Description
また、本発明は、上述したカラーフィルタを含む画像表示装置を提供する。
本発明において、散乱粒子は、青色光源から放出された光の経路を増加させて全体的な光効率を高める役割を果たす。
本発明において、分散剤は、酸価10〜90mgKOH/gおよびアミン価10〜90mgKOH/gを満たす分散剤を含む。本発明の分散剤は、酸価とアミン価を同時に満たすことにより、効果的に散乱粒子とモノマーを同時に分散剤に付着してインク組成物に優れた分散性を与える役割を果たす。
本発明において、硬化性モノマーは、インクジェット工程において密着力を与える効果を提供する。
本発明において、硬化性モノマーは、本発明が目的とする分散性に影響がない程度で一般的に含まれる硬化性モノマーをさらに含んでもよい。
前記化学式1で表される化合物の具体例としては、ポリエチレングリコール200ジ(メタ)アクリレート(polyethylene glycol 200 diacrylate)、ポリエチレングリコール400ジ(メタ)アクリレート(polyethylene glycol 400 diacrylate)、ポリエチレングリコール600ジ(メタ)アクリレート(polyethylene glycol 600 diacrylate)などが挙げられる。
前記化学式3で表される化合物の例としては、2−(メタ)アクリロイルオキシエチルスクシネートなどが挙げられる。
本発明の一実施形態に係るインク組成物は、光重合開始剤を追加的に含んでもよい。
本発明は、ジェッティング性に影響がない程度で通常の添加剤をさらに含んでもよい。具体的には、上記の成分のほか、塗膜の平坦性または密着性を増進させるために、界面活性剤、密着促進剤のような添加剤を追加的に含んでもよい。
本発明のカラーフィルタは、通常の液晶表示装置(LCD)だけでなく、電界発光表示装置(EL)、プラズマ表示装置(PDP)、電界放出表示装置(FED)、有機発光素子(OLED)などの各種画像表示装置に適用可能である。
散乱粒子として粒径210nmのTiO2(石原社のCR−63)65.0重量部、分散剤3.9重量部、および1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート(モノマー)31.1重量部をビーズミルによって12時間混合および分散して、散乱粒子分散液を製造した。
下記表1に記載の構成および含有量でインク組成物を製造した。

<光散乱コーティング層の製造>
実施例および比較例で製造されたそれぞれのインク組成物をインクジェット方式で5cm×5cmのガラス基板上に塗布した後、紫外線光源としてg、h、i線をすべて含む1kWの高圧水銀灯を用いて1000mJ/cm2で照射後、180℃の加熱オーブンで30分間加熱して光散乱コーティング層を製造した。
塗膜の表面特性は、熱工程(180℃/30分)の後、10.00μmの厚さのピクセル表面を光学顕微鏡で観察して、下記の評価基準で評価した。
O:ピクセル表面にTiO2のかたまりが発生しない(図1参照)
X:ピクセル表面にTiO2のかたまりが発生した(図2参照)
(2)密着性
前記インク組成物で製造されたコーティング層で国際標準(ASTM D3359)によるクロスカット試験(Cross−Cut Adhesion Test)を進行させた。
Claims (11)
- 散乱粒子、硬化性モノマー、および分散剤を含むインク組成物であって、
前記分散剤は、酸価10〜90mgKOH/gおよびアミン価10〜90mgKOH/gである、インク組成物。 - 前記分散剤は、インク組成物総100重量%に対して、0.01〜5重量%含まれるものである、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記硬化性モノマーは、インク組成物総100重量%に対して、40〜98重量%含まれるものである、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記散乱粒子は、インク組成物総100重量%に対して、1〜20重量%含まれる、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記インク組成物は、光重合開始剤および添加剤から選択される1種以上をさらに含むものである、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記散乱粒子は、Al2O3、SiO2、ZnO、ZrO2、BaTiO3、TiO2、Ta2O5、Ti3O5、ITO、IZO、ATO、ZnO−Al、Nb2O3、SnO、およびMgOからなる群より選択される1種以上である、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記インク組成物は、無溶剤形態である、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のインク組成物の硬化物を用いて製造された光散乱画素。
- 請求項9に記載の光散乱画素を含むカラーフィルタ。
- 請求項10に記載のカラーフィルタを含む画像表示装置。
