Abstract
Description
(i)金属又は合金の層を、金属又は合金基板の表面上に形成することと、
(ii)層を基板に融着させることと、
(iii)(i)と(ii)との層を重ねて繰り返し、堆積された金属又は合金の付着体を基板上に形成することと、を含む、プロセスである。
(i)金属又は合金の層を基板の表面上に形成することであって、金属又は合金が、貴金属又はその合金を含み、基板は、金属又は合金基板である、形成することと、
(ii)層を基板に融着させることと、
(iii)(i)と(ii)との層を重ねて繰り返し、堆積された貴金属又は貴金属合金の付着体を基板上に形成することと、を含む、プロセスである。
金属又は合金の層
本発明のプロセスによれば、金属又は合金の層を基板上に順次敷設し、付着体を基板上に形成する。
(i)金属又は合金の層を基板の表面上に形成することであって、金属又は合金が、貴金属を含み、又は合金が、その貴金属合金を含み、基板は、金属又は合金基板である、形成することと、
(ii)層を基板に融着させることと、
(iii)(i)と(ii)との層を重ねて繰り返し、堆積された貴金属又は貴金属合金の付着体を基板上に形成することと、を含む、プロセスに限定される。
いくつかの実施形態では、方法の工程(i)は、金属又は合金粉末の層を、金属又は合金基板の表面上に形成すること、を含み、工程(ii)は、層内の粉末の少なくとも一部分を、ともに一緒に及び基板に結合又は融着させること、を含む。
プロセスにて、本発明によれば、構成要素を、基板上で付着体の層によって形成する。より具体的には、付着体を、積層造形(AM)によって形成し、金属又は合金基板の表面上に構築し、それに固定する。
本発明によるプロセスでは、積層造形法(AM)を使用する。AMは、材料の2次元層を順次敷設し、一緒に融着又は結合して、3次元固体対象物を形成する技術である。航空宇宙用途及び医療用途で使用するためのプラスチック、金属、及びセラミック構成要素の製作のための技術が開発されてきた。
本発明の一態様による積層造形プロセスの製品は、金属又は合金基板と、基板に融着されたAM堆積金属又は合金の付着体と、を含むアセンブリである点火機器の構成要素である。
図2は、本発明によるスパークプラグの電極を製造するために使用することができる、基板2の図である。
Claims (25)
- 積層造形法を使用する、点火機器の構成要素の製造のためのプロセスであって、
(i)金属又は合金の層を、金属又は合金基板の表面上に形成することと、
(ii)前記層を前記基板に融着させることと、
(iii)(i)と(ii)との層を重ねて繰り返し、堆積された金属又は合金の付着体を前記基板上に形成することと、を含む、プロセス。 - 工程(i)が、金属又は合金粉末の層を、前記金属又は合金基板の前記表面上に形成すること、を含み、工程(ii)は、前記層内の前記粉末の少なくとも一部分を、ともに一緒に及び前記基板に結合又は融着させること、を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記基板上に堆積された前記金属又は合金が、貴金属又はその合金を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記基板が、ニッケル又はニッケル合金を含み、任意選択的に銅コアを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記基板が、Inconel合金を含む、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 積層造形法を使用する、点火機器の複数の構成要素の製造を含み、複数の基板を単一の積層造形ユニット内のアレイに配置する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 隣接する基板上の中心点間の間隔が、1〜10mm、例えば2〜8mmの範囲である、請求項6に記載のプロセス。
- 前記基板を、積層造形ユニットのビルドプレート内の凹部又は穴内の位置とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記基板を前記凹部内の位置とすることにより、前記基板の前記上側表面を実質的に前記ビルドプレートの前記上側表面の高さにし、又は5mm以下のクリアランスの分、前記ビルドプレートの前記上側表面の上方に突出するようにする、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
- 前記基板を、前記凹部又は穴内の適正位置に保持する、請求項8又は9に記載のプロセス。
- 前記基板を、前記基板の前記表面からの突出部と前記穴の内側表面からの突出部との間の当接によって、適正位置に保持する、請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- 前記積層造形法が、粉末床溶融結合、指向エネルギー堆積、及びシート積層から選択される、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記構成要素の少なくとも一部の表面仕上げ及び/又は静水圧プレスから選択される工程(iv)を更に含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 工程(iii)が、工程(i)と(ii)とを少なくとも5回繰り返すこと、を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 3Dメルトプールモニタリングを含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- スパークプラグの中心電極又は接地電極の製造のためのプロセスである、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記残りの中心電極又は接地電極を表す基板上に、スパークプラグの中心電極又は接地電極の先端を形成するためのプロセスである、請求項16に記載のプロセス。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載のプロセスによって得られた、又は得ることができる、点火機器の構成要素。
- 請求項18に記載の構成要素を含む、点火機器。
- スパークプラグである、請求項19に記載の点火機器。
- 請求項19又は20に記載の点火機器を含む、エンジン。
- 点火機器における電極としての、請求項18に記載の点火機器の構成要素の使用。
- 積層造形法を使用する、貴金属含有構成要素の製造のためのプロセスであって、
(i)金属又は合金の層を基板の表面上に形成することであって、前記金属又は合金が、貴金属又はその合金を含み、前記基板は、金属又は合金基板である、形成することと、
(ii)前記層を前記基板に融着させることと、
(iii)(i)と(ii)との層を重ねて繰り返し、堆積された貴金属又は貴金属合金の付着体を前記基板上に形成することと、を含む、プロセス。 - 工程(i)が、金属又は合金粉末の層を、前記基板の前記表面上に形成すること、を含み、工程(ii)は、前記層内の前記粉末の少なくとも一部分を、ともに一緒に及び前記基板に結合又は融着させること、を含む、請求項23に記載のプロセス。
- 前記基板上に堆積された前記金属又は合金が、Ru、Rh、Pd、Ir、及びPtから選択される、白金族金属若しくは合金、又はその合金を含む、請求項23又は24に記載のプロセス。
