(5)(1)乃至(3)に記載の抽出剤を用いて希土類金属又は鉄を抽出した後、酸性水溶液を用いて希土類金属又は鉄を逆抽出する希土類金属又は鉄の回収方法。

で表される化合物を含む、希土類金属又は鉄の抽出剤である。式Iで表される化合物は、スカンジウムとその他の希土類金属を含む溶液からスカンジウムのみを完全に分離抽出することができる。また、イットリウムなどの希土類金属と鉄を含む溶液から鉄のみを抽出、即ち、イットリウムと鉄とを分離して回収することができる。
本発明による金属の回収方法は、金属イオンを含有する酸性水溶液のpHを適宜調整し、該水溶液からなる水相を、本発明の式Iで表される抽出剤を含有する有機相に接触させることにより、所望の金属イオンを有機相中に抽出する。
本発明による抽出工程は、金属を含有する水相から、本発明の式Iで表される化合物を含有する有機相に金属を抽出するものである。水相には、少なくとも本発明の抽出剤にて抽出可能な金属が含有され、例えば、少なくともスカンジウムやイットリウムなどの希土類金属又は鉄やニッケルなどの重金属を含有するようにする。水相中の金属は、通常、前述したように酸の共役塩基との塩又は錯体イオンの形態で存在する。水相中の金属の濃度は、それぞれ独立して、1×10−4〜1Mであることが好ましく、より好ましくは1×10−3〜0.1Mである。
抽出率(%)=(初期金属イオン濃度[mmol dm−3]−平衡後の水相の金属イオン濃度[mmol dm−3])/初期金属イオン濃度[mmol dm−3]×100
Claims (5)
- 前記化合物は、N−ラウロイルサルコシンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の希土類金属又は鉄の抽出剤。
- 前記希土類金属は、スカンジウム又はイットリウムであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の希土類金属の抽出剤。
- 金属を含有する酸性水溶液から請求項1乃至3に記載の抽出剤を用いて金属を抽出する工程を含む、希土類金属又は鉄の抽出方法。
- 請求項1乃至3に記載の抽出剤を用いて希土類金属又は鉄を抽出した後、酸性水溶液を用いて希土類金属又は鉄を逆抽出することを特徴とする希土類金属又は鉄の回収方法。
