Abstract
Description

Claims (19)
- 超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッドであって、
第1の表面及び第2の表面を有する基材層と、
前記基材の前記第1の表面上に形成された親水性層とを備え、
前記親水性層は、水和して前記超音波トランスデューサと患者との間の音響結合を生じるように構成されている、超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。 - 前記基材層はポリウレタンフィルム材料を含む、請求項1に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。
- 前記ポリウレタンフィルム材料は、約0.025〜1.00ミリメートルの範囲にある厚さを有する、請求項2に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。
- 前記親水性層は、紫外(UV)光硬化性親水性材料又は熱硬化性親水性材料のうちの一方を含む、請求項1に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。
- さらに、
前記基材の前記第2の表面上に形成された第2の親水性層を備え、
前記第2の親水性層は、水和して前記超音波トランスデューサと前記超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッドとの間の音響結合を生じるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。 - さらに、
前記基材の前記第2の表面上に形成された、かつ超音波トランスデューサの動作部分に粘着するように構成された、粘着層を備える、請求項1に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。 - 前記粘着層はシリコーンゲル粘着性コーティングを含む、請求項6に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。
- 前記シリコーン粘着性コーティングは、約0.025〜0.2ミリメートルの範囲にある厚さを有する、請求項7に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。
- 前記シリコーンゲル粘着性コーティングは、100〜200グラム/平方メートル(gsm)の範囲にある被膜重量を有する、請求項7に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。
- さらに、
前記粘着層上に設けられた剥離層を備え、
前記剥離層は、前記粘着層を前記超音波トランスデューサに粘着させる前に取り外されるようになっている、請求項6に記載の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッド。 - 使い捨ての超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッドを作製する方法であって、
基材の第1の面に親水性材料を被着して親水性層を形成することであって、
前記親水性材料は、水和して前記患者と超音波トランスデューサとの間の音響結合を生じるように構成されている、親水性層を形成することと、
前記親水性層を硬化させることと、
上に親水性層が形成された前記基材を所望の大きさ形状に切断して、1つ以上の超音波トランスデューサインタフェースパッドを形成することとを含む、方法。 - 前記基材層はポリウレタン材料を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリウレタン層は、約0.025〜1.0ミリメートルの範囲にある厚さを有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- さらに、
前記基材の第2の面に親水性材料を被着して第2の親水性層を形成することであって、
前記第2の親水性層は、水和して前記患者と超音波トランスデューサとの間の音響結合を生じるように構成されている、第2の親水性層を形成することと、
前記第2の親水性層を硬化させることとを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - さらに、
前記基材の第2の面に粘着性材料を被着して粘着層を形成することであって、
前記粘着性材料は、超音波トランスデューサの動作部分又は患者のうちの一方に取外し可能に粘着するように構成されている、粘着層を形成することと、
前記粘着層に剥離層を被着することとを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記粘着性材料はシリコーンゲル粘着性材料を含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記シリコーンゲル粘着性材料は、約0.025〜0.2ミリメートルの範囲にある厚さを有する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記粘着性材料を被着することは、
100〜200グラム/平方メートル(gsm)の範囲にある被膜重量で、前記シリコーンゲル粘着性材料をコーティングすることを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記親水性材料は、紫外(UV)光硬化性親水性材料又は熱硬化性親水性材料のうちの一方を含み、前記親水性材料を硬化させることは、前記親水性材料をUV硬化させること又は熱硬化させることのうちの一方を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
