Claims (11)
- 絶縁ベースと、前記絶縁ベースに収容される複数の突合せ端子と、前記絶縁ベース外側を被覆する金属筐体とを含むマルチチャネルコネクタであって、前記絶縁ベースは突合せ溝を備え、前記突合せ端子は、前記突合せ溝に露出される突合せ端子接触部と、回路基板に接続される突合せ端子溶接部とを含み、前記金属筐体は、前記突合せ溝を囲んで垂直方向に延びてなる外接部と、前記外接部の底部端縁から外へ水平に延びてなる底板部と、前記外接部の上端縁を折り曲げてなる水平状態を呈する平板ガード部とを含み、この平板ガード部の少なくとも一方の側縁を下へ折り曲げ延ばして弾性変形可能なバックル部が形成されていることを特徴とするマルチチャネルコネクタ。
- 少なくとも一つの前記バックル部には、相手のコネクタと互いに係合して挿抜力を提供可能なバックル凸部と、弾性変形により相手のコネクタとの間に接地電位接続を形成可能な接点凸部とが設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ。
- 前記金属筐体は絞り成形による一体型部材であり、前記外接部は前記突合せ溝の周りを囲んでいる全密閉構造であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ。
- 前記絶縁ベースは、ベースブロック部と、前記ベースブロック部の両端側に分布され前記ベースブロック部の幅よりも広く設けられる側壁部とを含み、前記突合せ溝は前記ベースブロック部内に設けられ、前記ベースブロック部、側壁部及び前記外接部は囲んで切込み領域が形成され、前記突合せ端子溶接部は前記切込み領域内に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ。
- 前記側壁部毎は上へ延びる立壁部を備え、前記平板ガード部は前記立壁部の上面に被覆していることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ。
- 回路基板に取り付けられるプラグコネクタと、他の回路基板に取り付けられ、前記プラグコネクタと互いに接合可能なソケットコネクタとを備えるマルチチャネルコネクタ組立体であって、前記ソケットコネクタは、絶縁ベースと、前記絶縁ベースに収容される複数の突合せ端子と、前記絶縁ベース外側を被覆する金属筐体とを含み、前記絶縁ベースは突合せ溝を備え、前記突合せ端子は、前記突合せ溝に曝される突合せ端子接触部と、回路基板に接続される突合せ端子溶接部とを含み、前記金属筐体は、前記突合せ溝を囲んで垂直方向に延びてなる外接部と、前記外接部の底部端縁から外へ水平に延びてなる底板部とを含み、前記プラグコネクタは、絶縁本体と、この絶縁本体に設けられる複数の導電性端子と、前記絶縁本体外側を被覆し前記導電性端子の周りを囲んで設けられる遮蔽ケースとを含み、前記絶縁本体は、基体部と、前記基体部から上へ突出してなる中間ブロック部と、前記基体部の両端側に分布され、前記基体部の幅よりも広く設けられる側端部とを含み、前記導電性端子は、前記基体部に固定される導電性端子固定部と、前記導電性端子固定部から延びて前記中間ブロック部内に設けられる導電性端子当接部と、前記導電性端子固定部の他端から延びてなる導電性端子溶接部とを含み、前記遮蔽ケースは、中空平板状のパネル部と、このパネル部の中空部分の縁から上へ延びてなる環状側部とを含み、前記環状側部、前記基体部及び前記側端部は囲んで切欠き領域が形成され、前記導電性端子溶接部は前記切欠き領域内に設けられていることを特徴とするマルチチャネルコネクタ組立体。
- 前記切欠き領域は二つあり、それぞれ前記中間ブロック部の両側において対向して設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ組立体。
- 前記遮蔽ケースは絞り成形による一体型部材であり、前記環状側部は前記導電性端子の周りを囲んで設けられる全密閉構造であり、前記平板状のパネル部は前記環状側部の外側一周にわたって途切れることなく回路基板に溶接される溶接領域を備えることを特徴とする、請求項6又は請求項7に記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ組立体。
- 前記絶縁本体は前記側端部から上へ延びてなる補強壁をさらに含み、この補強壁は幅方向に延びる一直線状の直壁となることを特徴とする、請求項6又は請求項7に記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ組立体。
- 前記環状側部は前記切欠き領域内に向って下へ折り曲げられ延びて折りアームを形成し、この折りアームの内面は前記環状側部の内面に密着していることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ組立体。
- 前記補強壁は、コーナにおいて、両側から前記折りアームに対する位置制限を行うことができるL字状の曲壁がさらに設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のマルチチャネルコネクタ組立体。
