの対象との比較レベルで、ビタミンレベルを回復したかを判断することができる。
式1の化合物、例えばフェニルカプサイシン、及び魚ワクチンに利用される少なくとも1つの活性物質を含む組成物が、経口魚ワクチンの製剤に存在する(Vac+P+AS)。活性物質の濃度は、通常の経口魚ワクチンにおける活性物質の濃度に比較して、低められる。種々の濃度のフェニルカプサイシン及び/又は活性物質を有するいくつかの製剤があり得る。魚を、それらが受けるかどうかに従って以下のようにグループ分けする:Vac+P+AS;フェニルカプサイシンを含むが、しかし活性物質を含まない経口魚ワクチン(Vac+P−AS);フェニルカプサイシン及び活性物質を含まない経口魚ワクチン(Vac−P−AS);及び活性物質を含むが、しかしフェニルカプサイシンを含まない通常の経口魚ワクチン(Vac−P+AS)。魚には、それぞれの用量が与えられる。所定の時間の後、グループの罹患率及び/又は死亡率が評価され、そして比較される。これから、どのVac+P+ASグループが、Vac−P−ASグループに匹敵する罹患率及び/又は死亡率を示したかを決定することが可能である。
チトクロームP450酵素に対するフェニルカプサイシンの阻害効果を調べるためには、96ウェルフォーマットでの蛍光分光法に基づくアッセイを用いての研究を実施すべきである。このフォーマットは、チトクロームP450酵素のアイソザイム活性の個別な測定を可能にする。非蛍光基質は、アイソザイムにより切断される。非蛍光基質は、切断の後、蛍光性になる。従って、蛍光の存在は、アイソザイム活性を示している。そのような蛍光が測定される。フェニルカプサイシンによるアイソザイムの阻害は、製剤へのフェニルカプサイシンの添加により測定できる。フェニルカプサイシンの添加は、アイソザイム活性の変化を示す蛍光を変える。アイソザイム活性の低下はフェニルカプサイシンにより引き起こされるアイツザイム阻害を示す。これは、フェニルカプサイシンが添加されていない製剤と比較して、蛍光の程度が低いことにより明らかになる。それらの測定は、用量応答関係を確立するために、異なる濃度の基質、アイソザイム及び/又はフェニルカプサイシンを有する調製物において行われる。他のバイオエンハンサー、例えばカプサイシン又はピペリンが試験され得る。これは、フェニルカプサイシンと他のバイオエンハンサーとの間の比較研究を可能にする。
Claims (23)
- Rが、C1-C6アルキル、好ましくはC1-C4アルキル、より好ましくはイソプロピル又はC4アルキルである、請求項1に記載の化合物。
- Rがフェニルである、請求項1に記載の化合物。
- 経口投与のための、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の化合物。
- 下記式(1):
- 少なくとも1つの活性物質、その互変異性体又は塩に対してバイオエンハンス効果を有する少なくとも1つの追加の化合物を、さらに含む、請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの活性物質、その互変性体又は塩が、以下の群:アミノグリコシド; 抗関節炎; 抗生物質; 抗癌剤; 抗真菌; 抗ヒスタミン剤; 抗炎症; 駆虫剤; 抗潰瘍; 心血管; セファロスポリン; 抗痙攣薬、麻酔薬、抗精神病薬、抗うつ薬、抗不安薬、バルビツール酸塩及び/又はベンゾジアゼピン(但し、それらだけには限定されない)を含むCNS薬;コルチコステロイド; フルオロキノロン; マクロライド; 及び/又はNSAID薬のいずれかから選択される、請求項5又は6に記載の組成物。
- 経口投与のための、請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- Rが、C1-C6アルキル、好ましくはC1-C4アルキル、より好ましくはイソプロピル又はC4アルキルである、請求項9に記載の使用。
- Rがフェニルである、請求項9に記載の使用。
- 前記飼料、食品又はサプリメントが少なくとも1つの活性物質、その互変性体又は塩を含み、前記化合物が少なくとも1つの活性物質、その互変異性体又は塩に対してバイオエンハンス効果を有する、請求項9に記載の使用。
- 前記少なくとも1つの活性物質、その互変異性体又は塩が、以下の群:ビタミン、脂肪酸、タンパク質、炭水化物、ミネラル、微量元素及び/又は着色剤のいずれかから選択される、請求項9に記載の使用。
- 前記飼料が、種子、トウモロコシ、ワーム、キビ、オート麦、ピーナッツ、大豆、魚粉、天然油、海藻、微細藻類から成る群の1又は2以上から選択された飼料成分を含み、そしてペレット、スラリー、飲料水及び/又はエマルジョンの形で存在する、請求項9に記載の使用。
- 少なくとも1つの活性成分、その互変異性体又は塩、及び少なくとの1つの下記式(1):
- Rが、C1-C6アルキル、好ましくはC1-C4アルキル、より好ましくはイソプロピル又はC4アルキルである、請求項15に記載の組成物。
