黒鉛とシリコン系の活物質とを含む負極と、
前記正極又は前記負極にリチウムイオンを供給するリチウムイオン供給極と、
前記正極、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を浸漬する電解液と、
を備えることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。
前記蓄電パッケージに電解液を注入して、前記正極、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を浸漬させる工程と、
前記正極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を電気化学的に接続、又は、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を電気化学的に接続することで、前記正極又は前記負極にリチウムイオンをドープする工程と、を備えることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池の製造方法。
前記正極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を電気化学的に接続、又は、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を電気化学的に接続することで、前記正極又は前記負極にリチウムイオンをドープする工程と、を備えることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池の容量回復方法。
以下、本実施形態に係るリチウムイオン二次電池、リチウムイオン二次電池の製造方法及びリチウムイオン二次電池の容量回復方法について詳細に説明する。
図1は、本発明に係るリチウムイオン二次電池の実施形態の一例を示す模式図である。図示されるように、本発明に係るリチウムイオン二次電池100は、正極10と、負極20と、正極10又は負極20にリチウムイオンを供給するリチウムイオン供給極30と、正極10、負極20及びリチウムイオン供給極30を浸漬する電解液40により構成される。また、正極10と負極20との間、及び負極20とリチウムイオン供給極30との間には、それぞれセパレータ50が配設されている。
本発明に係るリチウムイオン二次電池の製造方法については、例えば下記の方法を挙げることができる。まず、正極10、負極20及びリチウムイオン供給極30のそれぞれの作製について説明する。
正極10又は負極20にリチウムイオンをドープするにあたっては、上記したように、リチウムイオン二次電池100が完成する前だけでなく、リチウムイオン二次電池100の使用中においてリチウムイオンが不足した段階でドープしてもよい。このように、リチウムイオン二次電池100の使用中において、リチウムイオン供給極30によりリチウムイオンを正極10又は負極20にドープすることで、繰り返しの使用によるSEI膜の形成によって減少したリチウムイオンを補償することができる。

Claims (6)
- 正極と、
黒鉛とシリコン系の活物質とを含む負極と、
前記正極又は前記負極にリチウムイオンを供給するリチウムイオン供給極と、
前記正極、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を浸漬する電解液と、
を備えることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記リチウムイオン供給極は、合金系の活物質を含有する、請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記合金系の活物質は、シリコン、シリコン酸化物及びシリコン合金のうち少なくとも1つである、請求項2に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記リチウムイオン供給極は、更に炭素を含有する、請求項2又は3に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 正極、黒鉛とシリコン系の活物質とを含む負極、及び前記正極又は前記負極にリチウムイオンを供給するリチウムイオン供給極を、それぞれ蓄電パッケージに収容する工程と、
前記蓄電パッケージに電解液を注入して、前記正極、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を浸漬させる工程と、
前記正極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を電気化学的に接続、又は、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を電気化学的に接続することで、前記正極又は前記負極にリチウムイオンをドープする工程と、を備えることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池の製造方法。 - 正極と、黒鉛とシリコン系の活物質とを含む負極と、前記正極又は前記負極にリチウムイオンを供給するリチウムイオン供給極と、前記正極、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を浸漬する電解液と、を備えるリチウムイオン二次電池の容量回復方法であって、
前記正極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を電気化学的に接続、又は、前記負極及び前記リチウムイオン供給極を電気化学的に接続することで、前記正極又は前記負極にリチウムイオンをドープする工程と、を備えることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池の容量回復方法。
