Abstract
Description
図1は、第1の実施形態にかかる映像処理装置の構成を示すブロック図である。本実施形態においては、映像処理装置の一例としてのデジタルテレビジョン受信機11を適用して説明する。なお、本実施形態においては、映像処理装置の一例としてデジタルテレビジョン受信機11を適用したが、これに限るものではなく、セットトップボックス、HDDレコーダなどであってもよい。
次に、第2の実施の形態について説明する。

Claims (5)
- 入力された第1の信号を当該第1の信号よりも低解像度である第2の信号にダウンコンバートするダウンコンバート部と、
前記第1の信号とは別系統で入力された当該第1の信号よりも低解像度である第3の信号の特徴検出を行う特徴検出部と、
を備え、
前記特徴検出部は、前記ダウンコンバート部によりダウンコンバートされた前記第2の信号の特徴検出を行う、
ことを特徴とする画質回路。 - 前記特徴検出部は、前記特徴検出として信号の画素の輝度レベルに基づくヒストグラムを検出する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画質回路。 - 請求項1または2に記載の画質回路と、
前記画質回路を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、前記画質回路の特徴検出部による特徴検出結果を報知する、
ことを特徴とする映像処理装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記画質回路の特徴検出部による特徴検出結果に基づいて、前記第1の信号の画質制御に対するフィードバック信号を出力する、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の映像処理装置。 - 画質回路における信号特徴検出方法であって、
入力された第1の信号を当該第1の信号よりも低解像度である第2の信号にダウンコンバートするダウンコンバートステップと、
前記第1の信号とは別系統で入力された当該第1の信号よりも低解像度である第3の信号の特徴検出を行う特徴検出ステップと、
を含み、
前記特徴検出ステップは、前記ダウンコンバートステップにおいてダウンコンバートされた前記第2の信号の特徴検出を行う、
ことを特徴とする信号特徴検出方法。
